No, does not have the option. Its that thick due to front camera.

at least we can request for data/day display option on notification bar since QuickStar app is highly customizable

What i'm looking for is an app that will hide my notification bar BUT will show the notification bar when i have a notification
So no notification = bar is hidden
notification = bar is shown

The OP said he tested it on his Note 3 so I am guessing it works. I want to try it but I wonder if it interferes with Wanam. Or do I even need this if I have Wanam.

Oops, man I completely overlooked that. I thought he was saying the developer tested it lol.
I want to try too, but I have Wanam as well and don't want to risk a bootloop.
I have both wanam and this but it seems to override the wanam settings

I agree. Not because Blast isn't any good but because Wanam is designed for Samsung phones.
It has a lot of little features that I wish wanam had though. Wish I could combine them

just go to the Xposed installer, go to modules, and make sure you have them both checked.
the only time any features get over ridden is if you enable a feature under both modules.. just pick wich module youd like to use for which settings...

I think a more stock system ui color is in order, I very much dislike the colors Samsung gives to us to use. I would also like to remove the s finger, change the quick connect icon, and remove the app settings icon, and possibly add the users icon and option so it resembles the stock Marshmallow notification shade and quick toggle dropdown

Sooooooo, for the phone. All good, except when the statusbar shows in white while typing even if it was changed to black from the settings. Anyone have a solution or a workaround ? I want my statusbar black when I am typing. I attached two screenshots to show what I mean.
Also, tried with chrome and it was black , very weird ! Probably depends on which app being used.

Yeah, I did find that it seems to be present in all samsung apps, like messaging and settings. But other applications that you'd download from the play store don't have that issue!

yeah unfortunately samsung didn't implement a dynamic color navigation bar.

I'm pretty sure that by default the app can decide on the navbar color.
Navbar apps was updated yesterday and now works very well with the s8. You can black out the navbar, set colors for when keyboard is open and even color the navbar dynamically based on the open app.
How can I make the notification bar transparent so it's not looking like a bar across the top of the screen I have tried clicking transparent in the setting but it still looks like this
On Nova, open up settings and go to look and feel and you should have an options for the Notification bar and a selection to select Transparent notification bar.
