Thanks for a great / beautiful rom. Fyi for some, you have to flash supersu in recovery for root access.

Rom works good but a couple of comments :
I got an error at the end of flashing - but it booted fine. Odd.
Are you planning to tackle the color issue all these Flex roms seem to have? The calendar app and the menus (black text on dark grey background) are a couple.
Are you planning to change the menu/settings background picture? I went ahead and changed mine by replacing it with a black background, but some folks may not be able to do that. Just wondering.
As for compliments - I really like the font you chose and I like how some of the popup menus are semi transparent. Looks great.

Thanks again for your work on this, best Flex rom I've used. Couple of requests : please post a patch for stock nav bar height. Also, the animation seems weird on this. Slower? I'm not sure. I had to turn animations off because it was lagging pretty bad.

Are you using the latest update?i took out the animations and yes i will make a patch.

[Mod][KitKat][07.07.14] Notification Panel Mods

Kickoff's QuickSettings Mod
This thread has been separated from Hid3rs thread where I posted my mods first.
HTC Sense 5 style quick settings panel.
Hid3rs' beautiful work brought me to the idea to develop something similar with the look of other device theming (HTC, Samsung maybe later). Since I liked the HTC horizontal EQS icons (Sense 5) very much I started to learn the structure of the LGSystemUI.apk and several theming methods. I have to note that I am a beginner in terms of theming, but the result of my first project seems to be fine... If an experienced coder could help me to get the full panel including HTC stock background pngs, I would be very grateful.
First of all I have to thank to Hid3rs who helped me a lot. The base of this mod was his work.
The HTC icons come from several source, they are mainly stock. Some of them was edited by Basil. Many thanks for his permission. The missing LG icons and animations have been made by me.

Installation
Simply flash the *.zip in your recovery. In case of CloudyFlex and the G3 versions it will flash a new LGSystemui.apk, the other versions only modify it partly.
Please make a nandroid backup first and keep Hid3rs' corresponding version on your SDCard for emergency cases. Or follow his description how to install the stock SystemUI back.

I am using Energy rom, it is JB, went ahead and flashed anyway and can confirm that it doesn't work for this rom, but when I do finally move over to a KK rom I will try again, definitely like the colored icons, need more colored icon themes like this, as for AOSP and basic Android menus, they need colored icons as well.

hello, i have flashed it via twrp but i can't find the icon pack on Themes. I have tried applying the default theme too but it doesn't work.

It's an add-on to the default theme. To the primary default theme. You can not choose it separately, and it does not apply to the rather new additional stock themes coming with MIUI 8. Take screenshots of your desktops, flash the remover and compare. Are you sure nothing changes?

i just installed xiaomi eu rom then installed the icon pack again on a theme i downloaded from the theme store. A few icon changed but most didn't . Do i have to use the default theme before installing?

It works only with the stock default MIUI 8 theme (see screenshot).
Flash the pack, use the default theme. Maybe reapply if it did not change. Be sure to have enough free space on /system.

Nothing has been changed in the updater script.
I gotta have a look if I still got v11.0, but I am pretty sure that this won't be the problem.
Use a root explorer and have a look inside /system/media/theme/miui_mod_icons ... are the 13.000 icons there?
Do you have enough free space on /system?
I am using latest weekly dev ROM on my Redmi Note 4 and latest stable ROM on my Redmi Note 3 SE (both Xiaomi.eu) and got no problems with v12.0.

Ok, there are 11459 icons in that folder on my RN4 and /system is totally full, see attachments.
So some icons doesn't get changed because of missing space for their alternatives into /system partition.
I could manually free som space removing some icons useless for me and placing the ones I'm missing into that folder, but I won't do that.
What keeps so much space into /system, what can be deleted from there, apps goes into /data so removing some of them is useless, what can I handle to keep some room back?

Well, I have recovered some space deleting some apps into /system/app and /system/private/app, then cleaning Application remains with SD-Maid, and, once rebooted into TWRP, before flashing MIA_ex, cleaning cache and dalvik.
At the end the space obtained was about 180/190 MB.
Now the icons are 13039.
Odd is to do this at every MIUI update, luckily I'm on the global stable which get updates once a month instead of once a week of the developers one.

It is a bit old but might help others (and might be to you too).
Your mac address look like it was cleared. You might have selected download+format in the flash-tool.
You should never use format
It clears IMEI, mac address, google play unique thingy and more.
If you created a backup for those you can restore them (backup and restore using flash-tool)
If you haven't you can try recovering using SN_Writer.

You might skip the google certificate part (a red mark will remain on the status bar if you do).
Find your original IMEI in your phone original packaging.

You mean When you play a video on YouTube . And you press homescreen. That the video is still playing in a little window at the right corner ?

NO. Only for Z2 with mt6763

Good job. I also own the Z2. I'm curious about roming. Can you share a few screenshots? Especially the main screen. For example, do the notices in this ROM appear in the notification bar?

here you have some pictures.
its how i use it
the appdrawer showes a clean system.
also i use gestures to swipe down the notification bar. /apex settings/Gestures)
the notices appear in the notification bar , but not in the statusbar, and i can not change it because i dont have the stock source.

It is bad It is boring to download the status bar down every time I believe that in the future we will save us from this situation .. I will try and install a roma as soon as possible.

Well. Give me the source of umidigi z2 and i will do a lot
At the moment eragon is only at its first version .. there will be much more in the future.. I just started to develop for this phone..
And this version of eragon is much much better then the stock rom.. you will feel it in performance and in battery ...
