SideSqueeze 2.0 - add squeeze gestures to any Galaxy phone! (2017+) [Nougat/Oreo/Pie] - Android Apps and Games

What is SideSqueeze?
SideSqueeze is an innovative and unique app that uses the barometric pressure sensor in your device to detect squeezes and screen presses. It is compatible only with Samsung Galaxy devices from 2017 onwards, although some people have reported varying degrees of success with Pixel devices.
Haven't I heard this name before?
In March 2018 an early version of this app went viral and gained much publicity quite literally overnight. That was a crude alpha version where not much regard was given for user experience, which led to many users becoming overwhelmed and/or confused. Unfortunately not long after that, major events in my life prevented me from having the time to undertake a proper redesign. However since early this year I have been working hard to bring...SideSqueeze 2.0!
What It Does
SideSqueeze gives your S8/S9/S10 series Galaxy the ability to respond to squeezes, double squeezes, triple squeezes, quadruple squeezes, long squeezes, and/or inertial squeezes, as well as force presses on the screen. For example, you can double squeeze your phone to activate Google Assistant...or maybe you'd like to quadruple squeeze to toggle auto-rotation. And now with Tasker integration, you can even create elaborate tasks to do just about anything and trigger them with any type of squeeze! SideSqueeze's new modular GUI allows you to pick and choose what you want to do with ease.
Features (not all available in trial version)
6 detectable squeeze types (single, double, triple, quadruple, long, and inertial)
3 detectable press types (single, long, and 2-finger)
Independently selectable criteria allow you to assign multiple actions to any trigger type (if lockscreen open, if homescreen open, if camera open, if S-Pen detached, if within 5-seconds of power on, or if screen is off)
New app picker to launch any app of your choosing
Tasker integration to launch any task of your choosing
Quick Settings tile to toggle detection engine
Wide selection of common actions, such as flashlight toggling, status bar toggling, etc
Adjustable pressure thresholds
Calibration assistant to customize SideSqueeze to your device's unique characteristics
Efficient detection algorithm that is designed to be as lightweight and low-power as possible with no significant impact on battery life

Where do I get it?
SideSqueeze 2.0 is complete right now, however I need a very small number of testers to confirm before I make it live on the Play store. Please PM me if you'd like to test this today!

As a child, did counter with calculator. Amassed one and you press "=" as needed, the same schetkik. Still be regarded as not one, but, say, 1.75, so you do not count.
On the contacts button "=" solder wires and made the wheel locking pin turns. It was possible to measure distance and speed. The same principle is all arranged Cycling computers.
Thanks for this app.

Thank you for good idea. Multiplier can be realized in the next version.
Nice app and nice design!
Think it's a bit too much animations in the dialogs. Try limit it to one type and increase the speed of it. It looks nice but you get fed up rather quickly.
I would like to be able to have several counter-buttons on the same screen as well. When my kids do their swimming classes I need to keep track of two kids at the same time and sometimes the hit-moment can occur almost at the same time.

Thanks for your feedback. In the next version of the application ability to disable the animation will be released. About two counters on a single screen - we will think how to do it. Thank you.

This is definitely cool! Is there a chance for a video demo?
Very deceptive...
If this seems harsh, it is due to the screenshots that were obviously faked, misleading customers such as myself.
I bought this app in good faith. A decision I now regret. I have seen the devs work before and think he is worthy of the $2. He still is. That is coming from a person who doesn't spend more then .99 on a app.
The screenshots showed this on a round watch. Since there is only one, I would have suspected that would be the 360. Oh the lies...
(Note, I am not the only one who has discovered this, one person left a play comment with similar feedback (i have not left feedback yet).
The app simply isn't compatible with 360 (or any current wear round device).
-The app launched on wear rotates the screen, items cut off
-The pattern lock screen shows too high, does not cover screen, and is cut off
--Actually the slide to unlock shows as a oval, not circular.
-The gesture to lock doesn't work
I had to switch to Showear - which does the same for free and works.
I know circle is different and harder to work with. My major gripe is the fake screenshots, which in today's work is a form of lying.

Wouldve loved to use it but I believe because of my broken glass at the back it doesn't work well.
