hi! I have Coolpad cool changer 1C(Rev. 107-9). On custom firmware 9 Android does not work equalizers. On Aex, Resurrection Remix, Havoc Os, Lineage Os. The equalizer starts, but there is no effect of changing the settings. If in the accessibility settings enable/disable mono sound then EQ effects appear as long as the current track is playing. Different audio players do not play flac, ogg. If delete a section compress_ofload of auduo_policy.conf, the equalizer starts to work, but flac and ogg are not played anyway. Help to find in what a problem, please

I've been using DoubleTwist, Winamp, and PowerAMP recently to decide which I like best. I like doubletwist for its interface and streaming features available for upgrade, i like winamp for overall features and a clean and simple interface, and i like PowerAMP for its wide array of sound mixing, and EQ options. I'm currently on LeeDroid, so i have the SRS and Dolby settings, but if i went to CM7, or in the other players in general, how do i access these settings? I've searched the forum and found one check box in Poweramp, but how about the others?
The only reason I ask is cause, with my cheap headphones, SRS makes a difference. With my expensive in-ear monitors, i use a manual EQ or DSP manager, but with the built in speaker, or cheap earphones, SRS and Dolby work fine.
Thanks for the help
I don't know about the other players but I use CM7 and PowerAMP, I love it for all the eq settings you can do, I have different set ups for all my headphones. And in the EQ settings there is a small button that says DHD and when you click it you can turn on SRS and Dolby.
No, this is not like other "Dolby Atmos" mods. Here we gonna talk about the technology of Dolby Atmos on our mobile devices.
What's Dolby Atmos?
Dolby Atmos technology allows up to 128 audio tracks plus associated spatial audio description metadata (most notably, location or pan automation data) to be distributed to theaters for optimal, dynamic rendering to loudspeakers based on the theater capabilities. Each audio track can be assigned to an audio channel, the traditional format for distribution, or to an audio "object." Dolby Atmos by default, has a 10-channel 7.1.2 bed for ambience stems or center dialogue, leaving 118 tracks for objects.
(Wikipedia)
But this is only about home theaters right?
No, Dolby Atmos Mobile it's the name of this technology for Mobile devices.
While cinema and home theater systems have multiple channels, the headphones and built-in speakers of mobile devices are two-channel stereo. To create the Dolby Atmos experience for mobile users, Dolby scientists drew on their extensive research and expertise in psychoacoustics, the study of how we perceive sound.
Creating a realistic perception of height and surround sound two-channel mobile systems begins with head-related transfer functions (HRTFs). HRTFs describe how incoming sounds located at different positions around us arrive at our ears.
HRTFs Make Magic
A streaming-media Dolby Atmos mix supports up to 128 simultaneous audio objects and includes metadata that describes the location of each one in space. The Dolby Atmos processor on a mobile device applies our extensive sets of HRTFs to this metadata to recreate the spatial information in a stereo signal. Heard over any headphones or earbuds, this stereo soundtrack accurately simulates the theatrical sound, including sounds from above, for a powerful and spacious experience.
Dolby Atmos Mobile
Ok,ok. It's all very excited but if you are a "audiophile" like me you have questions about all that miracle of technology
This Dolby Atmos "Mobile" can really play the surround sound or it's just another fancy equalizer?
Well, I made some tests and have a great news...
It's real
I use a Lenovo Vibe K6, that phone have the Atmos thing ?, then I find this link called "Dolby tones test" here you gonna find some test tones of dolby atmos,
For Test tones: Download the Dolby Test Tones MP4 file that matches your Dolby AtmosĀ® speaker configuration (for example, 5.1.2, 7.1.4, or another)

First time I test the configuration 7.1.4 with MX player but doesn't work at all, so I test the same tone with the native video player and for my surprise it's works perfectly, you can hear all the channels separately on the right place, it's amazing.
Ok, so this means you can watch movies with Dolby Atmos logo on your phone, to really works the app of Atmos has to be turn on and with virtualization enable (virtual surround).
I don't know your hear but the Netflix now has support for Dolby Atmos to, and has plans to bring that to phones ( you can now only watch Dolby titles on Xbox one and some LG tvs). But if have a digital copy of some movie with dolby atmos you can watch on native player of smartphone (I don't know if this works on non natives phones like Dolby Atmos mods).
I am creating this thread to find out the best EQ settings for Dolby Atmos music Equalizer.
I am attaching the one which I created and think it's working better than the smart EQ.
Please share your settings.

I don't have any option to set a specific EQ setup ?? I can just choose the predefined Smart, Movie, Game or Music.

How can get this option?
Hey, the setting you are looking for is only available in settings > sound & vibration > dolby atmos, when the earphones are connected.
Auto is fine with a volume boosting app running always
Plz give me eq number
The built in one can't be turned on for bluetooth earbuds. So what options do I have? I don't want to root.
well if you have Google Play Music,it has good equalizer in its app and its a good one for playing music with good bass effects and many more.
moreover most of the other music players has inbuilt equalizers.
Hi guys,
I didn't do much with the Dolby Atmos things and I listen music only in my car.
I had a preset with the stock equalizer to make great bass on my car, and I loved it.
Can be a way to get the old equalizer from OP6T, just want an stock equalizer, because equalizers I found on the playstore **** up, and I doesn't get the same sound as the OP6T.
Any helps/solutions ?
Any ideas?
