Can we root S10E with this link? I just found it on the web.
Seems like they copy and paste this "manual" for each and every (Samsung?) phone. First point : find me a home-button on the S10(e) ...
I don't believe TWRP is available yet on the S10, nevertheless the S10+ recently got rooted https://www.xda-developers.com/exynos-samsung-galaxy-s10-rooted-magisk/
S10e won't be far off
does anyone have tried the patch boot image magisk method ?useless to try ?
Check it out!! https://twitter.com/topjohnwu/status/1112611158735966209?s=19
The magisk Mastermind has struck gold again! This is no April fool's day joke! We are about to see payloads galore!!
Great work John Wu!
Why is it that I can't find any information on the status of the snapdragon version of the s10e root/bootloader unlock? I love this phone but I really need root. Does anyone know where I can find information or status updates?

From my understanding, if your model has the option to unlock the bootloader from developer options, then you can root. If you have a snapdragon varient, the only model that has the ability to unlock the bootloader is the SM-G9700 which is only sold in hong kong/china. I believe all Exynos models have the ability to unlock the bootloader, not sure though.
No one has rooted the snap dragon variant, but I'm sure it's possible. I just don't understand why there's no information or status updates on it.

Im pretty sure people are using the Exynos method on snapdragon variants that have the unlockable bootloader.

Don't be so sure about unlocking the US Snapdragon devices. There hasn't been a real root since the S7 series, the S8 root only works on some older bootloaders and crashing a lot, while the S9/S10 have nothing so far. Without an unlockable bootloader, it's extremely difficult to do anything. On the S7 it was possible via special engineering bootloaders, but that trick doesn't work on the S8/S9/S10 series coupled Samsung's new bootloader security measure via "VaultKeeper". Even on the Exynos versions it's a struggle to run Magisk, on every reboot you have to go through a bunch of steps to basically re-unlock the bootloader. It's basically game over rooting new US flagship Samsung devices, therefore you're better off with the international/global Exynos "F" versions.
can i root gm1913 on 9.5.7 with all in one tool?

Far as I know, the tool will work for any of the 7 Pro models. Partial exception with the US T-Mobile version, which needs to be bootloader unlocked using a token obtained from T-Mobile (or alternately, "converted" to the international version).
You'd probably get better response posting to the existing AIO tool thread. The developer is very responsive to questions. You really should have posted there, to begin with.
Is there currently any method for rooting this device? If not, is anyone at least working on one?

Not yet. Only the EU variant has unlockable bootloader so we'll just have to wait and see what we can learn from that version. Hopefully it will help other variants.
I'm looking at an OP8 IN2010 with Global Rom installed. I need to know if this combo is rootable or not. Thanks.

It's the same for every regional version, you just need to use fastboot and enter the command "fastboot oem unlock"
If you're still a beginner I recommend you watch videos of how to do that. But if you don't have time here is an all in one tool : https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-8/how-to/tool-tool-one-driversunlocktwrpfactory-t4103511
I have a OnePlus 6 (Intl version) before, I have unlocked bootloader on that. Just want to make sure the CN version can unlock bootloader easily before I buy one.

Hello everyone, I have a problem with my Xiaoxin Pad Plus (TB-J607F).
When I bought it in a China store, it had a pseudo Global Rom on it. I then flashed the China Rom and everything worked fine. Also got some OTA update.
Then I got the stupid idea to try another Rom (P11 5G via LMSA) and now I can't get back to the China Rom. I guess something is preventing a downgrade because I did the OTA update.
As I remember it was the ZUI 13.1.???.
But I only have this ROM :TB-J607F_CN_WIFI_USER_Q00010.0_R_ZUI_12.6.142_ST_210801_qpst-001.7z
I would very much like to go back to the China ROM and maybe there is a way.
Thanks for your help.
You must unlock bootloader to flash back to China ROM as Global ROM is much more newer than China ROM. If you want to relock, you need to wait Lenovo release ZUI14 on September.
thanks for your reply.
yes indeed, the bootloader is locked.
I need an unlock file which I can only get from Lenovo. ( please correct me if i am wrong)
I requested this from Lenovo a few days ago but so far no response.
https://www.zui.com/iunlock
I may have to be patient.

In fact if you are in Global ROM now, you don't need to request for unlock file. Just enable oem unlock in Developer Settings, reboot to bootloader and run
Code:
fastboot flashing unlock
Only Chinese Firmware need unlock file.
Thanks for the explanation
I still have a few questions.
1. can I lock the bootloader again after the China Rom flashed and downloaded the OTA update?
2. with which command I lock the bootloader again?
Thanks in advance

Do you have a tutorial on how to install china rom on my pad plus global rom? Thank you!
In principle, you can also use the How TO from Tropaion.

The ZUI-ROM has besides chinese also english.
The important thing is that the ROM is newer than what you have at the moment. The latest is ZUI 14, only then you can flash the ROM when the bootloader is locked. Otherwise you have to unlock the bootloader.
