Hi,
Does the normal oneplus 7 have USB-C 3.1 ports with HDMI output ?
I want to be able to connect this phone directly with hmdi to my TV.
There is different point of view on the internet.
Thanks for your answer,

Hey guys,
anyone got HDMI out of their USB-C port using a powered USB-C hub with built in HDMI? If so, can you link to your USB-C hub?
Thanks!
I don't think this phone supports the MHL stuff required to output via HDMI. Only wireless video?
Hi,
I want to buy the oneplus 7.
Can you confirm this phone has HDMI output ? Some people say it does only work with op7 pro.
If you manage to make it work, can you tell me which dock did you use ?
Thanks,
I dont know about hdmi (i havent a cable to test) but ScreenCast(aka Miracast, aka mirror your screen by wifi) work much better than op3, more quality, stability and less lag [i test it with same tv, same wifi only diferent is the phone]
oneplus 7 supports HDMI out via USB type C port

Amazon Basics USB C to HDMI adapter and then normal HDMI
I have a HAMA dock from a usb c to HDMI/usb c/2x 3.0 usb A ports. It does output video and audio, the charging and video output is kinda fiddly. Tried getting the AMPERE app from playstore to get a reading on the charge current but it doesn't seem to detect it charging although i do think the phone is getting power. (I guess 900ma, that's what;s written on the back side of the dock). While charging and video output i managed to plug an usb stick and it worked. Tried plugging a usb mouse but for some reason it did not work.
Hi to all,
did anyone tried any usb-c to hdmi adapters and found them working?
I have one, but with that one, I dont have picture.
desktop mode with android 10 seems interesting
Thank you
Hello!
HDMI Output is possible on this phone?
Ive bought one Usb-c to HDMI converter but its doesnt work.
Somewhere i read that if i get a usb 2.0 to 3.0 converter it would be possible.
Installing two different apps, One says that it support mhl, other says it doesnt.
Thanks
Unfortunately no. Xiaomi does not support mhl.
So there's no way to capture video from the device via capture card?
Not what you're asking for, but I mirrored it fine with an Amazon Fire HDMI stick to my TV. It was a bit touch and go, until I changed my wifi connection to 5GHz. Maybe you could do some HDMI wiggling to get the data?
Cheers
Steve
hi to all,
i need to connect this phone by cable to TV. I'm looking for info about this kind of connection but i think to understood that the phone has usb-c 2.0 connector and using usb-c to hdmi cable doesnt works. It's right ?
Is there any way to connect this phone by cable without using devices like chromecast ? maybe an MHL adaptor ?
thanks !
