Hi to all,
I'm using revolver 4.2.0 ROM on ASUS TF101. I've noted that the audio does't work after deep sleep. It happens often If I use skype.
I have to restart my device every time.
Has anyone observed this kind of bug?

Solved updating to JB AOSP. Seems to happen only with Skype working in background.

I've installed skype once on my TF101... I'll look tonight if it's still installed ! It was a long time ago, and i've done a few reset since then !
We just have to wait for Asus to release JB so lol
edit : skype uninstalled ! I'll see if I still have sound problem...
No issue this weekend... so far so good !

I've spoke too fast.
For one week now, I reboot twice a day to have sound back !! :crying:
This is happening to me too (AOKP JP and CM10), with Skype not having ever been installed. If I reboot, the sound will work flawlessly, but when I turn the screen off I'll hear the lock "click", and when I turn the screen back on I'll get a garbled half-click unlock, and no sound thereafter until a reboot. Going to grab a logcat tonight and see if I can at least figure out a kernel or framework error to work from.

I've temporary solved coming back to ICS, withe revolver ROM.
It doesnt' happen as often as before, but sometimes (one time at week) the device is completally mute and I've to restart it.
I don't konw why.

I've had this with the stock rom and it's persisting with revolver. Generally seemed to be related to the issue with touchscreen sensitivity being *#@! after deep sleep, though at least touchscreen seems a LOT better with revolver - haven't even had to use the app which fixes that yet.
Found a solution. With the KAT kernel and K.A.T. app you can reinit the DSP and audio comes back! This kernel works with CM10, don't know about revolver

Is anyone else having an issue In Hangouts of text not appearing when typed.
I'm suffering with this on my N5 and the only way to rectify it seems to be a reboot. Its not a major inconvenience but it does strike me as odd that it only seems to occur in Hangouts and not in other G apps or 3rd party apps like Whatsapp etc.
If anyone else is having this problem or has found a fix for it do let me know.

I've had it happen a few times over the past couple months. I normally just go back to the conversation list, and it fixes it.

It was buggy (not sending to random people) for me last week, but after uninstalling and installing a the latest update, so far good.

Hey Guys...I have an Xperia E1 and have started getting problems with it.
I had installed a few apps but they frequently disappear at random intervals!
I have no idea what's going on! Sometimes, the icons on home screen,widgets,etc also disappear!
BTW, by apps disappearing, I mean they get deleted completely! I have to re install them again and they disappear again after a while!
The phone has 4.3
So, Do i hard reset it and hope for a change or are these a part of the issues in this phone? I've been waiting for the kitkat update but it doesn't seem to release any soon though a leaked pic suggests its sometime this month.

Just updated to kitkat a couple of days before and then did a repair consequently in lieu of a factory reset.
So far so good will wait for a a day or two to confirm that the bug is gone.

Can confirm that there are no issues now hat I've done a repair. Kitkat is smooth as butter except for one bug.
The hangout app never seems to permanently stay as my default SMS app. It keeps switching to the default android message app...
Stranger still is that twhen the switch happens, the notifications tone doesn't play. I have to open the message app to realize that i have a message.
Is it just in my case or is anyone else facing the issue?

i too have zeus kernel but have overclock upto 1.5 ghz..!! how come you have 1.8 ghz..?? and how did you extended your battery??

I noticed that my phone randomly freezes on 9gag application and after a few seconds it soft reboots. Did this happen to someone else or with other app?
I have looked through last_kmsg and there are no kernel panics.

It happened 3 times in one week (I have just bought it) and only on 9gag. I am afraid that this happened on that app just by chance.
You'll probably have to try and reproduce it whilst getting a logcat. There's not going to be much anyone can say without that info

If you delete the app do you have the same problem with the soft reboot?
I'll try to reproduce it. I can provide the bug report from the phone's developer options if it helps.
@qnc I have experienced the reboot only in that app. No soft reboots otherwise.

I would have to say that it is the app causing the issue then. I would submit a bug report to the developer and see if they can trouble shoot the app.
Im on rooted OxygenOS 5.1.9 and my Whatsapp gets killed sometimes, i disabled optimization but i still dont receive messages all the time

Seems like a very common problem.
This was the third post with the same problem.
I had with tasker that resolved after turning off battery optimisation.

Yeah that was it on my OP3T too, in this case it was a faulty whatsapp installation
