Hello there! I need to rollback my Honor 8 from android 8 to 7 with HiSuite but I can't, it says "Software install failed. The update package does not exist. Please download the package again." I tried to manually rollback using dload but it's the same story. I rolledback before in the past and didn't have any issues, but now it seems I can't get arround it in any way! Please help !!!

Did you receive any help with this? There are some kernels and stuff lying around these forums which with Some trial and error I think you can flash through recovery

hi All, i been trying to root the latest j2 7.1.1 version J250FDXU2ARD3 using odin and firmware mobi root file but it seems it did not work at all no matter i do , i even flash pit file which i bought for few dollar. Please help this lone wolf stuck under secure check fail :cache.

Edit: You can install openkirin custom rom and resolve your "problem". But it has some bugs.

i havn't used my honor 6x BLN-L22 in a while but i'd like to revive it, i bricked it when i was trying to flash some custom roms and i tried to dload severel B520 firmwares from ff but with no success.
it was on android 8 build 520 before the brick, is there a way to restore it? i even tried to rollback to android 7 by deloading b340 but no success either
the bootloader is unlocked, and here's a picture with it's info:

It's the same message for any official ROM even the latest and the installation just stopped.
