What is LineageOS?
LineageOS, also known as LineageOS Android Distribution and Lineage (/ˈlɪn.i.ɪdʒ/), is a free and open-source operating system for smartphones and tablet computers based on the Android mobile platform. It is the successor to the highly popular custom ROM CyanogenMod, from which it was forked in December 2016 when Cyanogen Inc. announced it was discontinuing development and shut down the infrastructure behind the project. Magisk Installation:
Download Magisk Canary build from the link below and install thru twrp and reboot to system. Modules do work.
Note: Once rooted, do not alter/remove any system apps using any third-party apps like system app remover, etc. Otherwise, it will cause bootloop.

ROM Quick Review
Screenshots in zip attached.
 Internal and External SD Card storage are accessible.
 Lockscreen options working fine.
 Volte Calls and data works. Used Jio for testing.
 Calls thru Bluetooth devices are working.
 In-call volume is loud. No issues.
 Call recording available and works alright.
 Media/music plays fine thru speaker.
 Default camera (front & rear) photos and video recording working without issues.
 Interface is smooth, same as LOS ROM.
 Double Tap to sleep on lockscreen works.
 Adaptive brightness works.
 Hotspot works.
 Too early to say about SOT, but battery backup seems good.
 Magisk root (canary builds) works including modules. PROCEED WITH CAUTION ONLY IF YOU KNOW HOW TO ROOT THIS DEVICE. I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY TYPE OF LOSS.
NOT WORKING:
 Music thru Bluetooth devices.
 Fingerprint.
 Double tap to wake/sleep (check if Kernel A app can make it work, but not guaranteed though)

Known and noticed....its happening only when recording audio...not with calls and call recording....it will be fixed soon.....but try some third party sound recorder apps...

Working well. But all Pie roms are lagging on my 3gb ram karate, and not as smooth as Oreo.

Not in gaming (I don't do games). But in general use like switching between apps, opening apps, scrolling, sometimes even when pulling down the notification panel. In my case Pie doesn't retain apps in memory as much as Oreo does and has to reload them more often.
Btw, I'm not complaining. I'm happy that I'm even using Pie on an old phone.

I want to unlock bootloader only for this Rom , is it good for daily use ? battery life , mobile data , camera or something else
I recently got a Nokia 7.1 phone , I've used a Sony phone in the past and custom Rom's make the phone HOT , How is this ROM in this respect ?

1 . vibrate dose not work on navigation key
2.Bluetooth media playback not working , only call audio working ( tested with bluetooth handsfree and car audio system )

Just installed it, and it looks pretty good this far. However, i can only seem to get slow charging speed, and the display calibration thingy doesn't work, just like in the previous rom i had installed. not sure if that's a bug or something else.

zenparts doesn't work sir, and vibrate on call connect/disconnect doesn't work. apart fromt that everything works fine.

And also , there's some glitch with the sound, sudden sound off, no sound from headphones or phone speaker, have to restart to fix the issue, this happens frequently. Please look into this sir.

Clean flashed this rom. Rom is smooth and beautiful UI.
features i loved in this rom :
1.Settings ui is well arranged in sections.
2. Gcam 8.2 is working without any issues ( just disable HDR in front Cam to work)
3. Dirac sound enhancer is working ( no need of other sound FX).
4. good battery backup.
5.Smart charging is working.
6. Wifi & Bluetooth is working ( no issues).
I am facing some issues. i it would be fixed in next update.

No need to restart device, just switch this (Link ring & notification volumes) button to get soud back immediately.

@Khirendra could you post a little step by step guide on how to proceed with the process of rooting, installing a custom bootloader and finally installing your rom? It's been a long time since I've done such things and it's a first for me on this Asus device. Thanks in advance.

I have found that my phone often automatically shuts down while in standby mode.

A couple of hours on this ROM (2.5) and I've already found some issues.
1. There is no lockscreen rotation setting so I edited /system/build.prop with "lockscreen.rot_override=true" but it didn't work. That was working on Arrow OS.
2. Volume is a mess. Speaker is not loud enough. On the other hand the headphones volume is loud as hell. The same issue was on Arrow OS. I had to play with mixer_paths.xml until they fixed it.
3. Gesture key settings are also broken. It shows wrong pattern even if it's turned off. And you can't turn off the dots for the blind entry.
4. The PlayerPro music player couldn't find any media files despite getting access to the storage. After returning to Arrow OS PlayerPro found all the files immediately.

The screen turns on automatically after screen timeout, voltage-2.5-X01BD-20230506.
