Tried installing a font on my phone but soft-bricked and had to reset - Moto G7 Power Questions & Answers

Hey guys, I reflashed to stock firmware and all that on my Power but technically I still see the font and all that. Me with my OCD, it still bothers to see a font that I don't want anymore. Thankfully it was a throwaway phone, and unlocked and im using my LG G7 for my main phone... So any help on how I can get my default font back is appreciated. No rush to get it back working, but would like help if anyone knows how. Thanks for reading

I need help with my droid x real bad

I tried searching but since I'm very new to this forum I have no idea where to look. Anyway I went to update the ROM file on my droid x and in the process have managed to mess it up real bad. I'm trying to set my phone back to its out of the box state and I'm not quite sure how to do so. Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated and if there is a thread already containing this issue just show me the way. thanks in advance.
wow 30 views and no help? bummer.
It would help to know what exactly is wrong with the phone
i tried to update it from an older version of the fission rom to the most recent and in the process it said my multi touch keyboard stopped working in the process so i couldn't type anything at all. so after that i figured i should just revert it back to factory settings with the motorola rsd lite program. now its stuck at the bootloader screen with this text.
Bootloader
30.03
Err:A5,70,70,00,1F
MEM_MAP Blank
Service Req'd
Battery OK
OK to Program
Transfer Mode:
USB
And it won't go anywhere from there. It's been like this for at least an hour now. Please tell me there is a way to fix this. Hope this helps a little more.
try to post this stuff in the Droid X forum, you will get more help and also did you try flashing a stock rom, also can you access the recovery
no luck on accessing recovery. its just stuck on that screen for now. i'll try those forums. thanks.
You probably need to use a diff sbf file
Sent from my DROIDX using XDA App
any clue to where i can find one for say 2.2? or should i just stick to 2.1?

[Q] Bricked Lg Optimus V

Sooo... I recently got rid of my Samsung Captivate. I loved the phone, I simply didn't like paying $100 a month for it. ( Darn you greedy AT&T. Haha )So when I found out about this LG Optimus V and it was $25 a month, I jumped on it. Problem is: I bricked this phone by trying to put on the Captivate's Touchwiz Calculator onto this device (because it is much better and I liked it) by following someones guide. It seemingly worked until I shutdown my phone and now it won't pass the android screen. It tries over and over but to no avail. I have found almost no blogs/threads on this phone at all or anything of actual use to me not only on xda but on androidcentral, etc. I found it very easy to put my Captivate in download mode and use odin flasher anytime I wanted to change the ROM I had on it even if it was bricked I could put a new clean install back on it. I can't seem to find anything that can help me with this phone, how to put it in download mode if possible? How to flash a new stock rom? Can't find a stock rom? I would GREATLY appreciate anyones advice or help to this very aggravating problem.
Sorry I can't help more, but what happens if you boot the phone whilst holding the back button or volume down button? That enters the hboot/fastboot menu on HTCs, where you can enter the recovery module and flash a ROM.
Well I tried both of the volume button and the back button but you saying that made me attempt pushing both of them at once with the power button. It worked!!!!!!!!!! Thank you, you helped a ton! You wouldn't perhaps know where to find the stock rom would you?
I saw this thread still open and wondered; Do you still need a stock rom?

[Q] I need help, Please?

Hi, I'm new to these threads. I have a problem with my phone that I need help with. I can't seem to find help any where. Okay, so here is my problem.
My girlfriend has a Samsung Galaxy S I500 (fascinate I guess) and earlier this week, she was looking on a website and the screen just went black. She tried to restart the phone and it went as normal then black again. When it was powered on, it would load like normal then when it was suppose to go to the home screen, it would just go black. I tried to fix it for her and ended up messing it up even more by re-partitioning it and installing the wrong firmwares or something:/ (im an iPhone guy). Now, i have tried and tried all week to find the files i need to restore her phone to 2.1 software which is what it was (i think). But obviously, megaupload.com is down and all the files i think i need are on there. I just need the files to get her phone back to stock. She got the phone from C Spire. Can anyone help, PLEASE? im getting so frustrated.
sounds like you need the stock ruu and need to flash it. I am fairly new to android and I had to do that on my HTC. Try googling for your phone's ruu file (from samsung) and then flash it.

[Solved] Repair a possible brick (Galaxy S 4G) (Bad Flash)

I've flashed quite a few androids with custom ROMs, all successful except one brick was beyond repair. Then my brother asked me to root and flash a custom ROM to his T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G (Model: T959V). So I gave it a shot. Rooting was successful, but trying to get Clockwork Recovery on the phone, it confused me and I definitely messed up. The screen is discolored like a bad tv reception. One picture is what it's currently stuck on, and the other is showing I can still load it into the yellow download screen. My question is, is this fixable? If so, how?

Problem solved thanks to stephen_w here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1405489 and chadster214 here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1183413. Problem solved with Odin 1.85. Give them thanks if you ran into this problem and these people helped you as well.
Glad that you could get things resolved! I hope that you enjoy your "new" phone, especially as you now know how to recover from things. You might want to look at heimdall as well, especially if you start playing with other custom ROMs and kernels.
When you have a chance, if you change the "[Q]" to "[solved]" or the like, people will easily be able to tell that there is an answer on the thread. Perhaps it will be the one they are looking for themselves!

[Completed] Please help :'( S4 Boot Loop

First Id like to say Id greatly appreciate any help hopefully someone can be kind enough to walk me through what to do. I wouldn't mind resetting everything as long as it works again.
Just yesterday I finally figured out how to root my phone with Odin and everything was going to well. I even got clockwork mod on there as well (Yes I'm noob). It booted up clockwork mod beautifully and then I wanted to install xposed so I can change that ugly lollipop colour theme. Its very hard on my eyes (I'm visually impaired).
So I went ahead and it said to download the xposed framework for lollipop so wasn't sure which one was thre right one for my phone so I downloaded all of them and tried installing each one in clokcowrk mod and of them failed except for the arm64 v21sdk
http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=3034811
It said success so I thought that was good and rebooted the phone... and then I got scared cause it was just sitting on that Samsung logo
I really need to fix it as my new iPad Air 2 just got ran over by a car and if my parents find out that I broke my phone...
Please.
