please let me start by apologizing if posting in wrong section or anything..i have a Samsung galaxy tab 2 7.0.(white) on 4.1.1..was reading a lil on this section(http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1887757) how to root galaxy tab..to be honest its a lil confusing to me,with Samsung keys, etc. I have rooted devices before with odin,so I know how odin works, looking for safest and easiest way to root..honestly love this tab and don't want to mess it up..thank you in advance...
This way works and more up to date.

I accidentally deleted the app "SU" (= superuser). Now my samsung galaxy s 1901 won't start up anymore. It can't past / it stays on the Ehndroix II screen. My laptop also doesn't recognize it anymore. Anybody knows how can get my phone working again?
Hi,
I can't find an S1901 Samsung device anywhere. Can you please verify the model number. Does it have another name too? Like Galaxy S5, Note.... Anything like that?
Thanks!

Thanks for your reply Darth. The model name is Galaxy S plus en and the number is GT-I9001. The start-up screen also shows the following information: 1. Cyanogen mod and 2. powered by Diablo's kernel.
i hope this is the right information for you.
Well, uninstalling SuperSU shouldn't... Normally... Cause the device to not boot. I can't find a similar thread on this issue, so I'd ask the experts who own your device, here...
>*Samsung Galaxy S I9000*>*Galaxy S I9000 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting*>*Galaxy S Plus I9001 Q&A
Good luck!
Also, if you can, just flashing the rom again should fix it. Or flash stock firmware with Odin. ?

Oke, i will do some research on how to flash the rom. Never done that. i bought it like this.
Thanks for that information!
Here is your device section,
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s-i9000
Guides and tutorials for just about everything are in the General and Q&A sections.
Again, if you need further help, use the thread I linked above. ?
Be sure to only use files for your model only. I9001.
Thanks for your help!!

Just joined this site today but had known about it since forever... Anyways the reason I have joined this site in the first place is that there are many people who are so waiting for an exploit, a way to root our Samsung Galaxy A7 s . Many sites including this one claim to have the binary thats able to install super su binary properly but this has been tried numorous times on the Samsung Galaxy A7 SM-A700FD ( Any os version [4.4.4, 5.0, 5.0.2] but none work. They simply corrupt the os and it needs to be flashed its stock firmware in order to boot up but fortunatly there is no data loss. The point is that why does this site claim to have the proper root file while it doesnt and the main question is WHY HASNT ANYBODY COME UP WITH AN EXPLOIT ALREADY? while the phones release after this one have their own root processes already( Samsung). Its just a sincire request from me and a lot of other people out there, that please xda help us and create a proper root process for the Samsung Galaxy A7 ( SM-A700FD) .

if the first method doesn't work you can try to head over here:
Miscellaneous Android Development ----->[Kernel/Root] Root for the SM-A700F LL
Hope that's help

Dear forum,
I am new here and i don't know if this is the right section of forum to post my question about how to extract data from damaged Samsung S5 (SM-G900F).
I used some software - " FoneLab for Android, EaseUS MobiSaver for Android, Wondershare Dr.Fone"
in download mode but without any success...
I attach photos of my S5 download mode....
Could you kindly advise how to extract data from it....

This is the wrong forum, normally you would have searched and read before posting in the Samsung S5 forum.
In the meantime if you need some help I can suggest you to see this video:
