[Morph] Smooth Black Bar [Enomther's Official ROM v1.7.1/Cyanogen 5.0.4.1]

This is a very simple METAMORPH THEME. It puts in a black status bar with Hero-style icons.
Also added:
Green highlights
Blacked out search bar (Made by Manup456)
Transparent notification shade
Green lights on power control widget
Changelog:
Added green highlights to GenieWidget
Lowered transparency on notification shade

Repaired GenieWidget so it no longer malfunctions on touch when only displaying news feed.
Added green highlights to the power control widget.
Changed the shade of green on widgets to match better.
This is NOT a regular theme. It is a Metamorph.
To use: download and install AndExplorer and Metamorph from the market. Both are available for free.
**PLEASE NOTE** After applying morphs, you will need to reapply your widgets. Metamorph has always been this way. They are not broken, they just need to be trashed and reapplied.

Yeah, just tried it as well, doesn't work with CyanMOD 5.0.

No this will NOT run with CyanogenMod. I tried it once yesterday as well and got some funky startup errors. I have all I need to port it over to CM, but that will have to wait until later this evening after work.

Very, nice, did not know that Meta morph had support for Metamorph.
Makes themeing much more rapid.

OK everyone, new link added to bottom of OP for CyanogenMod Morph.

Just installed the H icon looks a bit awkward to me but other than that it looks good.
Edit: Oh the H icon looks weird because it has a border around it. In the Modaco version I don't think it had that border around the 3G icon.

Theme looks classy. I also love the look of the stock N1 but this black bar looks so much nicer. I'm on CM5.0 beta-2.

AWESOME! thank you so much, this is def the most complete theme for froyo out there, even the pinch peak zoom in 3d gallery is blue! and the settings menu is colorized again you forogt to mention that one in the OP! please keep this up and do some more apps!

I like it. A lot. But there are two things that I cannot stand.
1: The blue bar on the top of the screen, right above (or on) the status bar
2: The low resolution of the pull down/push up tab on the status bar.
Keep up the great work!

Your notification bar doesn't line up right. There is a slight blue line above it.
Should also change launcher to match theme. But def a keeper

I was looking forward to this for Froyo! Nice work as usual!

Boot into recovery and flash the *.zip

Is anyone else getting reboots after installing this theme? I get to the lock screen and then it goes into a constant boot loop... I am using Paul's pre rooted Froyo update zip if that matters... Thanks.

nope installed it when he put it up, not a single reboot.
i applied it over Manups FROYOtang, and graybar mods
pauls root with cyanogens stock rooter.
cant wait for updates on this !

Update sent me into a boot loop - possibly because I got rid of the original launcher and am only running LauncherPro... Am going to try something one more time, and after that I may just pull and add items where they're needed to avoid the issue.

I'm hoping you don't mind, but I incorporated some of the stuff for froyo with your NexBLUEv6 - primarily the framework items. Like Ersdal and theone09, I'm not a bit fan of the blue line onthe top of the notbar, so removed that and also added a slightly altered version of the bottom notbar from v6. I also pulled the circles for the lock screen and I think they look way better than either v6 or this default Froyo version with combination of images.
I'm still not %100 on the notification bar as a whole, but I think if the text can be changed to a brighter color the background can go back to black and it will be nice.
I'm looking forward to the phone app skinned through...

curiously any one know how to change the clock font to white from black?

The current FroYo ROMs aren't de-odexed yet so there's no way to change the clock font color.

This was requested by several people and I thought I would whip it up for them and anyone else that just wanted a stock look taskbar-wise with color menus underneath it all I have also included a version with the Espresso Rosie!!! Simply flash over your current ROM....either Damage Control 3.2.3 or Fresh 1.0.1 or OMJ 1.8
This works all ALL Roms built from the latest OTA RUU!!!

I am running the Sapphire Theme at the moment. If I flash this over the top will I keep the sapphire theme with the color menus? or will it revert to stock with color menus?

Yes... if you flash this over Sapphire, it will give you a stock look with color menus.

but it also changes alot of the icons.people,messages,voicemail etc.do you have it where it just adds the color and leaves the stock icons like in your screen shot

Yes, they are the same ones from Aloysius...as quite a few apps have menus in them that have been changed and I just took them from Aloy, and did not switch each one out as I did not see that as the requst. The request was stock taskbar and color menus

Works for my tester.....hmmm. You should go to the market and buy switchpro anyhow

When your in messages, and u hit the menu button, I have all the nice colored icons u made, but the delete trashcan is solid gray. Looks out of place, next to the colored icons. Maybe I did something wrong I dunno. Just seemed odd.

Thanks alot guys, this was such a pain, and im finding some problems now that ihtfp69 warned me about. each app has its own thing, like in phone if you like go to delete a contact the list shows up white on white. any help to fix this would be great as im learning as i go!

does this theme remove the toggles in the drop down menu? I tried flashing the blue theme and it took them all away. so i had to flash back. Toggles are more important than the color to me. Thanks for this SR3.5 is great.

Sorry yes, you should be able to metamorph it back after applying this theme

I have been fighting the black text to white for a while now. Were there alot of xml's that you had to change? I tried to do some tutorials that were written for ASOP roms, but it was a no go.

beyond believe, to get it to theme right. there is only one clash right now that I can't seem to figure out and hoping someone can help

I followed the steps in this thread, but it didn't seem to work with Sense. Is this anywhere close to what you did? You might be able to PM thebowers if you are stuck or some of the other guys on this thread.

OK so I flashed this theme and the battery icon was completely missing. There was none at all, just a gap where it used to be. I have no luck with these themes. Loved the color scheme tho, what did i do wrong?

Same here....battery was missing. Used mm to get my white circle battery back though and now I'm happy
....also found that in launcherpro, long press on homescreen has a list that is black text in black background (like the wallpaper bug).
Not a big deal, I like the theme
Did a nandroid, but is there any other way to easily revert to stock?

crap sorry guys its cos i use the stock 0/20/40/60/80/100% battery mod I forgot that most use the 1-100%. its a simple edit in an xml file I will fix tomrorow. now im trying to fix that pesky black on black text and updating all the images to a be more white

1. Move file somewhere on your sd card
2. Launch the MIUI File Explorer app and find the file and click on it then apply theme..
3. Please note this will take awhile to load but it will. I have done it many many times.

Some Icons in Settings are not changed and original.
When all Icons replaced its the best.

I love your theme on miui, its fantastic, but I have some issues if fixed would make this theme awesome, the zoom button (maximum0 found in browser is stretched, and not aligned correctly which sucks and there is the issue with the search bar, which widget is stretched and also fatter when you click on it also when you press menu in search theres some funky icon business in the left hand corner...love the theme but if these bugs are fixed I'll love this theme mor....thanks for all the hard work

Got it. My issue is a bit different. The status bar at the top in the photos at the beginning of the thread have a blue signal strength meter as well as blue wi-fi. Mine are still green. Also, the sms/txt section appears with blue bubbles on a bluish gray background. Mine are still the original yellow/grey.
I have noticed that some of the menu buttons are unreadable (appear to be black on black). I haven't started identifying them yet.

Yea a couple weeks ago alot of things changed in miui and all the themes had to change to become compatible. That being said I love this theme so please try to update it. Keep up the good work Mr.DSL
