If Oppo doesn't Provide the Unlocking Code or Support Fastboot Binaries, then it would only depend on some Tricks or Any Loopholes that would do the same.
Lets take the Eg. Of Asus Zenfone Max Pro M1 , it has got bootloader unlocked and within a month Custom Roms have started to come up.
Now lets take the Other Eg. Motorola Droid Turbo (Int. Version of Moto Turbo which i was using in 2015) it doesnt have Unlockable bootloader , but within 1 year developers have successfully Unlocked the Phone!
And another, Droid Turbo 2 (Int. Version Of Moto X Force which im using now) it also had unlockable bootloader , and its going to be 2years but till now People are unsuccessful for getting Root/Unlocking due to the fix in Loophole.
So if Oppo is Not Providing the Unlocking Code or It doesn't Support Unlocking (as far as i know now) its not to be correct to assume it would get rooted/unlocked but can only hope for good.
Realme 1 has mediatek P60 AI chipset. Also Android 8 doesn't support AI feature but Android 9 (Android P) does. ColorOs 5 is supported and powered of AI feature like Battery, Camera, etc. Maybe Company push stock Android. But isn't bad ColorOS.

I think its never gonna happen! Its like Same, Mi rolling out Stock Android 8.0 insted of MIUI 10 or Honor rolling Stock Android 8.1 insted of EMUI!
I didnt used colorOS or any oppo phone before but MIUI,EMUI,UX5.0,Touchwizz... and i didnt keep up with them especially with MIUI and EMUI!
I keep Moto as my primary device (since 2013) due to stock android and simple interface.
ColorOS wouldn't be the deal breaker for the most but for some (like me) its making me think twice before buying

The phone is running on 8.1 Oreo, that means it has project treble support, so there will be no issues in unlocking the bootloader and developing a rom for the Realme 1. Just have a little patience.

Project treble means to have separate Vendor partition , so that GSI can be boot without compiling a seperate rom with a specific vendor tree. But it dosent mean treble=unlocking

Yeah, but it's a little less difficult for the developers to unlock the phone. I think you know that starting with Android 8.x (Oreo), Google separated the Vendor and Manufacturer. That means the OS can be updated without having to touch the vendor implementation. Before project treble, The Vendors have to wait for the Unlock Code from the manufacturer which was very lengthy and delaying process, at least project treble solves this issue.

Only Manufacturers signed images can be flashed with locked bootloader , so if you are planning to boot a LOS GSI you will need a Unlocked bootloader , and by no way you can sign a image as same as manufacturer so jt will fail, as far as unlocking is concerned its in the hand of oppo only bcoz i heard that oppo deleted the fastboot binaries of the phone and to unlock the bootloader ,there must be a loophole or some think which can be exploited otherwise it would suffer the same fate as droid turbo 2. In future what happens i/we dont know but till now its correct to assume that phone is unlockable bcoz oppo is not supporting bootloader unlocking
Here, look at this,
There's an option to allow permissions for unlocking Bootloader, so i think in future maybe Oppo will allow modifications.

This option will be there on all devices even on Droid Turbo 2 , and LG phones which i have used and are not unlockable.
Even CM12.1,13 has that for no reason.
You can turn it on off on off...

Realme 2 has launched with snapdragon 450 and a good compitetor with redmi 5 (3+32) and any one know about unlocking bootloader of realme 2, will they support unlocking bootloader?
Most probably, no. But lets see, it has SD soc right now and both asus and xiaomi are providing bootloader to be unlockable.

May be yes
No. Realme 2 has no fastboot binaries even. Hence, though it has settings to OEM unlock, but apparently you can't flash anything.
Realme 2 will not get support in unlock bootloader..as per realme 2 executive
This is what thier response to me when I contacted them on mail about bootloader unlocking
"Thank you for writing to Realme Customer Service regarding Rooting of the device inquiry.
We would like to bring to your notice that it is not advisable for users to root the device as this will void the warranty of the product. This is in line with the terms and conditions mentioned in our warranty card provided with every product at the time of sale. In this case, the user has to bear the expenses of any repair that the phone may need in the future.
Moreover, we have taken your feedback and shared the same with the concerned team so that they can look into your suggestions.
In case of any further suggestion/inquiry, you can also contact us by calling on our toll-free number 1800-102-2777 from Monday to Sunday, 0900 AM to 0700 PM or you can also reply back to us on the same email."
I also got the same mail, i think they provide a method to unlock the bootloader if they get many mails regarding the unlocking of bootloader. If u guys want the developement of realme 2 please send a mail to realme care regarding this.

Oppo-RealMe = Won't allow you to unlock your bootloader!
Best Specs killed by bad OEM+OS!
One of the worst OS I have ever used. Never buying any Oppo family device again. Neitheerthe ROM has any theme manager, nor can we install using its apk from other handsetd. Moreover, we cant hide the Nav bar using adb. No root, no fastboot binaries, hence no custom ROMs. Its firmware has such an extension (*.ofp) which cannot be extracted except the latest version of UFI/Miracle box, which needs you to buy a new hardware not available in my country(wanted to extract boor.img). Still phone has OEM unlock settings under developer options. This is worse than even the latest iphone(which too has nothing and the high price is just for their logo).
Would never recommend anyone to buy any handset having ColorOS ROM.
They will allow to unlock the bootloader as the ceo said they will soon upgrade the ui and will launch there own color os and will also help developer.

Hello everyone!
Today I checked out again how to unlock the bootloader of my Nokia 6.1 2018, I found a video on YouTube that explains that it is enough to activate the developer mode, deactivate it and re-enable it again to unlock the OEM button.
That said, since the discovery is not mine and I just wanted to share this, I put the name of the video and channel on it, since I can't share the link and the video:
Unlock OEM on Nokia 6.1 Plus | New Trick | BUTTON UNBLOCKED | HOW?
PiXinCreate
But it won't unlock the bootloader. It only "Allow the bootloader to be unlocked".

That's a dummy toggle which was never of use and never will be. Even when you enable it, the fastboot reports 0 for the
Code:
fastboot flashing get_unlock_ability
meaning that the bootloader cannot be unlocked.
The only way to unlock it still is by using the paid methods.
paid method?

are there any updates since 2019? I was able to unlock the OEM button. What would you suggest as next steps to unlock the bootloader?
Thanks in advance.

I want to unlock the bootloader of my Honor 6x ..
Still is it possible or not?
If yes someone please guide me..
Yes, It is possible.
I unlocked bootloader of my phone on 06.06.2020. Huawei website doesn't work but dc_unlock2 tool works but tou have to buy credits for it from a play store app of it. There are many good youtube vides explaining that.
The video I watched to unlock is from a channel called Techipse video- How To Unlock Bootloader Of Any Huawei Honor Phones 2019 || ?% Working
Hope it helps.
Since i bought the P30pro the first what i made was take a look into XDA and searching for ROMs and Kernel Stuff, but what is the reason there is not only one Rom ? Is it the Fastboot Mode ?
Because Huawei doesn't allow us to unlock bootloaders. The worse company it's Huawei, too bad that they're making great devices, but customer support it's 0.
Huawei doesnt allow their bootloaders to be unlocked, they stopped giving out bootloader codes when they release EMUI 9
maybe because the chinese party doesn't want to lose the tracking code embedded in the official rom of Huawei devices
Many users waiting for a hack to do it.
Awesome device I love it all year's i use it already. One if the best phones i ever used.
But without custom stuff it feels always old :/
Maybe I have to learn coding and Hack the bootloader on my own
