I've somehow managed to delete the video on my phone but would love to have it. Anyone have any backups? Or any ways to have it restored to the phone? Looked up on google without any luck.

I changed the file permissions so it can be dowoaded. I will be deleting it from my Google Drive tomorrow so get it while you can.
Edit:, it has now been deleted from my Google Drive. If anyone needs it, shoot me a message with your email address and I'll send it to you.

Originally you should've find in the gallery. But once you've unlocked your device it's gonna be deleted.

Is this the original one? Even though it's 1440p, it's at 9.0Mb/s bitrate, and seems to be not as clear as I remember the original one to be.
Can anyone with the original video confirm if it's at the same bitrate @ 24fps?

Yes it is the original taken directly from phone, and shared to my Google drive. I made no alterations to it and did not compress it. I just got a new OnePlus 7 Pro and they are identical. Both are clear.

Shoot Me came out with an update a couple of days ago that brought screencasting. But only at 3, 5, and 10 frames per second.
I then saw Amon RA post a YouTube video of him screencasting at 30 fps.
I wanted it, so I baksmali'd the app and started poking around and found it was an easy mod.
I'm including the modded version I'm using which screencasts at 20, 30, and 40 fps. I found that the higher fps value, the crappier the quality video you got.
Yes, even at 9001 frames per second.

This mod completely useless - I've tried it back in January and found that it doesn't actually offer any benefit over the stock app. It doesn't change any fps when the file is generated - it still remains 10fps or w/e. Video looks exactly the same as the stock app.
Close this thread - it's confusing and pointless. The author of the fix and I talked on Twitter and reached this confusion.

I second that. I feel really stupid but i cant figure that part out untill i saw this was an Evo thread. Other websites say to press the top right icon and select continuous...but I do not have that option. Just option to activate the screen shot...shake, shout, and light. Seen the screen shots. Just doesn't exist on my phone running this app. Mod or Original.

Also would be surprised if VLC couldn't be at least sideloaded, but Kodi works awesomely, so I'd suggest that instead. Added bonus, it's prettier...
A YouTube app that doesn't start stuttering after a while. And one that stops trying to force me to watch suggested videos.

Look at the above photo and you will find the WWE icon on the LeanBack Launcher above the Kodi icon!
Please follow the instructions at the download link, the WWE app comes in a package.
Retroarch w/ a leanback icon would be great.
1. Popcorn time kinda works with a air mouse.... The movies crash every time but the tv shows play. It would definitely be nice if it was adapted to the tv interface.
2. Any good quality screen recorder would be great.
3. Xbox music... Just because I have a subscription.

Hello,
I have figured out a way to play Amazon Prime Video on our players. I have only tested it using a device that has 5.x installed. That device will also need to be rooted so that you can enable the cast screen option. Then install screen enable: http://forum.xda-developers.com/har...experimental-enable-mirroring-device-t2812193 This will allow all tablet content including games.

You can sideload it but the app in general does not work good to begin with.

At the download link are all the instructions, the app comes in a package, it's best to read the instruction first.

I would say so, it looks like the large black dot is the hour & the smaller dot is the minutes.
I loved the camera surround shot mode on my note phones, but can't seem to find it or where to DL it for the S8+. If I recall correctly it had to be downloaded with the note phones.
Am I missing something, or doesn't it exist yet? It was cool shooting surround shots and then viewing them with the Gear VR.

As far as I can tell the mode doesn't exist for download yet. I can see other modes to DL, just not surround shot.
Weird it's in mine. I had it in my s7 Edge and Samsung restore put it in for me automatically.

Its probably because you did a restore. I just checked and there is no surround pro option to download

Use the Galaxy Apps app to download "Surround shot". You can also get:
Rear-cam selfie
Beauty face
Sports shot
Dual camera
and a ton of other Samsung and 3rd party apps and plug-ins.

Thank you, Captain! Your post gave me a clue.
Like you I also had it installed on my previous phone, a Note 5. But like I said, the option to down load it is not presented for my S8+ for some reason. Even searching for "Surround Shot" didn't work.
However, thanks to your clue I was able to open the "Galaxy Apps" app and then at the top of that app next to the search bar there are three little dots. I tapped the dots, selected "My Apps", "All", and then I was able to see all of the Samsung Apps which I have ever DL'd onto any of my previous Samsung phones. All I had to do was download "Surround Shot". Nice!

Can you take a SS since I don't see it in my Galaxy App store. I got all the ones you listed but Surround shot.

I had it on my S6E and when I wanted to install it on my Note 7 I couldn't find it in Galaxy Apps or anywhere. I did a search yesterday to install it on my S8+ since I have a Gear VR and it still wasn't there.
Doing the above gave me back Surround Shots.
It shows up for me as "Virtual shot". I didn't have to download anything extra.

Thank you for the code. In return I'll give you some initial feedback. Please forgive me if it is a little bit harsh - Hope I am constructive enough.
This app is a novelty and should not be used outside of the initial cool factor to show friends. Why do I think so? Because:
1) No back button support - In 2019, really? I was reminded of time when crappy iOS ports were coming to android as is. No optimization or anything.
2) Settings page is empty - Try renaming it to "Info" or "About" or something. Having 2 links there does not count as "Settings".
3) No equalizer (or I couldn't find it) - Although you advertise you have it. Having a gif running that looks like a beat visualizer when you play a song does not mean that it is an actual equalizer.
IMO you should replace the gif with an actual beat visualizer and add an actual equalizer settings.
4) Closing app will nag you to rate the application every time - Looks like you forgot to program the app to remember that the user already rated the app and to stop showing this annoying message.
5) No notification controller for pausing or resuming songs - For a music player in 2019 it is unacceptable.
Those are the critical points from the top of my head.
The good: App looks amazing. High five to the designer :good:

external storage should be accessible weird.... which android version and device are you using? I unfortanetely dont have enough actual devices to test everything.
