In the light of the slimming down of ZenUI I'd like to know if the DT2W wake feature still exists.
Asus own support wasn't very helpful at all.
Kind regards

They showed DT2W in their launch presentation so it should be there.
Yes...
They demonstrated it during launch event...
I'm running a near-stock (Oreo) Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1......the stock ROM on this baby has no zen ui elements, however dt2w / dt2s iand some asus gestures are baked in. Hopefully same is in the 6.

Lockscreen toggle allows you to enable/disable the lockscreen ENTIRELY (unlocking takes you straight into the OS)
Screen timeout toggle lets you cycle through various screen timeout values :good:

Thanks for this, I'll look into incorporating it into my ROM
So this removes the lockscreen security upon toggle?

Yes, essentially it allows you to go back and forth between your current lock and having lock screen set to "none"

Hello guys,
Solution below!
Today, while cycling, my phone switched on again, probably through the double-tap to wake function. Unfortunately something got changed in my settings which caused the lockscreen to change. While I first had the standard CM11S lockscreen, I now have the standard Android lockscreen. Where in the settings can I revert these changes? I can't seem to find it.

Solution:
1. Go to Settings
2. Lock screen
3. Check Custom lock screen
4. Go back to Settings
5. Themes
6. Lock screen wallpapers
7. Select your wallpaper
Thanks a lot!

Thanks a lot!! I don't know if this was posted an hour ago or not, but I just found out that it's the 'Custom Lockscreen' setting that got me back to the default CM11S lockscreen
Hi
I'm loving the Evolution X rom and I really like the Pixel experience this gives me on my Oneplus 6T. I like the app animations with the pixel launcher / recents.
However the back gesture on Android 10 is awful. It is really unreliable whether it actually goe back, or opens thehamburgere menu or swipes something on screen. I've tried changing all the options in the ROM and it is just bordering on unusuable. The OnePLus gestures were much better.
I tried Fluid Navigation Gestures, but this fully replaces the Android 10 gesture system compeltely and means you lose the smooth app closing animation and the app switching animations.
So here's my question: Is there a way I can just add some additional gesture areas without switching the entire gesture system? So basically leave the regular gesture system in place, but just add a couple of 'swipe up to go back' areas like Oneplus?

rom wishlist:
- active-edge squeeze support and customization (open any app)
- status bar slide gesture to control brightness
- nav-bar button customizations/gestures
(long press back to kill app; double-tap home to open app; long-press home to clear all notifications)
- changing the number of rows/columns in the quick-setting tiles
- battery level bar across statusbar
- pure AMOLED black theme
This is what I want for Christmas. It's the birthday of Jesus. C'mon!
i think you are asking in the wrong spot. its best to find a rom you like or has some of those features and then ask the developers to add them. As a maintainer we dont really add features unless they are already baked in. (unless its unofficial). But as i just broke my oneplus 7 pro and im back on my sargo, i am intrested to see what roms are wished for since ill be doing a bring up for sargo now

This is serious stuff man.
Still searching....
This morning I updated my POCO X3 Poro to MIUI Global 13.0.3 Stable and found a small green indicator (please refer to the attached screenshot) at the top-left corner of the lock screen which will disappear after unlocking. Does anyone know what is this? Can I get rid of it? Thank you.
Have a nice day.
SLo

If your update is with android 12 then this is a new feature, google has added this to let you know when your camera is being used or not. It has the same for microphone as well.

Not what i know off. On Samsung it cannot be removed. Unless you disable access to the camera and microphone permanent. Then it wont show, but on Samsung it shows full icon for a short time and then it turns into a small green dot.
it's MiuiBiometric a new app
