Just wondering if anyone who has this phone purchased from the oneplus site and using it with T-Mobile if you are able to use tmobiles wifi calling? Or do you need to buy it through TMobile to access that?

you can use wifi calling
Wifi Calling and VoLTE works no problem with T-Mobile on 7 Pro!

i have a question i just bought a htc inspire and was wondering if i get it unlocked would it work correctly on t mobile or simple mobile i heard the band is different but if it is att just like the iphones once it is unlocked everything should work fine can anyone help me answer that queston?
phone will work but not 3g, you will get edge instead. simple mobile has same band as tmobile for 3g

Yes, EDGE is 2G.

2g with full internet pages is pretty slow though, takes forever to load anything, sending email and stuff like that should be fine but u can scratch watching youtube videos without waiting awhile
ok i have a samsung galaxy s at&t phone will the inspire work the same as the galaxy s?
also is the galaxy s at&t pnone on the same band as the htc inspire?

please help if you can. i was thinking about getting htc inspire 4g from radio shack and would like to use simple mobile as my carrier. i understand that the phone has to be unlocked and GSM. my question is once it's unlocked do i need to change the access name point(apn) on the phone in order to use the internet?

Any AT&T phone on T-Mobile service will run on edge, doesn't matter which phone you use.

Yes you do have to change the apn but it tells you step by step on the website here: Simple Mobile Support .

I dont think they throttle it. i havent noticed any change.

Wifi calling is not present in the Taiwan version of the phone.
Hey John, have you been using the phone on Tmobile in SF? How has your service been? I'm thinking about picking up a U11+ too and live in SF but I'm worried about the lack of band 2.

Hey. Sorry for the delay.
LTE Band 4 works just fine in SF. I am not impacted at all.
Using the LTE Discovery app, my Pixel XL also rides on band 4 so I am getting the same thing on the HTC U11+.

I'm interested in this one as well. I wonder if the US U11 Rom, which does have those features could be ported over since they are so similar.

Everything seems to be there. I'm somewhat surprised it doesn't function out of the box.
Where do you set Wifi Calling on this device? I can't seem to find it.

What version of the 8 are you using, unlocked or Verizon, and what carrier are you using it on? I'm assuming you're using an unlocked model purchased from OP on Verizon. If that's the case, you can't get wifi calling at this time unless you do it through an app like Google Voice.
I have an original OP8 purchased from OnePlus in the UK. So, I am on Vodafone.

I'm in Massachusetts using an IN2015 on T-Mobile and just verified that VoLTE and VoWiFi are working fine for me.

A little heads up though to get anything other than WiFi working I did have to go into the SIM settings and turn on mobile data as well as enable VoLTE and VoWiFi, not sure if that was related to activating it on release day or because it's the global model on T-Mobile (didn't really look into it since it was just flipping 3 settings then everything just worked).

I have the TMobile model and can't find the volte and vowifi settings anywhere?? I'm sure they're enabled but I want to make sure
anyone have working wifi calling with TMO-US? i assume not, due to it not being officially supported, but want to double check.

Hello there. I've recently purchased the US version since I live in USA but I noticed wifi calling doesn't work on mine and I couldn't find a way to enable it. I have not called T-Mobile yet but I will eventually. I'll give an update later.
Have you had any luck with it?

i havent gotten it yet, since i use wifi calling a lot at home due to not the greatest signal. if it doesnt support, then i might have to pass, which is a shame since its such a nice phone otherwise.
