Z3 Marshmallow Beta - Adoptable Storage Disabled by Sony?

Please, someone help me understand if it is true or not.
For those who is trying beta Marshmallow (not concept), is that true that Adoptable Storage (Internal Storage) was disabled by Sony?

There is adoptable storage.
For me it is disabled. I have not been able to activate it either using ADB commands...

There is no adoptable storage for the z3 on marshmallow. Sony in there wisdom have decided we don't need it. However, the current android n preview does have adoptable storage al be it a little buggy.

Yes, tested Android N and adoptable storage, but it lost my SD twice in 2 days and and a factory reset was needed to get it working again.

Samsung SM-J500Y on Android 6.0.1

Hi all,
I have a Samsung Galaxy J5 running android 6.0.1. build number MMB29M.J500YXXU1BQG1 . However this only has 8GB and I am struggling with space to install even the essential apps. How can I make the SD card as an internal storage so i can install apps on it? I don't find a built in option to choose the SD card as an internal . The only option is to use it as an external storage. Can someone help me on this .
Will rooting solve my problem ? If so what software is recommended for rooting?
Thanks in advance

Adoptable Storage

Is there any good and stable custom ROM for J710MN with adoptable storage support?
Edit 1: oh, and also Magisk compatible so I can keep playing pokemon go

Internal memory always full

Hi,
my Z3's internal memory is always full... 16 GB are surely not enough. Problem is, there are some apps that store data in the internal memory and they have no setting to change this. I already deleted all apps which were dispensable and moved all possible apps to sd card, using system menu.
Does anyone have an idea how to solve this? I rooted my Z3 this way: https://forum.xda-developers.com/z3/general/recovery-root-mm-575-291-lb-t3435214
And I have Xposed installed. Unfortunately its module XInternalSD does not help in this respect though.
Is it for example possible to permanently mount folders on sd card as internal folders? Manually or with some tool?
Thank you
Look here under "further hints" to get an idea what you can do about that.

So you think that an SD card partly formatted as adoptable storage would be the solution?
Do you know if this will work with stock Android 6.0.1?

Not exactly sure, haven't used a stock based ROM since years. But that feature was introduced with Android 6, so it might work. As a LineageOS developer, I recommend switching to an Lineage ROM (or any derivative thereof) of course.
Here is an approach using symlinks. Looks quite good. https://github.com/signalapp/Signal-Android/pull/9015#issuecomment-671271504

Enable Android "adoptable storage" if not provided by manufacturer?

My Lenovo M10 TB-X505F tablet has Android 10 but (unless I'm just looking in the wrong place) Lenovo has not enabled adoptable storage. Is there any way to enable adoptable storage, short of installing a different ROM that has it enabled? I haven't rooted the device yet, but would be happy to do so if it would provide adoptable storage. (I'd even be happy to install an alternative rom, but as far as I can tell there haven't been any developed for this device.)
