Have you tried to reset the network settings and APN?

maybe you australia sim card 4G has not been activate? try to go to operator service center to find the solution

My fredin went to vietnam and i told him to by an Galaxy s3 from veitnam.so my question is that i will have any issue in using it in India?i know it could be locked...if it is locked and i do it unlocked then i can use Internet etc? any network band issue i can have? please pass your advice.

If it has a Simlock you need a Sim from that provider to use with or else you can't call someone and they can't call you.
If you Unlocked it, you can simply use any Sim card from every country, But you need to sim unlock it.

I have a galaxy s7 I made it root and it did not work the application does not recognize that root my phone company is sprint the model is sm-g930p and it shut off the LTE connection and I needed q I got the data APN2 INTERNET LTE and APN2 INTERNET eHRPD. Greetings and welcome to assist. Do you have a 4g/lte enabled sim card ? Also in network settings make sure lte is enabled in prefered network connection
