Yes great update on camera improvement
So the chinese version even gets a update after the big 9.1 update and people with the international version are left behind with 9.0 ... Ridiculous
AL00 here with the latest update about 30 hours ago.
Needed that update for the camera. 4k was pretty bad. Better now. I just want home screen to rotate to landscape stock launch. My M10P does it . Come on Huawei
I just got it. I opened the app HiCare and hit the update button, and the update appeared
I have the AL00 version and I still dont have it.

I just got OTA
Hey everyone I just got the OTA update for EMUI 5.0. I don't want to install it yet until I know I can get TWRP back. Do you guys know if the update will remove TWRP? If the update does remove TWRP can I reinstall it using adb and fastboot? Also does Xposed work on nougat yet? Sorry for all of the questions I'm back on android after two years on Windows 10 Mobile and I'm a little out of the loop for a lot of this stuff. Thanks.

Hi,
Does anyone know what the current UK firmware release version is?
I'm on B182 but think there may be others in the UK on something more recent.
If you have something more recent, how did you get the update?
Thanks.

Yes. But no. Hwota lets you install any update, or downgrade. I would still be at B138 if it wasn't for that.
My Mate 9 is from Germany and I'm in Sweden, it seems I must use a German sim to get OTA.

This one https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-mate-9-flash-update-package-t3593108
It requires to unlock bootloader and you can only flash Full firmware, not OTA updates.
Also it seems Android Pay doesn't want to work in recent builds if they are uncertified (which they are until Huawei approves them)
Phone is rebranded, bootloader locked all standard..
Any ideas

Not at all. I used the force update method, which requires you to unlock BL but it's free. (bought my Mate 9 from Germany, live in Sweden. Huawei has never approved a single update for me)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mate-9/how-to/guide-mate-9-flash-update-package-t3593108
Firmware Finder is showing MHA-L29C432B362 (8.0.0.362) FullOTA-MF for my Mate 9. Update is not showing up under "System Update" or in HiCare.
Question, is it ok to install from Firmware Finder or does that has any influence on further OTA updates from Huawei?
Thanks

I know, the Huawei update system is goofy. All the devices are the same, so from a hardware standpoint any Mate 9 firmware should be allowed. Huawei should let the users decide what they want to flash. Yes, your average user should just get the standard updates but there should be an option like unlocking Developer Settings and clicking a switch "Allow any firmware".
Which firmware are you running at the moment? I have 360 and the 361 and 362 don't seem to have any real improvements other than some security updates and improved WiFi.

Right, same here, don't get it.
has been the same with my mate 9 ever since I bought it (on release). Huawei updates are kinda strange to put it mildy. and I don't want to get bothered with unlocked bootloaders and updates through all kind of alternative update servers and such. it is what it is, phone is running ok so we have to be patient.
Same boat. Also rebranded.
Actually, I was about to go down the flashing rabbit hole, but I saw this post and I think I'll wait one more month.
how working?
Was on the chat with Huawei today. Last devices should not receive the update later than 23. February.
