I have a Google Pixel 3 XL that my son tried to root (without my consent or knowledge). Now the phone is stuck in an unlocked bootloader. I do not know enough about it to fix this issue on my own. I have contacted many local cellphone repair places but none of them will even look at the phone since there is a possibility of it being corrupt. Can someone PLEASE walk me through getting this fixed? I'll need step by step help from start to finish. I'm not very familiar with "kernels" and other android jargon so any help I get, please put it in terms that I can understand.

Hi guys, I've googled high and low and I can't seem to find anything that I a)understand or b) feel is relevant to my situation.
I bought a HTC on ebay, it arrived, I put my sim in and realised it was rooted. The phone doesn’t work on my network, I knew this when I bought it so I bought an unlock code but due to the root, I can’t seem to enter it, it just says no sim inserted.
Ideally I’d like to remove the root, I’m not a technophobe and learn pretty quickly, but I just don’t understand all these different versions of firmware etc.
I followed the unlockr guide and found out my CID is VODAP001 but the main-version is blank so I don’t know which roms or what have you to download.
I’d be happy leaving the rooting as it is if I could enter my unlock code, but I can’t figure out how to do this either. Is anyone able to help me? I don’t know what’s been done to the phone, the seller is ignoring my messages, I can’t return the phone as I (stupidly) missed the description where it stated the phone is rooted.
If it helps, it says im using cyanogenmod version 13.0.201xxxx and I've seen TWRP when booting to recovery mode etc. I've downloaded a few files, used an all in one mod or something from hasoon but as yet, the file system is unchanged.
I've seen something called sunshine which apparently unlocks to any network but as I've just forked out £100+ for the phone, I don't have the £25 the guides say it charges to unlock
Thank you in advance.

Hello everybody, I'm new to the forum. I would like to expose you to my problem with the hope that someone can help me and solve it. In May, buying a XIAOMI MI MIX 2, (I am the first ownwr), no brand. After a few days of testing I consider myself quite satisfied with regards to performance except for the photographic sector, so I decide to install the TWRP following the procedure that first obliges to unlock the bootloader to install it, I follow step by step the XIAOMI guide but at a certain point tells me that the number for which I requested the release is associated with another account, I try and try again unnecessarily, all useless. Among other things, I do not know how to disable the account used for registration on the XIAOMI suto. Contact also XIAOMI but nothing, no answer. I need the unlocked phone to be able, tomorrow, to have root permissions and anything else. I thank in advance those who will give me suggestions to come to terms with it.
You can just use a different phone number (and a new account) to apply for unlocking permissions
I have an LG Stylo 5X model LM-Q720TS and have had problems finding information on unlocking the bootloader. This will be the first root I have never rooted a phone before and really want to do this to my phone just to customize it and make it more secure. I also wanted to install pen testing software on it as well.
Anyway does anyone know of a site that can help me with the logistics of getting it done? I already have a full course on rooting android phones from Udemy and it was very informative on how to do it. I just don't have information on unlocking the bootloader for my phone I am sure I can get twrp for my phone if I can get it unlocked. So please if anyone can point me in the right direction I would appreciate it. Also, any links that lead me to useful software that can help facilitate this process would be great. I don't want to do this using on click rooting apps I want to do this manually this is a learning experience for e as well and I want to get good at this.

I bought a second-hand galaxy S10e that was advertised as being stuck on a boot loop. I fixed the boot loop by flashing with a stock firmware, but was greeted with an frp lock that I triggered in the process. I contacted the seller about it, but he said he bought it second hand himself and has no way of contacting the original owner. I've tried a couple things and thought this through, and I decided to ask here whether I missed anything.
First, is it possible to read the google email associated with the frp lock from the device in order to contact the last logged in owner? that would make this a lot easier if I could ask them to unlock it for me.
I assume this isn't possible, since I couldn't find anything about it. what are my other options? while recovering from the boot loop, I flashed a very recent firmware, so all of the 'frp bypass' tricks I see advertised don't work. I also wasn't able to flash a combination file.
Does anyone have any experience with this, and any ideas I could still try? Bought the phone for my wife, and I'd hate to see her angry :|

Can you elaborate on how you achieved this? So I and others can follow the procedure too?
I've seen on another thread that you can call version and say your a developer and they will give you access to oem unlocking is this true does it still work I really want to root my pixel 4a btw if you need to prove proof you are a developer my dad is one and he said that he would help me out if needed
You dont need any outside help to unlock the bootloader on your phone. You'll find the guides on this forum if you search for it. It takes about 2 minutes to unlock the bootloader on your own.
Where is that guide also are you sure because it's version
