OnePlus 6 records really noisy videos at night be it at 1080p 30fps or 60fps. Compared to Poco F1 the videos are horrible on OP6 just too dark and noisy.
Any solution for recording 60fps videos with less noise?

Can you give the link for the specific Gcam.
Because every Gcam I've tried just show 60fps option and doesn't record in 60fps at all.

Not that I can find so far, that's one part of the OPO that disappointed me a little. I used to record in full 1080p 60fps in everything with my previous phones, just looks so much better. Here's hoping a software update will allow it.
Maybe we just need another app?
I'm looking for the same thing... the hardware is powerful enough

Did you not read the article? With the app in question, it records at 3264×1836 (about 6mp) then upscales it to 3840×2160. Not true UHD/4K, of course. Recording is not 4K, but playback, technically speaking, is.
Still the quality resembles a 4k video

Your friends are never going to believe what you did. The only way to prove it to them is with that video you took. Rate this thread to express how videos shot on the OnePlus 5 come out. A higher rating indicates that videos are smooth (and not choppy) and that auto-focus works very well, and that the camera adjusts quickly to different lighting conditions while recording.

What do you guys say on 4K EIS? For me it's not that good as 1080p30FPS one also did they add EIS to 60FPS 1080p?

I think EIS for 60fps 1080p has already been there as I'm on 4.6.6 and I do have EIS everywhere apart from 4k

From what i can tell, there doesn't seem to be any EIS on 1080p 60 fps, but 1080p 30 fps and 4K has it

I think so, the 4k eis footage looks spectacular. 1080/60 has tons of jitters.

But I don't think 60 fps has ever had Image Stabilization. Atleast not on my device, because I remember testing out how good the image stabilization was on 1080p 60fps and thought to myself that it was absolute ****, only to find out later that it had amazing EIS on 1080p 30 fps

funny you say that I just updated to 4.6.7 and 1080p 60fps has far better EIS than any other mode like it did on previous versions of OOS

Hmm... I just have a hard time seeing why there wouldn't be any EIS on 1080p 60 fps for me then, because clearly it is a software-wise, and i am running the latest update. Could you maybe provide me 3 videos. One from 1080p 30 fps, 1080p 60 fps and 4k? Only if you want to of course.

Okay good! Less worried then But you sure did sound convincing my friend!
I will provide it today. I'm curious personally too so I will upload it directly.
i tested it on metal concert, so 2 bugs with one shot. (4K EIS and audio recording)and im satisfied with it
Hey guys!!
This is a video that I recorded this afternoon between OP5 and OP3t.
It shows how wonderful OP5 EIS works after the lastest OTA 4.5.8
Just see and make your own conclusions.

i really love the 1080p 60fps mode. I have tried some video yesterday

I cannot upload 4k video, so it's downscaled
Noise in video even in normal lighting, permanent eis I hate that, they sud add an option to enable or disable it,
60 fps 1080p that's OK, but if hardware support it than they sud try to increase it,
Slow no video in 720p hate it, wish if they enable it for 1080p too, and the more slower video option (higher fPS)
Also manual mode needed for video, at least for focus and exposure.

Coming from a Mi Mix 2S I can not stress enough how great the Video quality is on this Phone. Smooth 60FPS in a 4K Video and very fast and crisp autofocus makes this camera a joy.

The Mi 9 does suffer from judder in 4K 30fps which are a result of missed frames.
This has also been confirmed on dxomark review
Hopefully this can be fixed in a software update

For some reason the videos look worse on YouTube then on my 4K Samsung TV. This may due to the way YouTube processes those dropped frames, during its conversion process.
This needs to be fixed as its a big disappointment.
The Snapdragon 855 has more than enough power to handle 4K at 30fps with AI stabilisation but the Mi 9 lack of OIS could be the reason why it struggles during panning
The video is EXTREMELY SHAKY - EIS seems nonexistant.
- Audio is 14/20 (concert recording ok, quieter scenes a bit less nice)
EDIT:
- This is due to limitations on 4K60
- EIS is good on 4K30 - but then there are dropped frames.
I dislike the EIS implementation of Xiaomi (so called stabilization) on the Mi 9. It crops the image and you loose sharpness over stabilization. If you turn it off you also have a wider view.
My other phone (Mi 9 SE) the EIS is less agressive, so the crop is less perhaps due to the lesser cpu. The actual image looks better because it is sharper, detailed and has a wider view. The problem is that EIS causes judder when panning because the software is not optimized and more judder with lesser cpu. I actually prefer that they implemented the EIS on the Mi 9 with less cropping.
Strange is that I disable stabilization on both Mi 9 and Mi 9 SE but the video is still sharper and more detailed on the Mi 9 SE.

To be noted that now Gcam supports EIS in 4k 30 fps and 60 fps with much less cropping.

The stabilization is not as slider smooth as MIUI cam, though. I'd still prefer to disable EIS and have my gimbal for serious video recording.
Its excellent actually thanks to the new GCAM mod by urnyx05. It supports 100Mbits 4K 60fps videos with working video stabilization!! Working video stabilization on 4k 60fps is really uncommon. Non of the flagships have it nor even iPhones support it.

Actually, many of today's flagship can stabilize [email protected] including but not limited to iPhone 11 series, Samsung S20 series, even OPPO Find X2 Pro can do it as well. Xiaomi isn't left behind as Mi 10 series can do it, unfortunately as typical Xiaomi, they don't backport many features to older devices.

I believe we do. I have recorded just like my old xz premium.
240fps i believe
Imx363 only supports up to 240fps. You can do 960fps like some fake slowmo recorder out there using optic flow frame interpolation
