I am getting LTE-A in Net monster app after the latest 10.2.10 update in India. Anyone else getting it?
Update: I rooted my phone and viewed the RFNV CA configs. It was set as 0 means no CA. I set the required value, first for intra band, and then for interband. Both of them didn't work. Confirmed this in Network Signal Guru App. So sadly no CA for us cz of hardware limitations.

is anyone getting VoLTE on Vodafone in Delhi NCR? I didn't try any other sim but I am not getting VoLTE.
I believe this handset supports VoLTE.
Getting wrost speed on jio 4g in india haryana cant even download 5mb in 10 minutes just 2,5 or 10 kb/s troed every settings inserted sim again checked another sim in other phone bt speed was just too much in other phone bt this phone has i think serius issue i found a video on youtube that guy was telling that note 7 pro has serius fault of net speed nd i m now afraid bcoz i hv purchased it only 10 days ago nd inserted sim yesterday was using wifi plz any help plz

Hi , My data speed suddenly down to from MB to KB's while downloading some stuff and it get restored by enabling and disabling flight mode.
Anyone have this issue?? or is it also related to Carrier aggregation..

Screen on time just paused at 5hour 40 minutes nd not increasing as i m using phone as 25 percentage battery still left in it any solution to this bug

I don't see any 4G+ even on full Airtel LTE strength.
Net monster reporting normal 4G only.

Net monster doesn't prove u have it. It does say that it's supported in your area. I have checked the carriers with Network Signal Guru App. There is no carrier Aggregation. I even checked the speed comparing with poco which has 4G+. speed is really low compared to that.

Network Signal Guru 2.8.1 app only support SoC 675 . ( but not fully). so cannot show anything. please wait ..

If NSG doesn't work on your phone, you can maybe get modem log from Xiaomi. I have instruction here: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g-supported-ca-combinations-from-your-android-phone/ (scroll down to Xiaomi section).
If you can send log to me, i can put this device to my cacombos.com website where you can easily see supported Carrier Aggregation combinations of many devices.

Hi guys recently reliance jio in india launched new 4g service with 4 GB daily free usage for 4 months and unlimited calls for free. they only provide service to 4g lte phones.I know that I will get only 3g speed but that's not a problem. Is there any tricks to use 4g sim on 3g phone. I tried dialing *#*#4636#*#* and selected lte but the menu comes back to wcdma . is it possible to do system changes to trick the phone that it's network is 4g.I use cm 12.1 rooted. If any one can help it will be awesome.

In no way you can change the frequencies if phone's modem doesn't allow you. It's not just faking the icon on status bar.

If your modem does not have LTE band then its useless
It unlocks all bands which the modem supports nothing more

Idk... maybe the hardware supports it but needs some software changes ... like driver ...
My device (lenovo a3000h) apparently doesn't support 4g but there is "LTE" option in network type in "tablet information "...
I don't think that you can do that.
If the network only uses LTE bands, there's no way you can get '3G speeds' or use your SIM card in a phone that doesn't support LTE.

I tried to find what's the difference between 3g and 4g devices but couldn't find what i wanted ...
maybe both have the same hardware but 4g needs different software and stronger processor ...and they locked it in weak phones to prevent crashes...

And my operators are IR-MCI and MTN both on LTE+ (MTN perform better MCI. My mci some time switch to 3G)
I have checked the kagura dsds device available modem configuration files and the capability seems to be upto 3CA as same as for single sim one.

Find your your country MCC and then you can see which list it is part of. Then see see available CA combinations for that list.

The carrier aggregation option is missing from my phone, lol - B140 C432 (Europe). My OnePlus 5 had LTE-A all the time (the 4G support on my mobile provider is on 1800 and 2100 bands). Since I got the View 10, I have not seen the LTE-A sign not even once, always stuck on 4G only. A friend of mine has Mate 10 Pro and he gets LTE-A. Same mobile provider, same chipset.

And it says 4g on mine all the time
But when I check the signal I get lte band 5.. And others depending on what towers I use it the area I'm in
I think maybe the indicator is inaccurate but still received lte.
Down load lte Discovery app from play.
It will tell you all the info you need.
Also depending on what theme I use the indicator will work and show lte.
Just eye candy.. It works.

I don't know if it is intra band or inter band aggregation, but my carrier supports B1 and B3.
as per Flipkart specificaton, it supports CA - 1C (Only DLCA), 3C, 40C, 41C.

I have switched to jio as of now, so cannot get screenshot but if your area supports band 41 of idea or Vodafone you'll get 4g+

You are really not understanding, there is no tutorial or anything, if your area supports band 41 it will detect
I am from Maharashtra and Vodafone supports band 41 so you will get 4g+
On jio you are not going to get 4g+ no mod or tutorial is going to help, it's simple the band is not present on Indian version of Redmi note 7pro. China version has more bands than Indian version. China version will support 4g+

I don't know about net monster. But on jio getting 4g+ is impossible because your mobile doesn't support adequate bands.
For example take one plus 7 or realme x , compare their bands and Indian Redmi note 7 pro, you'll understand Indian version is lacking bands for 4g+ on jio.
Only Vodafone and idea can give you 4g+ if your area supports it.

Just try any friends Vodafone or idea sim or visit gallery.
Only Vodafone or idea supports 4g+ on Indian varient of Redmi note 7 pro.
On Jio its showing your phone is not compatible with 5G hence asking
My S22+ also shows up incompatible. I unlocked all the bands on it using a guide on XDA and got 28 NSA, 78 NSA-SA bands to work, still shows up incompatible. The indian version of these phones possibly have 28 SA band which is required on Jio since it's only SA.
Edit: Airtel should work since its a NSA network for now.

If you haven't received 5G welcome offer, changing band won't be helpful. Try to get welcome offer with compatible device first, once you have 5G activated, try it on S22 with changing band.

Mine is also saying not compatible before the (unlock bands and also after unlocking bands) but my jio5g is supersonic working after the method to unlock all bands,hope this works, if you having problems just let me know.

Thanks man , you're a lifesaver, I eagerly looking for something which can enable my jio 5g, tried Google and YouTube everything but suddenly I found this post , within 15 minutes I enable my jio5g , and this is what I looking for ,fully technically and challenging method ,which makes me also a tech savvy .thank you very much again buddy.
