This is a custom recovery made by LR.Team and I translate the flash tool.
This recovery can automatically decrypt /data partition.
Use the flash tool in the file to flash it.
!!WARN!! Be sure to flash "sign boot" in the advanced menu or you might not be able to boot
(Mount /system,/vendors before flashing magisk or sign boot)
!!WARN!! Flash this recovery on Oreo only.

many gsi, take a look here: https://github.com/phhusson/treble_experimentations/wiki/Generic-System-Image-(GSI)-list
ps: but if you want also a phone that calls and receives i would go on theese: Aosp9, OctopusOs, Descendant, and Omni.
I think this last one is the best (but not all omnirom worked on my phone, so the best i've used is this:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/pr...abled-device-development/9-0-omnirom-t3901305
With this one you don't even have to edit the /system/build.prop to make calls work as others, this one works as is, and bluetooth worked perfectly in car during calls, the others c roms didn't).
Changed the boot logo... liveboot doesn't work on this rom and sure that boot logo is a detail, but i found a bit embarassing in case of booting with that omni boot logo whithin other people but i think that at the moment is the best alternative if you can't live anymore with that bloatware of miui (because if you still think that privacy is still a right at the moment, place a non rooted firewall the first time you connect and see what tries to pass) so for me at the moment omni is the best choice for this phone.
since i've spent a lot of time seeking not a good rom, but any working custom rom for this damned phone, if it can be helpful to someone and you want to install, this is what i did: - hey, i'm not surely an expert as many guru devs of this site, so proceed at your own risk, and probably some things are not necessary but this is what i did to make it work for me:
1 download omnirom, magisk 17.0 (because magisk 19.0 didn't work or gave me problems with most part of the custom rom i've tryed), MagiskManager-v5.9.1.apk and place all in sd phone card or otg
2 boot in twrp recovery (press power until it vibrates and press (keeping presseded) up vol key for 8 secs or since twrp logo appears)
3 with all the custom roms i've installed since now i couldn't find a way to solve data encryption problem without loosing phone calls, so if the twrp can't decrypt data partition, format data and reboot again in recovery:
wipe/format data/yes (you will loose all your data so if you need to backup somthing do it before) /back and reboot in recovery
3a wipe/ advanced wipe / wipe davilk, cache, data (suppose it's not necesary if you have alrady formatted it), system
4 flash magisk 17.0 (don't install magisk 19 (twrp built-in magisk) because in our case (redmi 6) it doesn't root) and reboot to system
5 now when you boot in to system it will start crypting data, be patient and let it go, there will be an horizontal line going on, when you see it hangs don't worry simply reboot (obviously keeping pressed only power button untill it reboots)
6 maybe it will boot alone several times, don't worry be patient and let it reboot the needed times (i think once i've counted 4 or 5 consequent reboots)
7 when you are finaly in omni, install MagiskManager and open it (it will say that magisk is not installed, don't worry, it is), only reboot system again
8 open Magiskmanager again (now you will find magisk installed)
9 grant permission to the apks you need and if you want to change bootlogo i do it here before backupping. there are a lot of nice ones only search here in xda and replace the new one in /system/media/bootanimation.zip (system must be obviously writable to place it or changing permission, and if it doesn't show correclty new logo at boot check permissions/chmod it to 644 and it must go)
10 before than now i was used to use quite only twrp to make full backups, but now since data is encrypted again it's a problem, so since i don't know how to keep pemanently data not encrypted (i mean keeping a phone that still calls and receives ), i make a system backup with twrp, and a data backup (apks+setting) in the custom rom with titanium.
So after having installed and setted all the apks, i make a titanium backup and copy the titanium_backup_folder in the SD storage.
Then i boot recovery, format data (loosing all setting again), reboot recovery again and make the backup of the modified system.
once i reboot system i restore the setted backupped apks with titanium.
Surely there shall be more simple ways, but this is the only i use at the moment.
i don't have the redmi6 anymore and i think i'll never buy xiaomi again in my life! (think it's better to be the owner of the phone i buy) so i've dropped these memos before forgetting and maybe for someone that was desperate as me - ok, it's late so sorry for my english and if something has been helpful for you give me a thank (if there's a way) , tchau
anyone with root tried this?

You have BRICKED your phone. You have no way of recovering it without an authorised account or sending it to a Mi service centre. This recovery was for Miui Oreo only, not for pie.
OP should make it CLEAR that TWRP 3.3.0 is ONLY for OREO. DO NOT INSTALL ON PIE. @seanho12345

Cannot open TWRP mode
Hi guys. I am using Baseband version of C5000ZCU1AQC1.
I have already disabled FRP and CROM. And I flashed TWRP using Odin(success) But right now when I follow key sequence and try to boot into TWRP...
It brings me into Recovery.
I cannot access the TWRP.
What is wrong?
At this point should I wipe cache partition & data and then try updating the custom ROM using sdcard? Because if I try to click 'update from sdcard' it shows me that it is not possible.
Also. How to backup everything without TWRP??? This is so confusing. Since I don't have the same firmware version should I just not risk it? Please tell me.
If it's not possible in anyway I would break this phone in two if not.

Power + VOL up is right
new update soon - data decryption has been fixed up to a certain extend, thanks to our dear team member and developer @XePeleato. TWRP will be able to decrypt your personal data when no loclscreen password/pin/pattern/fingerprint is set (because this is bound to your decryption key).
Backup of decrypted data will be possible aswell.
Best regards
What is the exact difference to the chinese TWRP Version?
Also can I just flash the image via the chinese TWRP?
Great! I edited my thread recommending every user to use this official TWRP.
Anybody can explain a beginner (me) what's up with that encrypted /decrypted thing?
When I use fingerprint all my Data is encrypted and when I remove Fingerprint it's decrypted?
I know flashing recovery only from other smartphones, just flash it and done that encrypted/decrypted thing is confusing me a bit. So what I need to do to get it exactly to work. Step-by-step guide would be appreciated.

Yep, I am with you! Coming from OnePlus 1 I never had sth to do with decrypt/encrypt.
Can I do a temporary boot into TWRP with an locked bootloader? Just use fastboot to boot into TWRP once?
My phone is like factory right now (locked BL, no root and I dont know encryption status etc) and I don't wanna root or anything just yet so I can get stock updates more easily. But I just want to push and pull a few phone files using adb on my PC.
I mean I'm wondering, can I run adb commands to push and pull system files and set their permissions using the stock recovery?

Nope and you'll brick your phone if you relock bootloader after installing twrp (or at least it won't boot).

Best case scenario is it will trigger FRP lock.
Sent from my Honor 8 using XDA Labs
Hello there guys Xiaomi.eu released an official rom based on Android 8.0 for MIX.
The rom is very stable, every thing works fine except that the notification sound is laggy and after reboot it takes a while for everything to load.
China Developer 8.3.26 was released as the last nougat update for MIX, MI 5 and Mi NOTE 2
Android O testing has started for the closed beta team and it will be available publicly at early april.
the announcement on the chineese forums: here
the announcement on the global forums: here
Give it a try, For a less laggy UI I recommend clean flashing 8.3.26 by xiaomi.eu , update your twrp, flashthe rom, clean only cache and dalvik and reboot!
Features in the 8.0 MIUI:
~ Bluetooth Options of android 8.0 are available in developer options.
~ Picture in Picture is functional and the permissions for it are found under privacy.
~ New security tab in setting for the android bulletin and play protect.
~ the 2 sleeping cores of Android N on MIUI are gone and instead these cores are highed.
~ Notification snoozing is not available in MIUI yet. it might be available when AOSP notifications come to MIUI Oreo on MIX.
~ The 8.0 rom for MIX is NOT Treble supported sadly
~ Notification dots are already available in MIUI as part of its launcher
~ New Easter Egg of Android O
Please note that for any Android O rom for MIX you need to have TWRP 3.2.1 raupe as the 3.0.2 twrp by mr is not compatible with android O roms and will result an ERROR 7
MIX running 8.0.0 Pictures: here, here
Instructions:
Even if its weird this is my way to install Oreo on MIX and it worked and its clean:
1. on your current rom wipe every single partition (yes even internal) and format data using twrp and fastboot.
2. using miflashtool flash global 9.2.1.0
3. install twrp 3.0 by mrrains
4. wipe every single partition (yes even internal) and format data using twrp and fastboot.
5. using miflashtool flash global 9.2.1.0
6. flash twrp "twrp-3.2.1-raupe-blunden-15.1-vendor-fstab"
7. format data using twrp and fastboot
8. wipe data cache and dalvik
9. copy the 8.3.26 rom from pc and flash it
10. wipe cache and dalvik
11. reboot and finish installation
12. boot back to recovery
13. wipe dalvik and cache only
14. flash the OREO rom
15. wipe dalvik and cache
16. reboot and have fun

Hi
I have update with no problem. But Still don't know how about the root with this version ROM. Can you give me some experiences please.
Thanks
Root with supersu should work... Read it in xiaomi.eu forum
But... Oreo should have some major lags at least some reports..
I personally still downloading... And also I'm gonna try to update in place, no wiping of data!!
I do try to do ah backup with TWRP before..

2. Flashed twrp-3.2.1-0-lithium_7.12.21_v9-7.0_raupe-20171227-1822 through ADB
3. Wiped everything clean, formatted data.
4.Flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix_8.3.29_v9-8.0
5. Everything working well.
dirty flashed xiaomi.eu_multi_MIMix_8.3.29_v9-8.0 above 8.3.22 android 7, and looks like to work without any issues right now.. doesn't see any slowdowns sofar, not not more then normal after a reboot aber all settled within a few seoconds...
BUT, i do have the 256GB/6GB-RAM Version... i do see that after reboot only 3.8GB RAM are left! so possibly with only 4GB RAM i guess this will start lagging!
btw. beauty mod and 3-way reboot menu from mi-globe does work perfectly

- Notification LED does not work
- Like in AOSP, AICP or other Oreo Custom ROM's, the Kern 3 cannot be set fixed, always jumps back to 1593MHz
- Cpu 3 and 4 always run too high, opposite nougat

Just download the file on phone geht into TWRP, and flash it... On the bottom right should be ah button with image.. Press there und you see the img file from new TWRP, choose recovery and just flash it like an update, then reboot again in new twrp

You have to flash the new TWRP using the computer and putting the phone in fastboot mode.

This is very interesting. I assumed this wouldn't have been an issue on MIUI. The Mi 5s (SD821 too) also appears to have this quirk, but how common it is is another matter.

Team Win Recovery Project (TWRP), is an open-source software custom recovery image for Android-based devices. It provides a touchscreen-enabled interface which allows users to install third-party firmware and backup the current system, which are often unsupported by stock recovery images. It is, therefore, often installed when rooting Android devices.
What's new in 3.2.1-0:
* minui fixes (cryptomilk)
* Better android-8.0 compatibility in ROM trees (Dees_Troy)
* Fix missing library in android-8.0 (nkk71)
* Fix inconsistent SDCard naming (DevUt)
* Default to TWRP restore instead of adb backup restore to fix restore on fresh TWRP boot.

WOW.Maybe PM me with some screenshots! ? Glad to know
Questions
1. Do we still need to reflash the boot image after booting to twrp again to avoid encryption?
2. Where do we need to put the boot img and magisk/superSU files if we're going to wipe the data, won't that be deleted as well hence with the internal storage?
3. Lastly, will the sd card be read? Because in the other twrps I've tried both internal and extsd will not read or not mountable.
Hope you'll respond ASAP
Thank you

First off all I wanna know if TWRP is working or not? Secondly I don't own this device to work for it either I can but you have to provide logs(will be irritable). And I don't see many people for whom I can work.I mean these days, nobody like mediatek chipset devices...
Maybe you didn't set RW permission that's why USB can't mount ?
Okayyy thank you very much for the immediate responses guys highly appreciated:victory:

Did you flash the dmverity patch?
Hello everybody,
Iam not sure if this is correct thread. (hopefuly moderators will move me it to correct one)
I have been trying to flash GSI (Havoc) rom to my Doogee N20 pro. Unfortunately something went wrong and i found myslelf in boot loop without any possibility to enter any mode with any key combination.
Only thing which helped me was (format and download) rom with SP Flash tool. Unfortunately i have not created backup before so i had to download stock rom for my device.
After flashing stock rom downloaded from internet iam stuck with annoying red message appearing on my screen:
Tee key not write Gooogle key not write.

i have tried several methods to remove it:
Doogee N20 "TEE key not write, Google key not write" message
After trying to root this smartphone, it ended up corrupting some system files. I reinstalled stock rom and this message showed up: TEE key not write, Google key not write: Using Google i ended up at this thread here in xda...

Removing the Chinese text "未写入google key和tee key" watermark on the screen
After flashing a custom ROM, there is a watermark in the top-right of the screen saying 未写入google key和tee key I've googled it and have tried several of the solutions suggested, but none have work...
android.stackexchange.com
and pretty much everything else i could find on google and youtube but none of that helped me to ged rid of that "red overlay"
which led me in to learning about nvram, and missing IMEI.
i have managed to write back IMEI via SN Writer however i could not find over entire internet Attestation key/google key/tee key for my Doogee N20 pro:
which was part of the solution for removing Tee/Google key problem.
It supposed to be in downloaded stock rom but all i could find there was this:
1. Is here any good soul which can point me out to that key, have link, extract it from his Doogee N20pro?
2. Is here any doogee N20pro owner which can extract nvram and upload it for me somewhere?
https://romprovider.com/backup-nvram-mediatek-mt67xx/
3. if somebody have solution to simply remove TEE/Google key message from Doogee N20pro - that would be sufficient and i would not bother to try 1. and 2. However my bluetooth is not working so probably 1 and 2 would be best.
Best regards Michael
Hi if you are rooted and you want to also change to custom rom and get rid of that annoying google not write tee key thing and useless bloatware install:
I am in no way affiliated with pixel rom, and if you brick i will in no way be held accountable for bricked devices or any other issues
Pixel experience working on doogee y9plus release (so should work for doogee N20 release (I nlocked oem, disabled dm verity, and flashed magisk v22 zip before flashing (dont clear cache or dalvik otherwise magisk have issue, if you do you need to reflash with the gapps))
the google apps wasnt flashing for me so, if it fails (error code 64) just skip. my google stuff still worked fine for me . make sure to follow his reboot instructions . If his instructions are followed properly phone will boot in about 3-6 mins
** i was away when my did but i thought it was stuck on the first doogee(still image screen for about +- 20 to 40 seconds if it force reboots several (10+) times there is problem and you should start again )
please upvote if working for you too

I dont bilieve twrp is always specific to a device
if you have stock firmware and are willing to sacrifice your data
try the n20 version i bilieve they(doogee and other manufactures) are usually bummy about copying code then changing little bit and making it a new phone
so try this twrp
unofficial twrp 3.3.0 Root Doogee N20 - unofficial twrp
download twrp 3.3.0 Root Doogee N20, user who own Doogee N20 can root it by follwing the below Instructions
unofficialtwrp.com
try see if this one works
if it does then you have a solution to your problem and never have to woory about losing your data again
bonus if you get to start your own twrp thread for doogee n20 pro
i have tried that already as i told you in my reply and without twrp everything is pain in the ass even things like back ups are incredibly difficult and time consuming (with other tools via pc) ...i did not even managed to get those done corretly so unless there is something official and model specific it is not worthy to try as it will lead only to data loss. i have spent lot of time on this...
Hi! Did you find a solution? I restored IMEI but I still have the TEE/Google key problem.
