Hi
am trying to flash my bk808b plus to andriod 5 using the images from here
rom 2015-01-22
my current rom is finless1.1
i am using twrp to perform the upgrade but i keep getting the following error message
this package is for device: wetek; this device is x8_h
there is only 2 files on the sd card its a tandy 16gb class 10
rom 2015-01-22 and gapps 2015-01-07(lte)
the upgrade to finless 1.0 and 1.1 had no issues
does this rom image work with the bk808b plus?
i have followed the instructions to the letter.
my aim if i am reading it correctly should then give me hopefully hd sound pass through dolby true hd and dts master hd
i can then stop using my wd live box as it does bot support x265
also another issue i have found on the latest version of kodi/xbmc/sbmc helix 14.1 when i play any video content I only get 1/4 size display of video not full screen, go back to older version and all is ok has any one else seen this?

Hello follow you both here on NEEDROM What about 4pda ( dove unfortunately I can not sign up ) .
I tried the beta3 and I must say that it is already a great job . COMPLIMENTS!
However now I am trying your first stable version .
I ask you a few things to add :
- Governors most famous for the kernel ;
- Fix the problem of the microphone in calls ( I feel bad ) ;
- Update the recovery that is still a long time ;
- Fix the problem with the videos you see on facebook shelled, with green stripes , are blacks or other things .
Thanks for all your small or large contribution .
If you allow can I create a thread on " Androidiani " to support you and to test your ROM .
All credit goes to you of course .
If you want you can create that same thread , we are many in Italy to use Zopo 998 Lollipop and expect from time .
Hello and see you soon! :fingers-crossed:
OK Stefano you can share it on androidani forum
ROM is stable now and GPS is fixed
Stefano can you put here a link to a post in androidiani? Non sarebbe male seguire l'evoluzione in italiano.

Hi Degrus,
thanks for the work you have done on this ROM. It`s the best lollipop on zp998 I have found. I`ve been testing CM-12.1-20150818-UNOFFICIAL-ZP998 since yesterday and there are some bugs you may look in to:
Calls - sometimes stop during the call,
Calls - while initiating call, system loose signal
Mobile data - unstable, not always available after switching wifi to mobile data
Microphone -
Bluetooth - I had some difficulties to pair with MiBand but after sometime it paired.
SmartLock - I`m unable to add trusted devices, system claims that they are not connected even when other application is using that device.
Themes - Installation of other themes from Google Play fails, theme is show in settings/themes for a second and removed
Please keep developing, this ROM have really a potential and despite all bugs it is the fastest ROM I have tested and also in AnTuTu it scores over 31500.

Thanks for checking that so fast.
I`m unable to test themes you have installed because some I cannot find and others are not free. I have also tried to reinstall system with full wipe but installation fails the same. But.. never mind that is just an minor isolated problem it seems. I would include screenshot but I am unable to post outer links and add attachments due to my account restrictions.
The cellular data problem I have is only related to GAPPS and notification bar. I have noticed that Viber is working even when notification shows no data connection.
Maybe those issues are related to GAPPS I have installed, which are you using? I have installed MINI MODULAR PACKAGE from http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/software/tk-gapps-t3116347
Have you noticed the microphone issue when calling, the other is hearing an echo. That might be related to noise-cancellation which have occurred in earlier 4.4 and 4.2 roms.
Or the signal lost during calls?

CyanogenMod is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 5.0.x (Lollipop), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
Code:
#include <std_disclaimer.h>
/*
* Your warranty is now void.
*
* We are not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
* thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
* do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
* before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
* you point the finger at us for messing up your device, we will laugh at you.
*
*/
CyanogenMod is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). CyanogenMod does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for CyanogenMod is available in the CyanogenMod Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to CyanogenMod, please visit our Gerrit Code Review. Your changelog is whatever was merged into gerrit.
Instructions
First time flashing CyanogenMod 13.0 on your device, or coming from another ROM?
Download the zip(s).
Install a compatible Recovery
Perform a NANDroid backup of your current ROM (Optional)
Wipe data & cache partitions of your device (required when coming from stock!).
Flash CyanogenMod.
Optional: Install the Google Apps addon package.
Known Issues
* Exfat support is done at a CM level (not device related) and last I checked has not been added yet. It should get added eventually.
Other Issues?
Before posting on this thread, make sure of a few things:
You've utilized the search function of the forums. Nothing irritates me more than lazy people who do not search for an answer before asking.
If you are the only one having a problem. Boot into recovery, wipe data/factory reset, reflash the rom/gapps and nothing else. Boot up and see if the problem persists.
Make sure your post is relevant to this thread. "I'm having problems rooting/unlocking" is NOT relevant here.
LOGS LOGS LOGS!!!! Use this: SysLog by Tortel
Experience issues?
* Nightlies: bug reports are not accepted. You are relying on yourself and your peers in this thread for support!
* Stable: file a bug in Jira.

Wow, thanks ! It was a surprise that our tab was one of the first devices that took cm13 nightlies !
Wow. I remember when cm12 were first rolling out we were lucky enough to be one of the first to get it, now we're the first samsung device to get cm13 thanks to Christopher Palmer. You're the MAN!! :good:
Edit - enabling root in developers option but apps only get partial root. It seems like we're unable to write to system.
Initial bugs (cm-13.0-20151124-NIGHTLY-mondrianwifi - for who didn't see the other thread)
1. ExFat is currently broken so SDCards~64GB and larger (that use this filesystem) won't work
2. root (adb & apps) (can't mount /system rw with rootexplorer, esfilemanager ..etc) - not sure bug origins
I am currently using the Slim Gapps they don't crash, and are pretty stable.
Slim_zero_gapps.ALPHA.6.0.build.0.x-20151121.zip (current as of this post*)
Geekbench 3 score = 914 - 2597
AnTuTu v5.7.1 = Crashes on the Project Anarchy 3D test. (possible app bug)
AnTuTu v6.0 Beta2 (from their website) = 44773
So far the interface is smooth and lag free, for people who don't want to test or run into bugs I would wait until the stable build for the best experience .
@OP-Correct link to Change log (though 13.0 makes more sense)

Anyways great news that we are some of the first devices to get CM13 / Marshmallow, and great work crpalmer!
(I hope Samsung saw this news and feels ashamed for their lack of support and updates)
Am I doing something wrong or SD cards can't be set as internal storage yet? Anyway, thank you for your great work!

Can't be used from inside apps yet, either. For example, Plex or Google Music can't store synced media there... To be expected with such a new release.
Perormance, in the short time I used the tab last night, is night and day better than cm12.1 for me.

Only issue I've found so far is GoogleCamera 3.1 cannot initialize video recording, but the AOSP Camera can. Never seen that before.

I have the same problem on my Xperia Z3 running Marshmallow, so likely not a ROM issue.
I used Open Gapps (http://opengapps.org/).
I selected ARM, 6.0 Mini and they work great. The had tried the Micro version but they crashed constantly.
Just a quick suggestion - you should change the [5.1.x] in the title of this thread to read [6.0.x] to avoid confusion.

Noticed the issues like others on. The ROM not recognizing ext card. But also I can't install SuperSu? Anyone know if CM13 is on a systemless root?

Xmas comes early this year ))
First time ever I'm on the first CM nightly build for any of my devices <3
for the very first build it works not bad, no gapps or xposed tried yet though.
two things noticed:
wifi connection seems more unstable than on cm12.1.
antutu app crashes all the time when trying to run 3D benchmark. So currently cannot even get a full rating from antutu just yet.
This runs beautifully for me. Using Slim_zero_gapps.ALPHA.6.0.build.0.x-20151121.zip with no crashes. Only bugs I've run into:
1) after installing Google Now launcher, I had to reboot before it let me switch launchers. Works perfect after reboot
2) Google Camera 2.5.x crashes when processing a Lens Blur photo. Regular photos and video work fine.
Very few issues :good:
does not see the sd card.
How does improve?

Make sure you read the thread a bit before posting - it's only 2 pages (so far).
I'm betting your card is exFat, as reading the thread that is not compatible (yet).
It's also in the OP under "Known Issues"...
Some other bugs,
1. root cannot change the /system to rw mode for some reason (will try adb later), with toybox mount -o remount,rw /system, busybox mount -o remount,rw /system, mount -o remount,rw /system all get permission denied, I can however change the / partition to rw - ( I heard this is a feature in android M, but still not sure)
2. when you power off the tablet there is no battery icon
3. I don't think the battery gauge is accurate, looking at logcat I don't think it's reading the stats
4. brightness adjuster in notification pulldown is too large
5. wifi is iffy with hidden networks (won't automatically connect), and it drops off alot.
here is for testing
Carbon Rom 5.1.1 msm8960_jbbl
...i have found it on chinese website and just reupload it
Info:
-made in china by Moonlight Rom
-based on Android 5.1.1
-carbonrom fibers
Download Link:
CARBON-5.1.1-Final-moto_msm8960_jbbl.zip - 309.66 MB
gapps not included
EDIT...tested by me and works...only is needed to delete some chinese apps and install normal keyboard
Thank you!
2 questions: how is the Speed? I´ve read that cm 12.1 roms are eating up too much ram to run smoothly on our phone.
And on this Chinese blog, there are a few roms, did you also test their Moto MSM8960_jbbl通刷 FlymeOS5.1.6.24R or Moto MSM8960_jbbl通刷 Suda1.1 安卓5.1.1 V4.0 ?
From the Changelog, these roms are all a bit the same functions.
I really love the Network Speed indication (from the xposed Framework modules). Didn´t know it was already built- in meanwhile into new Roms.
God, this "checking sd card for errors" is killing me. It´s a nice rom, but what is this 5.1. **** of external sd card handling which cannot mount the external card, even though it is ok.

first I have to say that the rom is luxury and I liked a lot and I've had at a XT925 (razr hd)
although I have the XT925 but for this series of phones is the same thanks to the unified code and hardware similarities
I would now like to ask if anyone has already tested the hdmi output in this rom, that I do and not audio output by hdmi
and another that had problems was with the video playback but we already have solved changing a few libs
but what if it matters me is whether the audio output hdmi works and if not to be left on one side and not burn the neouronas trying to fix it, but I think the problem comes from the kernel ...
and there is no nfc but that I do not use so do not bother me ...
EIDT: audio output by hdmi is working now i dont kno how make it work but... ITS WORKING :highfive::victory:
ok now is time for make a flasheable zip.... and the question is... how to make a flasheable zip from a backup of TWRP 3.0.2
I am facing 2 issues in my phone. I hope this community will help solve me these issues !
(i) when i kill apps like messenger etc. others see me as offline while i have seen in some mobile when you even kill the app you still show online to others as long you have internet connnection. Is there some setting required?
(ii) Is there some fix by which i can merge the internal and sd card storage .. i have android version 6.0 and i read somewhere that marshmallow have this feature but i cannot see it. How can do enable this option?
P.s : i am really a fan of custom roms and i will love it if someone suggest me some awesome custom rom for honor 4c. Looking for a stable and better UI custom rom.
