Hey ,i have been trying to find some info for my SM-J7008 ,dual sim .It's got a chinese android 5.1 on it and im really struggling with finding accurate info about my device .Is there any possibility that anyone here could maybe answer a few questions about it?
1.Is the bootloader unlocked by default as ive read that this is sometimes not the case for chinese models.
2.I cannot find an OEM unlock option in the debugging options but i have no clue why that is?
If any additional info is required in order to answer my question ill be happy to provide that .

Hi, I've tried looking on the forum and all over the web. I have a program that supposed to unlock it but I think it's not working because I havn't upgraded the firmware on the phone.
Does anyone have any idea how to unlock it ?

Hi i'm alcatron, sorry in advance if ive missed anything here but i have looked around before posting.
I have an old xperia play r800i that is blocked(restricted). My cousin gave it to me that i might try unlock or flash it.
I know the bootloader unlock status is missing when i go to service info on the device but was still hoping i could still flash with a custom firmware or maybe, Is there another way to unlock the phone? Dont know where to start really.
I am a noob here so would greatly appreciate any help or advice on this matter.

Hi, I am on T-mobile and trying to purchase an HTC One m8 which is rooted and locked to AT&T. Would it be possible to get the cellphone unlocked even though it is already rooted while on AT&T? I found a service on ebay which provides unlock codes for $3 but in their description it mentions that I should not try to purchase the code if my device is already rooted. I am a complete noob when it comes to android so please explain in detail. I searched around on google and in other threads but was unable to find a definitive answer to my question. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I can't answer your question about the unlock code BUT you probably can unroot the phone and flash the stock firmware before using the code.

Hi, have you found any solution to unblock the Sim / network, cause i have the same issue...
These days i needed to unlock this specific model too. After trying multiple suggestions i finally managed to unlock it with this program "Z3X Samsung Tool Pro".
