I tested this on my p5100 and there were none, sound is definitely better than before, plus I didn't find it too loud that could damage the device, but can't say that for the ears. If there is any bug in your case, please report.

Update:- I was testing this and noticed battery drain little faster than it used to, plus there is very little or any visible effect(as far as my eyes are concerned, it can't differentiate nicely :cyclops: ). Maybe It's because I've tested this on a modified Candy 5 Rom which already looks pretty decent. So, I am a bit confused myself
anyways If you guys still want to try this out like me, you can go ahead, there is also a uninstaller zip so any changes made can be reversed.

P51xx 5.1 Sound Mod and tweaks
The latest update so far from my side as on 01.03.2016, I have took so much time, because I wanted this to be the best from all the previous mods I have posted. hope you all like it.

Low Sound Mod
This particular mod aims for those users who likes to use headphones and listen music with volume never reaching a high decibel, but still boom boom music. although Tab Speakers are exempted from the low sound bug and beats better.

This is the best Optimized Mod I have set aiming for most of the users. average to loud volumes, both the speakers and headphone shouldn't reach insanely loud, unless you try to.

Well, I don't recommend it, seriously, it's way too loud and might damage something, if you don't keep it tamed.

Tab result after flashing this mod
Device normal sound without even setting up the effects was better than the Original.
With just Dolby Sound turned on the Music Got even better and louder on the speaker.
With Dolby Digital Plus enabled I Could set up different Preset modes,
Headphones have volumes leveled set up nicely, the lowest one didn't reached loud enough to cause pain even at max volume.
medium was set perfect for my need and for the most of the audience as well alike.
Max is set for insanely cool music lovers that's the farthest I could take it just for test. it didn't blow up my speakers or headphone, it did blow my ears though. don't blame me if you blow up in your case. I cannot guarantee that this will not harm. so do it on your risk. still have the headache. lol
Although for enjoying Viper4android, I would suggest you turn off Dolby first, or you will get Disoriented Music effects.
this mod will disable the visualizer that you get on lock screen while playing song, that drains the battery and I applied the battery saving tweaks, so don't ask me for that, flash first and second update on the 2nd page of this thread.
overall better screen and images, faster video streaming and booting time. that's all I could test, rest please find out

Hmm, now why would Dolby Digital Plus do something like that on p5113? in my p5100, it starts running the moment I put on my earphones in the jack and I can access it from the notifactions drawer.

regarding a custom kernel, I am not capable of doing that as of now. If our wonderful devs are ready to do something about this. please, you're most welcome.

Yes, you will only lose audiofx.apk nothing else but instead you will get good sound enhancement in replacement.

I flashed it on my p5100 on twrp 2.8.7.2, which was successful, I still haven't tested with the latest twrp, @Android-Andi did said that older rom zip won't be able to flash on the latest one. So the same rule must be applied here as well. Will see what needs to be changed in the updater script once I get to my pc and tab.

Recently had been working and checking this on both twrp 2.7.2 and 2.7.3 recoveries, had strange results, So I am still not sure whats wrong with this.
I tried apply the getprop("ro.product.device") == "espresso" || getprop("ro.build.product") == "espresso" || fix with it, tried all kinds of other options that should have worked on cm13 with twrp 2.7.3. but it didn't
but then this same happened with me too

Yes, it worked with latest nightly on twrp 2.7.3 as well without applying any of my fix, on which I spend my whole night trying to figure where I am going wrong.
So, Seriously I don't know right now, there is twrp 3.0 released and @Android-Andi is also working on unified recoveries too. which one to keep
I will test again when things get a little bit clearer and settled. until then please keep sharing your results.

t.w.r.p 2.7.2? tried on twrp 2.7.3? I say blissmallow thread, it was mentioned on philz recovery rom flashed successfully. one of them should be able to get thru. I still haven't tried blissmallow, p5100 release is still not out yet. but soon, I will try too and give you update. android-andi is busy fixing things too with the recovery, I too want the recovery issues to be resolved soon.

Honestly speaking, I don't have a sony device so don't know if this will work on your Sony z2, but if you are on cm12.1 or cm13.0 based roms. you can take a nandroid backup and flash it. in case anything goes wrong with the device's sound. you can switch back. only try this, if you're comfortable with experimenting.

ViPER|DD+™ includes Dolby Digital Plus™ courtesy of @aki_007 which can be found here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/andr...ersal-t3078802 and is the perfect solution for those experiencing issues with the Dolby Atmos™ app. Both are fantastic and extremely similar in sound and identical in setup. This is certainly not a downgraded ViPER|Atmos™ but just another available option for the user. Dolby Digital Plus™ requires a Permissive Selinux environment so packages including DD+™ also include a Permissive script during the installation to avoid any issues after the installation. There is also a stock version without the additional effects.
These three versions provide the ultimate compatibility across all devices in your quest for the ultimate experience in seamless sound enhancement.

!! Make sure /system has 50mb+ of available free space !!

Installation:
Open Flashfire
Add wipes of dalvik cache and cache only
Add Viper .zip to be flashed.
Hit the Flash button (Lightning Bolt)

!! Be sure to enable Storage Permissions for ViPER4Android through its App Info page !!
Feel free to now test if it works properly by doing the following:
Begin playing audio file
Open v4a
Uncheck Enable v4a
Check Enable v4a
If you experience problems with the normal installation instructions, the awesome @dr.ketan has allowed me to link his Viper Fix 1.1.apk which will essentially disable all other effects from your system by eliminating their libraries from your audio_effects.conf using v4a instead. Flash this apk as a normal user app, open, reboot when prompted, boot to recovery and flash your desired ViPER package. Uninstallation and Removal:
The best and easiest way to remove this and any other /system mod from your device is to dirty flash your rom after wiping System in TWRP. Before you begin, make sure you have a compatible rom zip on your internal storage as an OS will need to be installed. As long as you do not Factory Reset or check Data or Internal Storage, your data will be left intact but with a fresh /system partition.
Verify compatible rom zip is on device
Boot to recovery
Wipe > Advanced > System, Dalvik Cache, Cache
Mount > uncheck System
Install > current/compatible rom zip
Reboot
Now seeing as we don't have TWRP or any other custom recovery (yet), dirty flashes may be a bit difficult. But there seems to be some ROM development peaking its head out so I'm sure that will be available soon.
There is a ton more information regarding fine tuning, tweaks and premade customizations and settings for the different Viper packages and can be accessed here.

will this work for SM-G9350 Model?

one question (i will post this in more v4a threads, hopefully some of the devs (not the "repackers") will read and probably respond):
i recognized a problem due to audio_effects.conf changes which almost all v4a installations will do (exchange the audio_effects.conf file with a much smaller one, with a lot less entries): due to a lot of "normal" effects wont be used anymore after this change, there will be a few problems as well: for example: the noise reduction will get glitched. in skype you will hear a lot of background noise after this change!!
is there any advanced audio_effects.conf available with viper running but not affecting regular sound performance??

Do we really need yet ANOTHER thread on this? Is been done so many times now. Or is this somehow different?

So you ported all these things to Oreo all by yourself
After flashing this all I could see is
V4A with no drivers
Dolby Atmos which doesn't works (obviously it's not ported to Oreo )
After install all this mods I only lost 30mb of system storage that's dope

Dolby only crashing on Oreo (but dolby working perfectly on Lp-N) other all thinks working perfectly ok then if u don't know how to install the viper drivers (The basic think) this is not for u (Noob) . . . Don't spoil the thread Noob ?

but nothing happened after flashing it

You shouldn't rip off other peoples work "(Ainur Audio) Sauron Mod" and pass it off as your own. Dude is a hack don't support hacks work. I use Ainur Audio and its awesome and I'm in no way part of their team. Check out their thread if you wanna try some amazing original work.

I try fire audio oreo with new dolby on Omni Rom 8.1 and i get bootloop.I have magisk v16 as root.I flash fire audio and wipe cache and dalvik/art cache but bootloop.I reflash omni rom and all fine now.What can be the problem?My device is Redmi Note 4 3/32gb Mido with Omni Rom 8.1 latest,pico gapps and magisk V16.

Dirty flashing is the problem i think because no bootloops faced by other devices . . so try clean flash with rom and if u face bootloop flash Fire audio remover for escape from bootloop!!

Ok...i will try.Thanks for your work.All in one place.I want to try your microG but i don't know is Omni Rom 8.1 support signature spoofing.

After trying clean flash Omni+Fire MicroG+Magisk+Fire Audio i still get bootloop.I flash Omni+Fire MicroG+Magisk rom booted just fine.So it's something related with fire audio.

Bootloop or stuck at bootlogo ?? If stuck at bootlogo then long press power button to boot . I think audiomod is not compatable with omini try with other roms because none of one faced bootloop and No chances for bootloop !

Flashed on pixel experience latest rom, both dolby and viper4android are working fine without any issues. Thanks a lot.

I am not tried with MIUI . . . If u are going to change ur rom then just try with miui and tell works or not (try both audio mods if possible) ?

Ok...i will.And i will wrote here if works or not.Thanks to you again for this amazing work.MicroG is working great.But i will also want to see clean microG version...without greenify and kernel adiutor mod.But no problem to delete them with TB or file manager.One mote bro...is microG has survival script inbuild or i have to flash them again when updating rom?

for me i flashed the rom > kernel > firegapps > magisk > audiomod

If u dirty flash ur rom then no need to flash micro-G again . . when u clean flash u need to flash gapps again !

Installation
NOTE: if you are already on an EXT4 ROM jump to step 5. If you don't know, flash stock ROM and follow ALL the steps.
(RECOMMENDED) Be on a stock ROM, installation will be cleaner, otherwise, corruptions may occur.
Download EXT4 tool, the Kernel ( You can use black reactor kernel too).
Flash on Samsung recovery (or your recovery if you are not on stock), bielt.v 's temp. CWM. Link
When you are on the Temp. CWM, flash the EXT4 Formatter tool, so the whole system will be converted to EXT4. (Stock filesystem is RFS)
After the installation, flash bielt.v 's kernel you have downloaded before.
When the Kernel is installed, go, on the CWM, to advanced --> reboot recovery (this will reboot the device, and turn it on on the new CWM of the kernel)
Wipe data, cache, and Dalvik
(IMPORTANT) Go to mounts and storage, and Make sure the system is mounted (will show unmounted) mount it 2 times or more! Otherwise, ZIP won't flash, Every time you flash a ZIP, U need to do this
Go to install zip from SD Card, choose zip from SD card and install your ROM(from downloads section) (MAKE SURE installation last more than 5 seconds, if it is less than 5 seconds, your system is unmounted! repeat step 8 ).
Bielt.v's kernel has a "bug", if you don't mount twice before installing, ZIP file won't be installed! Make sure everytime to mount system properly!

And by the way , i just found a way to Watch youtube videos online, without need of mxplayer or ETC ----->WORKS only in 4.4.x
and ALSO
Found a way to Watch 360p Videos in our OLD Galaxy Y!

The method is SIMPLE!
if you ever downlaoded a 360p video file, you will that the Bitrate Quality is higher(for SGY), which MX player does supports ,but are laggy!
METHOD: Just download NewPipe Which ofcourse now supports 4.4(armeabi), and download videos there, it will downlaod it and will process it to a few points lower that those of OTHERS!
and be sure to Tick the Autoplay options and change th auto Resolution to 360 and FLoating to 144p.
and Video Format to 3gp!

and YEAH i almost forgot,
did u check the AURORA Store
it now also supports 4.4(armeabi), i've tried that one , and it worked!
A good app to replace PLAY store!
