Non-root Playground support - Essential Phone Themes, Apps, and Mods

There was previously a modded AR Stickers APK that was installable for non-root users that provided AR sticker support for whatever GCam port you choose.
Now that AR stickers --> Playground, do we have a similar patch/modded APK? ARCore from APK Mirror installs fine but I believe there's some sort of fingerprinting in the Playground APK from APK Mirror that ends up crashing the Camera app any time I try to use it.
I know there are Magisk mods out there but I don't really have an interest in rooting my phone, so ideally it's just a modded APK.

[APP] [T350] Google Camera Go (Replacement Camera App for 32bit ROMs)

As many of you may possibly know, Google dropped 32bit support for Google Camera all the way back in version 4.2. That version would crash on my SM-T350 running Pie, and while 4.1 would work, it would crash when opening the back camera unless you changed the resolution to 480p (even though my back camera supports 720p). In addition, 4.1 is also such an old version that it doesn't have any of the features that would make it a viable option over the OpenGapps Camera (which I'm also personally not a fan of) or Open Camera, neither of which I think have particularly good features or UI.
However, Google has recently release a lite version of Gcam much like their other apps called "Google Camera Go". Lucky for us, some of the APKs uploaded to APKMirror (it's only available on Playstore in certain regions, much like other lite apps) have armeabi-v7a support, such as this one which is currently the latest:
Google Camera Go 2.2.359460728_release (arm-v7a) APK Download by Google LLC - APKMirror
Google Camera Go 2.2.359460728_release (arm-v7a) APK Download by Google LLC - APKMirror Free and safe Android APK downloads

I am not sure if it is necessary, as I have not tested it without it, but I also edited my build.prop to include "persist.camera.HAL3.enabled=1", so try adding that if it doesn't work for some reason.
This finally brings portrait mode and translate support to my tablet, and I think it's a big improvement over OpenGapps Camera and Open Camera.

Samsung Disney AR Emoji APK Files Needed

Can someone share the apk files of the dinsey characters AR Emoji like those in the attached photo?
has anyone found apk for these ar emoji characters?
I don't think anyone saved them, and we're not getting them unless someone still has a S9 with them installed. I've been looking everywhere for the Zootopia pack for a while now, and the only thing I can find is the old Galaxy Store link, which includes the package name. Searching that only gives more Galaxy Store links, which also don't work since it's been taken down from the store.

Question Gcam with third party gallery

Hi,
is it possible to use Gcam with a third party gallery because I kind of dislike Google Photos?
And if it is not possible by default, is there any workaround or even a Gcam mod for the Pixel 7 which is staying as close as possible to the original but just allows me to change the gallery?
Cheers
Kind-of.
Basically, you need a "google-less" build of Android, like GrapheneOS.
You then can install "gcam-services-provider" (photos release from github, not basic).
The gcam services provider will create a "fake" google-photos that can be launched by camera, which then launches your selected gallery application.
Alternatively, you would have to find a way to fully uninstall gooble-photos and create your own shim.
So this means, I uninstall the Photos app from my Pixel, install the "Gcam-Services-Provider Photos" and install a different gallery app. Afterwards, Gcam will open the third party gallery?
Or do I need to uninstall more than the Photos app?
I know that some of the Google Camera Mods, which were called Camera PX, had an option in the settings to use a different gallery outside of Google Photos.
You can try random versions to see what works, but keep in mind, if I'm not mistaken, the Pixel 7 version of the camera is a version ahead of the older Pixel phones. If something doesn't work correctly, just know that everything works fine on the stock camera app.
Another thing is that normally, these mods were to get Google processing and whatnot to work on other devices or bring newer Pixel features to older Pixel phones(this is the version by MWP). I'd recommend trying the MWP version first and checking the settings after that. Idk which version of the camera by which developer had the option, but it does exist.

Question Mod Google Camera Watch App

Hi,
Is there a posibility that we can mod google camera watch app to use with GCam modded phone app?
I don't know, but maybe try to edit the gcam mod package name using apk editor to the original package name, since gcam mods usually have different package name
This method is not working I have been trying from last 3 nights by changing the package names. In the wearable app it does show that the app on phone and watch are installed as companions but when I tap on Gcam on watch nothing happens, just nothing. If someone can provide some solution, would be grateful
Thanks

Question Google Photos alternative, with faces/objects recognition on the phone (not cloud).

Hello
I'm looking for a gallery app, that can recognize faces and objects, without needing to enable cloud backup like Google Photos.
I have too many photos and don't want to pay extra storage on google one.
On my previous OnePlus 5, everything was local, and that was enough, and misses me.
I tried to install every manufacturer gallery app (OnePlus, Oppo, Samsung, Xiaomi, Huawei...) but none can be installed or is working (probably due to dependencies / external libraries...).
So do you know a great third-party gallery app that can do that locally ?
Thanks.
Probably not what you want but you can install the xmlpak Magisk module, it'll allow you to download and install vendor apps from other manufacturers, no guarantee of it working tho.
Interesting module, I didn't know, thanks.
But I had tried by downloading APKs directly, so it won't help...
The Huawei gallery is really good (I prefer it to Google photos) and offers facial recognition too but I cant get the APK working on my Pixel 7 pro. It has some great build it photo edit options too & a decent video editor. If anyone knows of a way to get it working i'd be really keen to know.
