Alertify plays a sound alert upon receiving specific Notifications from other apps based on keywords within the notification.
Get customizable sound alerts for notifications (only) when:
a specific person out of a whole leaves a message in a group chat
your name is mentioned in a notification
an email with a specific subject is recieved and so on
Generally speaking, allows to:
Control notification sounds for an app with different events but no sound controls for each one of them.
Get sound alerts only for specific notifications based on their content.
Wake up from an important notification (tones can loop up to two minutes, off by default).
"Advanced" use:
Get alerted ONLY for the important notifications (in other words - control all notification sounds through my app) -
By switching Alertify sound channel to ALARM (off by default!) and setting Android notification volume to 0, or silencing individual app's notifications
Other:
The sound stops playing as soon as the notification is dismissed by the user (by tapping or swiping it away).
You can schedule when Alertify is active/inactive (paid in-app feature, but no ads and I didnt limit anything else :angel.
Alternatively you can switch off each chosen app just like you do with alarms in any alarm app, or set notification volume to 0 (with Alertify in NOTIFICATION mode)
It is also possible to set a different tone PER KEYWORD, and not only per app. If no tone is set for a certain keyword, the default/chosen tone for it's app will play instead.
Originally I just wanted to hardcode something for a specific game related app, but kept generalizing and adding more options overtime.
I'll be thankful for any suggestions and feedback Especially how to explain better and shorter what my app can do

Has this been removed from the Play Store?

New Features in Blink 1.9 (Jan. 14, 2011):
1. Add LED color test function to check device LED support status (customized colors and LED test guide are available for the test).

3. User operation and procedure optimized.
4. Other minor improvements.
**************************************************
Everyone knows the situation: You don’t want the phone to ring but still want to know when someone is contacting you. The internal simplex LED notification is too dark and you don’t know if it’s a mail, SMS or call…
Blink lets you customize your LED alerts for many system notifications in your way!
Blink extends your default Android LED alert system and allows you to customize LED color for SMS/MMS, Incoming Call/Missed Call, and Low Battery/Memory (more features will come soon).
With a few simple LED tests you will be able to add a group of favorite LED colors in for these notifications. By customizing the LED colors and frequency in your way, you can check any alerts with a quick glance at the LED light. Blink keeps the LED flashing alerts for you.

I'm having the same issue. All documentation points to an option to set a custom incoming sound, but that option is not where it is purported to be. Has anyone figured this out? I'd really love to be able to use one of my custom sounds.
