Full Explanation of running services android and MIUI. - Xiaomi Poco F1 Guides, News, & Discussion

Hi
well i was thinking how about creating a clean thread of explaining all the Android and Miui running background services like rg.codeaurora.ims,miui.external.Application,com.qualcomm.qti.uim e.t.c
so any one who wants to make slim his MIUI by removing services which is useless for personal daily usage?
i know there are many like threads but none of them are FULL explained what every service does.

The Valuable Apps I have seen in Play_Store

The good apps I have seen in the Play Store are:
1. Temple Runner: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.imangi.templerun&hl=en
2. Auto Off Manager:https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.appzdevelopers.autoffmanagerf
3, Avast Anti_Virus: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.avast.android.mobilesecurity&hl=en
One does not simply call avast the best as it's the most common and therefore, the most countered anti-malware in order to target successfully the highest amount of users.
I don't believe antiviruses on phone. No impact I think. Only improve ram usage

That's true. Almost in all android cells, I have seen the Avast is installed. I do not have any doubt. It would be in number one for some years may be. Talking to the Gaming world, Temple Runner is also ahead, but we do not know how much time it would be... Because candy crush made crazy to people and other competitors come in market. Regarding the Auto Off Manager, there is no one to compete it as it is unique one and some apps are there in market but I do not think that that are comparable with this one.

For mentally Satisfaction, antivirus is required. I also have not seen any active participation of antivirus in android.
Thank you

The apps aren't the best but they are your preferred, the thread looks pointless and I will reported as soon as I will collect more reasons

Antivirus?
In my simple opinion the best antivirus for your computer and mobile devices is called COMMON SENSE.

Hi xanthrax,
I do not know, in which way I hurt you. But truly speaking what I felt right, has written. Till now I do not know what to do for the community. But assure you that, I would not break the law of community. Word "The" always placed before best. If you can suggest me what to write before best, then I would be open always.
Few apps what I felt are better for android users also will suggest in this thread. Please do not make any thread as controversial one.
If you feel any apps are much more better than what I suggested, you are welcome, so that I may use the best one.
If I have hurt you by any means then I am apologizing for my words.
Thank you
I'll contribute a bit to this usefull thread .
Apps that are really usefull or impressive are:
- Titanium Backup Pro
- 2lines for whatsapp
- Tapatalk, of course for XDA
- Chrome ( far away the best browser for high end phones )
- Smooth Browser ( the best browser for low end - high end phones I made it myself, link is in my signature )
- Greenify
- Xposed Framework
- Nova Prime
- Zooper Widgets Pro
This are my favorites/best apps for today.

These are really good apps.
It would be better if you can give the link with these apps.
Above the apps, I am using the Chrome and WhatsApp. Others will at least once give a try.
ok , i will expand my point a little bit more.
there is no broken written xda rule on this thread or similar to it so far .
when open a new thread , you have noticed that you`ve been suggested to check first whether another similar thread has been already opened or not
my quick search revealed
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1213454
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2642476 (well , for rooted devices)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=929193
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1425813 (well , pulled from market)
and maybe some more ...
another point is that not all devices are supporting certain applications , there are hundreds of phones and few dozens of android versions reason why , the most indicated place to open a thread about your favourite/best apps is in your device thread unless someone already done it .
example
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1425813
the xda recommendation is to not to open BEST threads but mostly regarding ROMs and KERNELS because it can trigger a flame war around it
which is best for you may be not the same for me ... conflicts
regarding apps and themes it is different but while on themes section there are good and sedulous maintainers who knows what they do , here on apps sections these kind of threads creates more confusion bloating the search index with more and more results
now , it is up to you how you can deal with but i have the feeling that these threads will end up becoming nothing but another outdated list of apps , list which can be also easily found on Google using search
the last member who posted the list already did it on another thread , well , everyone has this right though ...
i`m sure you`ve got my point even though it isn`t easy to accept it
there are lot of other ways to help people and to contribute to community if this is your intention and only a quick search on my profile it will help you to understand how easy it is
-=-=-
i should have done this using a p.m. but observing other`s involvement i have chosen this way
however , further opinions around my point it will go private
Thanks @Sanjuujosephh for your heads up!

This is really appreciating.
I do not have any doubt in your contribution towards This forum and this community.
I do not know when my profile in this forum would be like your profile.
You really has created a field in this forum. Your each post and reply costs 1000$s. Still my intention is not to create confusion among the forum members. Now let this thread run like this. In future I definitely give more value added posts and Threads.
My intention was to create this thread where all good apps would be listed and any one can easily follow and can see the features.
My intention is not to promote any single individual. My intention is to make this thread Great and will made the most valuable thread.
Intention is not to be famous, but can help others to get the better one through this thread.
I would definitely carry forward my research and will give the best contribution to this forum and this community.

New vision, new project

Hello all guys, first of all I am new here so if I am going wrong somewhere please correct me.
As we all know XDA is full of great & contributing developers but as long as i can see this power of XDA speaded so my main aim is concentrating this power to a unified direction towards something good:angel:
So please read full thread and try to understand.
As we all know there are man famous ROM all around androids.(like the famous CYANOGENMOD and its really great) but what about non-rooted device and this also needs a far consideration of PROs & new comers(like me) can't go anywhere with it.
So what i and other newcomers thinking is to get something new which don't need root at all & it should also be able customize phone at best and we can replace it with company app. And if this project succeed then we will also consider to create a new awesome class ROM with it.
So here are some details of this project.
This project will cover all devices(non-rooted and rooted also in some case) from 4.0+ to any other new coming version of Android.
what will we do in this project.
1)Make best apps for basic needs of a phone or any other related task.
now what conditions this app should satisfy?
1)100% accuracy.
2)Light weight.(Should consume minimum RAM)
3)Available for all devices(4.0+ minimum or you an go for more older versions)
4)Should be efficient and good enough to be replaced with company apps(like gallery, camera, calculator etc.)
5)Will not be copy of older versions will be inspired by material design & Android 5.0
6)Having slick & stylish icon( cause first impression is your last impression) & awesome interfaces.
for 6th point developer will be able to take help from this thread for testing on wide range of devices & choosing best icon & interface which most of the users like(because today for developers the only & biggest problem is get to know what his/her users want)
The best example of this kind of apps is AcDisplay(The best yet i see except its available only for 4.4+)
why start with us?
1)You will be able to test it on wide range of device & get best review by other developers also.
2)You will be able to get to know what interaction your app will do with other app(for example camera should be interact with gallery of other developer so it can optimize user experience)
3)Contribute in creating best app packages which can interact direct to non-rooted system & optimize user experience & performance with best looks also(for example CM has best package of File manager, Music player Camera, Gallery etc).
The advantage of this over CM will be is it will be able to work with any non rooted device(4.0+ also) & will be totally secure. And having awesome new slick design & will also be well test & debugged.
And if this project will grow good enough then we will also be able we can also start thinking about making XDA's own app store.
Some guys might think that : Ok, thats quite good enough but where should we start?
So here are some suggetions to start with.
1)File Manager(CM File manager non -rooted & well tested for RAM & functioning efficiency)
2)Apollo 2.0(with new awesome icon cause the old one is not that good yet and free from some bugs)
3)Gallery (A new one with awesome perfomance & inteface with hide option(to hide some secret photos ) and non-lagging user experience)
4)Camera( with awesome new functionalities provided by CM but also available for non-rooted 4.0+ devices)
5)AcDisplay(well debugged & availabe for 4.0+ also:angel
Thanks for paying attention. Sorry if I am going out of topic of any mistakes(Cause i m really new here)
Questions and suggetions are always well invited.
If it seems to be off topic && non-developer content please wait a week before reporting or closing this thread to see response and what others want.
IF you interested start talking about your project and start sharing and testing from here and give it a head start.
And please response if you agree with this idea cuase i need everyone to join & make it a sensation.
If you age just type agee in reply so it will be update & later on everyone who start watching thread can see here at first.
If you are not agree please sugget here ideas which are needed to improve android experience.
Agree
Yes bro you are right we really need such collection of apps.
I means Google play is great & CM is also great. But Google play is not that good yest as CM & CM requires root. So it will be a great deal if we will be able to get best apps all in one package.
And app store of this great forum by itself will also be a great sensation on android world which also might lead us to new OS made by this forum itself/

MI fans whatsapp group

Am great fan of miui and xiaomi devices, miui fans whatsapp group is already very active and is meaned for all miui users here we can discuss about good stuffs from mi forum app, new developments, updates, any installation helps, best apps for miui, miui themes ,application tutorials in a single simple group.

THANK YOU......
Already left miui, as it's developers playing game with us, showing dumb reasons for not giving nougat and being silent about audio recording bug.
Custom roms are stable now, providing as much features as miui, sometimes much more. So, no plans to get back to miui.

Doogee X30 | Pixel ROM 7.1.1

I am asking you in advance for the administration to move to the appropriate department because of this message:
"To prevent spam, you must have a higher post count in order to make a new thread in this development section. But feel free to make new thread in the non-development sections like General, Q&A, etc. Thanks for your understanding!"
I am currently working on this rom, I try to match it with the Google Pixel system as much as possible,
Added apps:
+Calculator Google
+ Calendar Google
+ Google Clock
+ Gmail
+ Google Photos
+ Google Phone
The system is based on AOSP and I would like to thank you ttomovcik in advance
if you have ideas about what to add to such a rom, write boldly
Hello, I'm a follower of you work (Android AOSP for Doogee X30) actually I'm using your last rom for X30, if you are planning make this new rom base in your last AOSP here some things to fix or add:
Volume in radio Fm Is no Working, is always at maximum.
Auto brightness some times is Flickering the screen.
The app locker included in stock room would be a great addition.
Thanks for you hard work.

De-googled Rom which is safe (Data), Privacy, without tracking?!?!

Hello Mates,
i am really glad to be a member of this great forum and respect all the Devs and members here. They do alot work and give us great Roms for testing and daily using. I just wonder why there are no Roms which have special functionality which safes our privacy, no tracking, backdoors and listening and so on. I know google is listening to us cause i always got advertising on instagram and faceboot about what i talked with my friends.
I use hygrogen Os and use aurora store but many apps doesnt work withour google services like Line, Paypal and so on. And i am not shure if hydrogen is good for privacy cause it is for chinese users.
Best Regards
