Hello guys
Do you know any App or solution for auto changing the sim card if the connection for SIM1 is to slow?
I'm using SIM1 for data connection and SIM2 for calls. But sometimes the connection of SIM1 is only Edge or less and SIM2 has 4G network.
I'm using a xiaomi phone with Android 9.
Sorry for my Bad German English.:fingers-crossed:

Hi, I have a dual sim Moto G. I have a 3g sim and a 2g sim card.
I wish to use the 2g card for data and calls but the 3g sim for calls only.
Now I put the 3g sim in slot 1 and the 2g sim in slot 2. Now when i choose data mode for the 2g sim it changes the data network type to 3g without me choosing that option. And it changes my 3g sim to 2g network only.
I'v tried all sorts of ways but it still changes the sim network type on its own.
Any ideas on what i'm doing wrong?
Many thanks in advance, Ben.
P.S. yes I did search the forums first but I couldn't find any details about this issue.

In a dual sim mobile phone 3g network can be operated from one sim only so what you can do is activate 3g on the 3g sim and disable internet on it and then the only choice for 2g sim would be to stay on 2g and then you enable internet on it.
If it doesn't work try changing slots.
If I helped please hit thanks!

I have tried switching sim slots. What happens is when i select the enable data tick on the 2g sim the network type bar greys out and changes to 3g mode on its own. The only way i can change network mode is to de-select data mode and choose 2g again.
Cheers, Ben.
I have a Huawei G730-U00 that support dual sim. But only Sim 1 supports 3G network. Is there any help to switch 3G network on Sim2 without power off and change Sim Card? I want to change 3G network on Sim2 if Sim 1 is deactivated while using 3G on Sim2. Please help. If it needs rooted devices, or any force enabler, it is OK. Thanks
I got it now, to change 3G network without power off and changing SIM cards.
Thanks, everybody
Dear All,
I have a question and i would like to know if fellow users also face this problem. In my dual sim S7 930FD, I have both sim slots used. When i use internet from Sim1 and keep Sim 1 default for calling as well as internet i can use 4g/3g with no issue but when I want to use Sim1 for calling and Sim2 for internet only then when I make a call using SIM 1 the internet stops working on SIM2.
Is there anyone else also who face this same issue and is there a solution so I can atleast use 3g parallel to calling when I have to make calls?
Hi, Does your dual sim s7 shows G930F in cpu z and in download mode? please check

Hi there
I have a U11 international Version (401) and two Sim Cards.
SIM1: with Data Plan
SIM2: no Data Plan (if i use data it's 3$/day....every day!)
My Problem is, when i connect my phone to the car over RSAP, it autmaticly switches to SIM2 and i have to pay.
I was not able to activate mobile data in SIM1 and deactivate mobile Data in SIM2. They are both on or both off.
I tried in: Settings/ more/ Data usage / SIM1 or SIM2
Any idea how i can seperate them? Is this a Firmware Bug?
Regards
+1, I have the same question. In the dual network manager I can set the "preferred" SIM card for the data connection, which is not what I want, I am looking to completely forbid the data connection with one of the SIM cards. Anybody?
Is this possible with the OP6? I have a private SIM (SIM1) with a 10GB dataplan and a company SIM (SIM2) with a 1GB dataplan. My Sim2 is the default SIM for calling and the SIM1 is the default data SIM.
Whenever I make a call, my internet connection gets disconnected because there can only be one SIM active at a time, but I need a connection during the call so it would be very handy if the phone switches the data connection from SIM 1 to SIM 2 during the call (and back when finished).
I saw this is a feature on the Huawei P20 but did not find a setting on the OP6.
The quick tile button "switch data card" doesn't work during a call....

Having the internet cut out doesn't make sense, I have AT&T and T-Mobile with dual-4G enabled and when I have a call on SIM1, I maintain LTE on SIM2. Also check if your carrier supports VoLTE, as this will use LTE for voice and you won't lose data when calling.

I also have dual-4G enabled but the connection drops as soon as I have a call. VoLTE is not supported at all in the Netherlands on the OP6.

I too see the connection being cut when I have a call on the SIM that is not data by default... I see the data being stopped on the SIM 1 but it does not start on SIM2. In general I have to say that it seems it takes a long time for SIM2 to get data connection established when I test moving data on it. So this might be the root cause...
I have the same problem, any solution to this?
