Origin story:
When I tried out Aviate I really liked the picture at the start but I wanted it to change once in a while.
So I decided to make a widget that does just that.
Show a nice, 'inspirational' photo and change it every day or so.
It is fully scale-able so it is compatible with launchers such as SF launcher or Aviate which allocate a certain number of pixels for it, but it also works great with launchers like Apex or Nova which let you resize widgets.
I'm not good at photography, so I'm not the one picking out the photo's.

Obviously, only ones with licenses that allow it are used.

Thanks, glad you like it.
The border only appears on the lock screen variant since some launchers already provide a border.
I'll see if I can detect borders and add them if needed.

I just released a new version of Gizmooi to the Play Store, with a few important goodies:
[1.3] All CC licenses are now supported, not just CC BY-2.0! This means there are 6x as much photo's available now and we're a step closer to a new photo each day.
[1.2.1] Fixed a bug that caused old attribution data to show up.
[1.2] Incremental back-off if your phone's memory is full. This is currently implemented in quite a hacky way, but more phones should be supported now.

The most important thing to include in the report is whether or not the default photo (the one of the lake) is eventually replaced.
If it isn't, the photo download isn't working for you for some reason.

Endomondo widget in low power mode

After having tried all the solutions mentioned on this forum, I'm sure that there's no way to replace the native Endomondo software. Unfortunately it has not yet been adjusted to possibilities brought by the new Sony software: no way to run it as a widget in low power mode. Some of you wrote they had asked the Endomondo team to refresh their application - unsuccessfully. I've just tried to do the same, and they told me to request a feature, and wait for users to vote. This is the appeal to all the Endomondo users on this forum: Please open the following link https://support.endomondo.com/hc/communities/public/questions/201405083-Sony-Smartwatch-SW2-integration-needs-an-update, and vote.

I have gone through all of these apps now (Runtastic , Endomondo , Strava) and none of them works properly on the Smartwatch, so i'm now punting this guy's app which does work and i think it's probably EASIER to ask him to add maybe support for Endomondo on it.
Search in the play store for Ghostracer :Real-time Segments by Brave the Skies .
That dev wrote a standalone app with a properly functional, low powered mode and customizable display that works on the Smartwatch 2 . No "Remote Widget" nonsense or button pressing mid-run.
The main draw of this app, it uploads to Strava . You just add your strava account in the phone app and sorted. So assuming Endomondo / Runtastic do not restrict this ability, i don't see why he can simply add this to the same app .

You're right, none fitness tracking app works with SW2 properly at the time. The problem is I've been tracing my workouts with Endomondo for three years now, and paying them for the premium account. They claim their software works with Sony Smartwatch, and this was the one and only reason I bought this certain smartwatch. I think I can expect them to keep their software up to date.

25/12 XPERIA keyboard/highly custumizable/7 themes etc etc

Hello Everybody
i have the latest supermanrom sm-935f installed and works perfect...expect for one thing
the keyboard..
ive done lots of theming for various devices spend countless hours doing this.
but now ive had kids..bussines..my time is limited as for now.
so what i needed with limited time is a keyboard which:
-works flawless
-can be made bigger then the stock samsung
-has some themes in it..i like black
-looks good
-easy to install
i was looking for this..i know the experia keyboard is nice one but:
-cant install from the playstore
-when installing a a normal apk. is says:broken
so i made a zipfile and tried it as a system apk:
it worked :good:
been using it for a few days now and i must say..
-it works perfect
-looks good
- has some themes in it(black!!!:silly: )
-can be made really big
-looks nice
i know lots off keyboards are available on the playstore , but i really think this is the best one(atleast for me)
so i wannto share this with xda.. so other people can also use this keyboard and enjoy it .
-it contains the latest apk. from nov 2017
-my plans are to keep it updated

MeeTime and Celia

Hello,
Do anyone know how to activate MeeTime and Celia on p40 pro?

Celia is already there, while her voice is great - in UK English she sounds much sassier than Google or Siri, she is pretty useless. Weirdly she isnt part of the setup process or easy to find. Search settings for "HiVoice" or look in accessibility and the option to activate her and manage settings are there.
MeeTime i think will come as a download or a software update at some point. I don't think there's any clues as to when.

MeeTime is not active yet. I set my country to China and a MeeTime option appeared in the dialer screen. You can click it and it starts the setup process but fails trying to retrieve your number. Looking forward to this working. I hope that it will be rolled out to non Huawei phones as most of the people I would use it with do not have a Huawei phone.

I have talked with Huawei and for international models they will be activating it in next update. Atleast for Australia

Stop update to Android 12.

Is there a way to stop the auto update to 12? I had to send mine to Nokia to get downgraded back to 11 cause for one thing, it killed the dual SIM capability. Then, i just hate the UI and refuse to pay for apps to fix the look. I have looked everywhere and all the guides say to go to a certain place and disable them, but that doesnt exist in Android ONE i guess. I dont really want to try a custom ROM cause im sure it wont support dual SIM either.

Find the OTA update app and do a adb edit to disable it. Package Disabler has a variant for model other than Samsung, that might work too.
On Samsung's they look like this, ws.dm is the prime offender...

I would not recommend this sites app to anyone. I tried to buy it last night and 24hrs later, I still have no app to download. I found your post from a Google search. Email went unanswered.

Give them a business day or two... jeeesze. Do a charge back on the card if you must. I've been using them for over 3 years, no worries, as I am now.
