Audiomack app causing reboots when battery is low - Google Pixel 2 Questions & Answers

Hello i havent seen this problem anywhere on the web but when my battery is low, say 30 percent and below, and i open the audiomack app to play downloaded tracks my phone will sometimes randomly freeze and restart. I noticed this would happen when opening snapchat while playing music in the background with youtube vanced. Not sure what could cause the bug, but i believe it only happens when playing music on audiomack while battery is low, and when playing any music in the background then opening up snapchat. Im just curious as to why this happens.

Google Play music eating CPU while not even playing

Let me start off and say this was not an issue when I first got my Pixel on 10/20/2016. During my lunch hour I enjoy browsing the web while streaming BT audio to my car. This past week however I have noticed my Pixel getting warm while doing this and my battery taking a huge hit with 1% dropping every 1 to 2 minutes. I then brought up my battery info which I’m listening below and I notice that Google play music is consuming more battery then my screen is during that time frame. I can see this being an issue if I was streaming music over LTE but that’s not the case. All of my music is downloaded through the Google play music app so there’s no streaming involved.
I then figured it might be because I’m rooted and I’m using Viper4Android which will eat some of the battery. I then did some testing and I monitored my CPU usage with 3C Toolbox Pro. Turning Viper4Android on and off during my tests I can figure it’s adding another 4% or 5% while playing MP3’s. That in itself should not eat battery like I listed above.
I then paused the music and swiped away the notification only to find out that Google play music was still running in the back ground and using a good 20% of the CPU……. Once I killed Google play music my CPU dropped down to 5% usage from a constant 25% to 30% while it was running in the back ground.
In the last screen shot please note I have paused the music over a min before I took this screen shot. During that min the CPU Consumption was 80.30%
Anyone else having issues with Google play music?
I've had the same issue from approximately the same time as you, I'm using a Note 4 though. Haven't found any fix yet unfortunately, have you?
My fix was to download all of my music and play it with black player. Since then no issues. There's no reason Google play music uses that much CPU.

Google Music stops randomly

Greetings all!
I'm having a strange phenomenon when listening to music on my Pixel from Google Play Music (untested in other apps as I have all-access)... my music will randomly stop/pause. The app and persistent notification show the icon as if it's still playing (not paused or stopped) but there is no sound, seconds do not advance, never gets to the next song, etc. It's worth noting perhaps that this seems to happen towards the end of a song, for instance when there's maybe 20-30 seconds of the song left. I feel like it has something to do with whenever it might start to preload or buffer the next song in queue??
After I give the app a fresh restart it seems to work fine for a while.. anywhere from 15 minutes to hours. There seems to be no pattern that I can tell. The only other thing I'm thinking is that maybe an app I'm using is for some reason causing a glitch but I really only use like Facebook, Gmail, texting, calling, and a time clock app. I've never had problems until I got the pixel so it definitely seems somewhat device-specific.
It does this when listening to music thru BT or with headphones plugged in.
The quickest way I can fix this is to manually press Pause in Play Music persistent notification, and then swipe it away, press the Square and Clear All. With headphones I can just re-open Play Music and press play.. on BT I have to cycle BT off/on (I think, I actually don't think I've ever tried it without cycling BT), then re-open Play Music... Sometimes it will automatically continue where it left off when I re-open the app, other times I have to manually press play again. You can imagine this being quite annoying and potentially dangerous as it usually happens when I'm using BT in my car while driving.
I've tried clearing the cache, clearing data, and even a full wipe. I'm using Pure Nexus ROM currently, but had the same problem when trying Resurrection Remix. I have literally never used the stock OS, I rooted it the day I got it and installed unofficial Lineage... I don't recall having this problem in LOS but I only used it for a few days before trying PN, RR, and then back to PN.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Or does anyone have some potential ideas to fix the problem?
Mine does the same thing the fix for me is not use Google play music. Play music has done this no matter what ROM I was on

Help!!! Drain battery when listen music?

recently i listen music on my xperia xz so i face problem that it drain battery so much, i don't know why. It use 7% / 16 minutes , and the phone heat up everytime after 5 min playing. When I listen to music, i don't touch phone screen at all ,screen is off, wifi off, bluetooth off , no background apps running. Music on my phone all mp3 format, DSEE is off, normalize off, just use equalizer ( than i turn off all music effects, use google play music in stead defaul music play and it still the same) . The thing is baterry on my phone kinda good. I got 5-6 hours SOT when use normal( web browse, etc...) . Does anybody got the same problem and how to fix????
Update: I know the issue on my phone. I use some app to get immersive mode use ABD command so i can hide navigation bar. But seem like immersive mode this way drain battery when screen off and if i play music with screen off it heat up my device. A lot of user got the same problem https://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g6/help/immersive-mode-causing-battery-draining-t3621622/page3
Update 2 : I found a way to fix that issue. You have to exclude all music app out of immersive mode ( defaul music app, google play music, spotify,... )
anybody? I tried poweramp with build in it own music fx, i thought it was okey but it not, my phone still heat up and drain 7% per 18-20 minutes . cry how to fix????
Yeah I also got this problem. Dont know why, first thought it would be normal but now I am really sure it cant be normal.
..
I have updated to eXistenZ v.8.0.0 from v.7 and since 16:25 to 17:11 I have been listening music from Google Play Music (wifi) and my battery has descent from 63% to 59% and no heat issue.
You use eXistenZ than your phone probably rooted. I talk about use immersive mode without root with ABD command way

Audio stuttering

Hi all, just wondered if anyone else had this issue. While playing music through google play music everything works fine, even with the screen off, however occasionally when I wake the device back up I might get a slight pause or stutter in the music playback. This can also happen if I'm switching between intensive apps while music is playing in the background. I've performed a factory reset, and it doesn't make a difference if using headphones or not.

probably nope
I'll pay attention to this in way to check if this happens on my phone too, i have the same firmware running except that I'm on B372 (latest build for BLN-L21C432).
Anyway, begin to warn Huawei through their contact form on their site. The first they're aware about this, the first they can work on it and find a fix (if it's possible).
I've noticed the same problem last week. Music stops playing pretty much every second time the screen gets turned off.
Same problem with Spotify and Soundcloud apps, however weirdly enough the default Music app works without any problems.
Any suggestions?

Audio Statttering and lagging

Hello
I have a serious problem that's gonna drive me crazy,
When I play a song on any music player app at it statter and lag every 3 sec, same issue with recorded voices or videos from youtube also local video in my device, also video or audio on the browsers, issue is happening with speaker, wired headset or wireless one.
My phone is redmi note 11, rooted with Lsposed.
the problem is not visible right after rebooting the phone but when any song/video is played after almost 10 sec it starts lagging and stattering even the volume control bar to increase or reduce the volume become laggy at same time when the played song lags, I have checked the battery optimisation and those app aren't optimized by it.
I tried everything disabling lsposed and it's modules same issue.
Unrooting the phone no changes
I removed all the app that I installed same issue and kept the default rom apps same issue
When I boot the phone in Safe mode the issue is not there and the music is played with no issue even the volume control bar doesnt lag.
Anyone has any idea or is there an app that monitor what's happenig that will help to discover the source of the probléme
