I have a probleme.
before, with a galaxy s8plus, i used the application " gear camera one" and there was a live prewiev on the watch while recording a video.
And now, with a galaxy s10plus there is written on the watch " video recording" and it's no longer possible to have a live preview while recording video...the picture is fixed while recording.
I contact the seller app and he said it depended the phone...
what should be done?

Today I recorded my first long video with Infinity, an interview for my blog, at 720p resolution. The first surprise - at 37min./2gb the camera stop recording. There is any hardware limitation? The second and very bad surprise - after 10minutes the video goes out of sync with sound (1second delay). For an interview is a disaster! Some users report that the JB update solve the problem, but I think that is a hardware issue caused by the heating of video sensor. Am I wrong? You can recommend another video camera app excluding the original tf700 video recording software? Do you know a Windows application for repair (sync) this video file, broken by tf700?

The built in video app on the Galaxy S5 records in MP4 format. It seems that the viewer in the Gear 2 (Neo) requires 3GP. I found an app that does a pretty good job with the conversion, but am looking for a simple solution such as a different video recording app for the S5 or (hopefully!) someone pointing out something simple that I am overlooking.

The issue was that it was too high resolution. Easy to resolve!

Please I need information about an app that allows me to capture video on my Galaxy S5 (lollipop 5.0), controlled from my gear 2.
I am using VRecord but within a minute of being active, an mesaje appears (in gear) that has lost the connection and stops video recording.
I can't find an app to do this work, enable video recording and can end it from gear too.
I am ready to pay, but for one app to show that it works well.

All of a sudden I'm getting the following error after recording a video: unable to play video (shown in pic)
This happens on all quality settings and on both rear and front cameras. I have no idea what's causing this. ES player can play recordings with no problems, but when launched from the gallery they don't work.

Hello, I have the same issue with a Samsung S6 Edge. If I reboot the phone the first video plays smoothly but only the first. The video recorder also crash when I try to record a new one.
I’ve tried changing the software to a newer but it doesn’t fix anything. Do you make any advances?

Installed VLC player and use that one. Had no luck with default one.

You don’t have problem recording the videos? I get an error every time I try to open de video recorder from the camera.

Nope, recording works just fine. Had no problems with that one.
Maybe try out a different recorder app. Something should be available on the market.
i would like to ask does the camera 2 api of the galaxy s6 come with manual focus for video? I am running stock rom never rooted and Ive tried pro shot, manual camera and other camera 2 api apps. but my problem is the sound gets recorded while the video frame freezes. sure i can adjust through the view finder and all. but it doesnt take any manual focus videos... any guys got any thought about this?
