TWRP & ROMs?

Previously I have owned phones by Vivo Oppo and Oneplus but I am new to Realme. What are the chances that this phone gains TWRP and/or any custom ROMs? Thanx

Really hard to say. The custom rom / twrp development has been really slow on the Realme X2 Pro, which means that not a lot of devs are working on Realme hardware.

On the other hand. The development of the XT is quite Good.

I don't think it's coming any soon

Also I think realme doesn't allow unlocking bootloader in EU.

I just hope they don't follow the footsteps from OPPO, which unlocking bootloader is a pain of the butt.

Is any possibility to get MIUI here ... i'm gonna pre order that thing but really want MIUI.

Be a little patient. Its gonaa be a while before we see something here.

Yes I made a post about it because someone wanted my help if they ran into issues on an X50 custom kernel I thought they meant X50 Pro and found the source code. Anybody attempt compiling it yet?

Regarding roms.... I compares network bands in Chinese and global versions. Look same so if I buy Chinese version can I upgrade software with EU rom (realme UI already) and get multilanguage? Or it will brick device?

It's not possible to flash global ROM on CN device.

Are you sure? Can you please tell us some details regarding this?

I'm, wasn't possible on X2 Pro, which I had before this device and is still not possible on X50 Pro. I tried myself...
On X2 Pro people said because of different partitions or / and sizes.

Can you even find fastboot roms for this phone? I found a site with the roms, but they're all the recovery roms. I'm thinking of buying the new X50 Pro Player variant, but I don't have a lot of information regarding custom roms for the X50 Pro which isn't a good sign for the X50 Pro Player.

[URGENT ANSWER NEEDED] Are the methods mentioned here legit or are they scams/malware/virus?

I know that using unofficial ROMs and firmware is always risky, but I'm wondering if this is legit. I want to update my Vivo Y51A (unsupported) to at least Android 8 (Oreo), and this website claims to have all the supplies needed for that, but would they actually work?

Hopefully someone here knows about this variant or has a better plan for you.

My POV: rooting a phone or replacing the stock rom with a custom rom has become a pointless popular sport. At the end of the day, no better device comes out than the one you bought.
To be on the safe side only use rooting tools / custom recoveries / custom ROMs authored by non-chinese people and introduced and provided here on XDA.

Yes I really want a plan apparently LineageOS doesn't have anything for Vivo phones so I need an alternative.

Is it working bad and because that u change it ore it's ok but because it's no new update u change phone?My working for now apsolutly great and no matter to change it, but i just asking is something new to refresh it a little bit!?

It's nothing big thing for me...but this phone have amazing option and kamera and it's still fast like some expensive phones ... I'm sorry 2 for bad update organization in oppo but i liket still...

I ran away from oppo and coloros messed up software plans and when i grabbed a oneplus 8 with oxygen os i thought im finally free ... Bom .. the android 12 update is coloros even on oneplus

I m very confused. I saw a post of bootloader cn be unloacked in indian varient of gt neo 2 so i was wondoring can we now install custom roms on realme gt neo 2? I want to install ancient os. Is it possible? I dont see any videos on youtube about it.

No custom rom is available till date for realme gt neo 2

Hope that development will start soon but I think we have no such ROM because no dev has the device... Other companies send free devices to developers...

I hope that too, this is such a nice device.
would be a shame if there isnt a huge dev community behind it.

Realme spits in people's faces by unlocking bootloader after 6-7 months of a device being launched and that too not in the US/EU.

Guys I accept the custom Roms with reserve. You do not know how smuggling bad code the guys inside the rom. You all use the phones for banking, photography and so on. Only the original rom is safe. Sorry for the fair coders.

You are joking, right ? The bad code comes from Google and the manufacturer. Big Brother is watching and deciding for you.

I am thinking about to buy this phone model. Why after months, there is not a single custom rom available for this model ?
Is there some reason for modders ignore this phone ?

was paid for a modder to develop mobile roms, so will have official costom roms soon. one of the reasons is that the stock system is very good.

There's already TWRP.

Greetings! Is there any hopes that we will get custom roms? Ideally Derpfest? The phone is almost a year, and Castomov is not there, unlike that 1+9r, it becomes sad because of this.

There is 2-3 custom roms released already. Aroow OS, CipherOS and XDroid with some bugs

Question Xiaoxin / P11: doubts about firmwares

Hi there. I'm really considering buying a Lenovo Xiaoxin tablet and I would like to ask something about firmwares..
1. Apart from official ZUI and Global ones, are there ROMs modded by sellers? I absolutely don't want those. Or maybe are the Global themself modded versions instead of officials?
2. Do you think the ZUI is better, apart from the security center being too strict? It seems to me the Global is too much stock for a 11' tablet..

1. I don't think the seller can modify the rom and keep the bootloader locked as android has something like secure boot on PC. If you want to be sure, buy the one with ZUI and flash the global rom yourself
2. I personally don't like ZUI because of its look, i prefer stock android and samsung's one ui but that's personal preference, also the global rom will have a more recent security patch than ZUI.

Yea modded ROM also usually means unlocked bootloader, from my experience..
There are a few issues flashing into this tablet from what I read: lost serial number, invalid IMEI and I don't have the patience to deal with such things to be honest..
So ZUI gets less updates in general? That's weird (well not for Lenovo of course)

I don't think you should be worried about those issue as i've flashed my P11 Pro like 10 times and never face them, just have a backup of your QCN file in case something go wrong. If you want to use the global rom, just let the seller flash it for you.
Im not sure if ZUI gets less updates, I'm just saying that the latest Global rom on my P11 Pro has a newer security patch than the latest version of ZUI
