Update Package for S7/S7EDGE 9.0 FE PORTS - APP & PRIV-APP FOLDERS + S10 UI Sounds
This package contains updated app and priv-app folders (07.04.2019) with the latest working version off applications (tested all by me) for Galaxy Note FE ported S7/S7Edge roms.
Download: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=1395089523397934954
edit!: S7 users shoud remove samsung boot and bootloop .qmg files in media directory.
you may also want to skip SystemUI.apk and SecSettings.apk since devs made modifications on them for rom control.

R: For the future updates.

Nice thanks a lot.
In the media directory i found also the samsung boot and bootloop .qmg files, can i overwrite mine with those files on my nfe pie s7 port rom ? Without ending up in bootloop?
Maybe i can also find the s10 bootsplash that wa.

They are original s7 edge files. only sounds changed. but as you say I remember I should delete them for S7 flat users. I'm updating more apps in the rom I'll remove them next release.

How can I add jar and odex file to framework folder?

I have a Galaxy Young Duos TV (GT-S6313T), and I'm using a Galaxy Young Duos (GT-S6312) ROM, X-Sam Duos.
Trying to port TV to this ROM, I've searched in stock ROM all files that have "broadcast", "nex", "ltn" and "one seg" in its name. Then I copied them to new installation, including TV apk and odex.
I get two behaviors: if I put all files found in ROM, less the /system/framework files, ROM boot normally, but TV app doesn't appear. If I put all, including the frameworks, ROM doesn't boot, get stuck in Samsung animation.
What can I do?

Samsung Galaxy S6 SM-G920P (Sprint) Stock Boot Animation QMG Files

Here I have included a zip file containing all of the stock boot animation files for the Sprint Galaxy S6. I needed these files at one point, but could not find them online and had to reset my device to get them. So, I guess I am taking the time to post them now. Note that these files can be used on any Samsung phone that uses qmg format, but they are the stock ones for the Galaxy S6 for Sprint (SM-G920P). Also note that THESE ARE NOT FLASHABLE.
The link to the files is here: mega.nz/#!xWJFHBgB!LtXaL5bVJNae-rz35uxrIrLxOc7DKf710pAAtMskLPw
Enjoy! And if you needed and used these, drop a comment so I know I helped someone!
do you have the Sounds?

[MOD] Boot animations - Root + FlashFire

Team DevDigitel Presents : Boot Animation Support For the Note 8!
This is just the beginning of the thread, I haven't seen much development here for Rooted Note8 users with the Snapdragon,
so i wanted to share one of many flash-able mods i'm working on.
This thread will be for boot animation support and Anyone can share their customer QMG based boot-animations if they would like,
If you got it from another location and didn't personally make it please make sure to give credits to the original author.
And as always, I can not be held liable for the damage or malfunction of your device using these files, you proceed at your own risk and remove my liability by continuing to the downloads portion of this post!
HOW TO USE:
Prerequisites - Have ROOT & Installed Busy-Box into /System/Bin
1.) Download FlashFire from Google Playstore : https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.chainfire.flash&hl=en
2.) Open FlashFire and grant it root permissions, once granted you will hit the RED + on the bottom right corner.
3.)Choose install Zip / OTA option and then select the desired zip to flash...
4.)This will bring you to a menu where you should select Mount System as Read / Write and then hit the Check mark in top right corner
5.)Now its time to hit the bottom button that says FLASH !
*The phone will go black as FlashFire does its thing and then it will reboot, you should now be good to go with the new mod! ENJOY
I did notice after the reboot that FlashFire had trouble opening and a soft reset resolved this, this is related to the app itself not my mod.
And remember to hit the THANKS Button at bottom of OP if this helped you out!

worst case you can pull the SPR_bootsamsung.qmg
and place it in its perspective location, if you could check and see its path of where the sprint logos are located then i can be 100% confident on a yes or no answer.
the note 8 has them placed under:
/system/omc/SPR/res/media
other carriers are listed in omc as well, so non sprint users could just move the qmg and put it under the right spot and rename the stock ones .bak and have them work also.
a non active phone would just look at
/system/media/
This sometimes is the place they are just located at and the other location may not exist. But the QMG that i've built will work on any Samsung, with dpi being the only thing that may be a issue on a super small screen may sqew the image.
how to remove the GuyFawks Mask BootLogo?

go to
system/omc/SPR/res/media/
delete SPR_bootsamsung.qmg
or flash the uncarrier mod, then go to that spot and remove the .off from the SPR_bootsamsung.qmg file to get the sprint logos back.
Can you do a tut or make a thread on how to customize these yourself. Maybe a video of how you made the anonymous an loading image To share with others. ?
Also. This worked great on my note 8. I had to remove a file called bootsamsungloop. To get rid of the Samsung boot image completely.

There are tons of tut on how to make a qmg style boot animation. The samsung device lineup uses them vs the bootanimation.zip
I used the old Samsung customization theme tool. You can convert most the bootanimation.zip ones to qmg using the tool.
Samsung also has a development program where they will convert them for you! You must choose a device similar to the note 8 that has a unlocked bl, so any exynos variant works, And you can NOT send in copy-written martial as they wont touch it and they have a strict size and img limit.
The location you found the bootanimation loop is the place you need to replace the bootanimation files, so i use just a basic updater script to install the stock one renamed to .bak or .off whatever bs you want and then the new one named correctly. Permissions set and boom.
A great tool to use is zipme from the playstore, if you are rooted you can just take the stock one and build it into a flashable zip using it and then just replace it inside the zip with the new one you want. open my updater-script in the zip and look at how the commands are set, its super rudimentary.

Bootanimation on samsung s8+ android 9.0

Hi, is there a way to change the samsung's bootanimation method (the one with .qmg extension) into a .zip? In particular i'm using a stock firmware rooted with magisk. I know that custom roms already has the .zip files for bootanimations, but i wanted to have it on the stock version which is more stable.
All posts about this problem are very old and the solution with samsung theme designer is terrible (it also crashes while converting the project)

Need help with creating Boot Animations for Samsung

So as you guys probably know , Samsung's OS is a bit different than other roms and and therefore I can't install the specific boot animation I want , because it requires QMG and the boot animation I want is a ZIP file , if anyone can help me to convert it from ZIP to QMG or just do that for me , it would be much appreciated , thanks in advance

Google can be your friend on this one. You need to make them image by image in png format. Then use whatever Samsung uses it does. You can't just convert a zip to qmg.
If it was absolutely that simple every one would be making them. There are guides out there. But tedious work.
I tried googling but this stuff is complicated for me and it could be cool if anyone would do that for me or atleast help me with that cuz I didnt really understand everything

I used to have a zip file that enables the use of boot animations in .zip format it's old coming from Lollipop era try searching the file name Lollipop Bootanimation Zip Enabler in Google you should be able to find old posts and links about it
If you decide to do this always remember to backup everything since you'll be flashing a zip file in twrp to enable the option to use bootanimation.zip

I've seen that, pretty outdated and I think has some issues on the Android versions not mentioned on that post. What I noticed is that all that zip does is replace the bin/bootanimation file. If my crazy noob logic tells me something, I'm thinking that it may be possible to get a bin/bootanimation file from AOSP and replace it on current Samsung firmware to try to bring back bootanimation.zip support. It prooooooooobably won't work but it's funny to think about

Yes it does i found the file from my Note 4 backup lol but it's encrypted i opened it with notepad++ i bought the s9+ korean version i'll be rooting it later next week i'm going to mess around with it to see if the bootanimation zip enabler works on Pie
Hi,
I've been looking for a while now to flash custom boot animations. There are tutorials, but I don't dare start well. Unfortunately, not many, if any, custom bootanimations are in qmg format.

I also searched behind a Magisk or Exposed module, which could fix this, but I don't think there is one.

Is there no safe way to do this? I have replaced the qmg files but nothing changes. I've deleted the files and they come back. Kind of afraid to flash the marshmalow bootanimation.zip support since its quite outdated. Would love to know if someone managed to use the zip instead of the qmg on a s9+ with oneui 2.0
Thanks in advance
I forget which Samsung galaxy I did this on but I simply renamed bootsamsung.qmg and bootsamsungloop.qmg to another name and then copied a bootanimation.zip file into that same folder (/system/media) and it worked.
You also have to make sure permissions are set correctly
