Camera works fine here, try clearing cache from recovery always after the update.
If the camera does not pop up visit a service center for a camera malfunction.

so there is a new rom update and also Google Camera got updated.... it is supposed to be compatible with lollipop according to the discription... does it mean it wont crash anymore when using the front camera?

According to the change info in Play store and this post (Android 5.0 Lollipop Release Discussion), yes, this update seems to fix the FC issue.

basically LYF WIND 1 seems like a copy ported version of DEXP "lxion M LTE 5"
You can google both versions and can confirm it. It was tested on 8GB Version.

Calling function is not working for Oreo VOLTE I think , are u facing this problem as well ?

Developers Please! please! please! Help us..The rom(lineage 14.1 & resurrection 5.8.5) provided for lyf wind1(ls 5010) has so many bugs. when turning on flashlight and playing video blue screen appears like blinking and front camera and video recording is not working. Another problem is music pauses when screen goes lock. so developer please provide a stable rom. I know how to port MTK roms, but i don't know proper guide for porting SD roms. I have tried a lot but it doesn't works. so please give a stable rom or tell bug fixing guide. Another thing I request to XDA that please provide a porting guide for SD410 MSM8916 including miui porting and nougat roms.

Since wind 1 and wind 3 does not have very dissimilarity since then wind 1 ROMs are not working on wind 3.
Please suggest me a device that is similar to lyf wind 3.

If anyone still wants the resurrection remix rom for lyf wind 1, then i have ported and fixed a few bugs.
[Bugs fixed :]
-volte calling is working fine
-removed the annoying notification "Device is HD capable"
-fixed video recording now it works
-fixed audio codecs
[Bugs still not fixed ]
-front camera doesnt work
-calls are disabled after a boot you will have to reboot again to enable it (even soft restart works)
And i am using this rom as my daily driver everything works fine except the front camera. Its been about 1 year now since i started using this rom.
If anyone wants it then i can upload the ported ROM
Its the same version of rr rom given in the post.

Just want to know that can any one develop some custom rom for Swipe Elite (Pro and Sense) both are same just for branding only i tested stock rom of both pro and sense works on each other without any issue.
These both phones have virus problem which is there in its system/framwork/ and all files are compiled.
I tried Lineage-13.0-20170307-UNOFFICIAL-rolex which is for Redmi 4A it works perfectly only 4 issues
External Spearker not Working
Wifi not working 02:00:00:000 mac problem with stock rom working fine
Camera not working
Fingerprint sensor
Other then above all working fine can someone from XDA community try to fix the issue ...?

After spending lot of time in research finally i compiled a custom ROM which works perfectly.
1. Wifi working
2 Camera : Working on it
3. Buletooth working
4. VoLTE Working
5. 4G all Airtel / Vodafone / BSNL and JIO
6. Fingerprint : Working on it but dosn't matter
8. Google Play Store Working - Now a days google not allowing their play store on non certificated devices.

After installation boot animation was shown and

The shutter button hangs for me after trying to take a picture no matter if hdr is on or off. I think it's either working only on global rom or Indian variant of 8a. I'm not sure how to tell which variant u have unless u bought it there locally. I'm currently on EU rom instead of global but the model my 8a is global version with more bands since I ordered it online. Also I think gcam is supposed to work if these are showing but it doesn't for some reason

After testing multiple GCAMs and performing multiple tests. The only cameras that i found compatible are: Camera Go, GCAM version 3 and some versions 4. Also a version 5 but without HDR +.
The rest of GCAM does not work on Redmi 8A.

lens blur is very bad in stock 32bit rom
you can use gcam 6.x if you install 64bit miui

64bit gcam link plz
I've found this port of gcam for redmi 8a. Everything works except for the front camera. If you want front camera to work you need to enable hdr+ for front cam in settings which will break the main camera. Also there is a button for night sight. It is very reliable.

If you installed miui 12 and the photo quality is very bad, this port is a real lifesaver! Unrelated but is it just me or does miui 12.0.1 update destroy the camera quality?

It was working before I installed custom rom (64 bit) in my phone.
It just doesn't show any image after opening.
Please help me this gcam was the best one I had and I don't want to go back to miui to run this
