On the latest Stable rom, it's possible to have a first look on the Dark Mode on our Mi Mix2.
If you connect your phone with Android Auto on your Car (also work if you use Android Auto on your device) in night mode, Miui will also activate the dark/night mode .
If you open Settings, Miui will switch back to "day" mode.
You will get a dark System UI, Phone and Messages

Do you have night mode on developer options? try that one.
I don't remember if it was present in stable ROM but it's for sure in xiaomi.eu weekly rom.
Do you have any issues will call quality in that ROM? It was unusable for me

On stable global there is no night mode in developer settings, it was added in xiaomi.eu because this one is based on beta releases.
I don't have any issues with call quality.

After update the app does not work as well as it was. Maybe someone has the old 7.1.3 apk?

The app puts gps dots on the map and connects them with a line, this is how it measures the route. After the update the dots are so far away, that it cuts corners. We rode with a friend he tracked 32 Km, me - 26. Pretty significant difference. He was using the older app and I had the new ver. 8.
I can not confirm, works very well for me.

The blue one is endomondo, the red one is where I drove. I stopped at the red light (the black line) and the turned left. I know gps does not always match satellite view, but look how it cut the corner.
It's most often not the app's fault, but the spotty GPS strength. Sport trackers use very frequent updates so even a 2-3 sec outage can "cut corners". That's why I switched to RunKeeper - it does not fix the spotty GPS marks, but at least you can easily edit your route afterwards, unlike Endomondo.
I use two gig based apps to make some extra $$$: EasyShift and GigWalk. Since the lastest VZW update this past weekend, I get a force close when trying to launch the EasyShift app. The error message is "The 'Allow mock locations' develops setting must be disabled for this application to work" I have spoken with Verizon tech support Tier 2, Google Tech Support and Samsung Premiere Tech support - all with no helpful fixes. I have never rooted my phone before and would prefer to leave it stock. The developer settings don't have the simple on/off feature as I have noticed researching on the internet. If anyone can help I really would appreciate it. I am running a Verizon S7. These apps are a great way to pick up some extra money and I sure could use it. Thanks!

It is called "Pseudo-Standort-Apps" maybe you have the choice to choose none instead of your app

Option not working
Sorry, but this option is not the solution. I am also using the Galaxy S7 edge and after choosing "no Apps" for the mock location the message still appears. In my case it is the Ember game that is still not working.

I got the Miui v8 update today so thought of sharing the review.
1. New theme, looks way cooler than the old default theme.
2. Status bar changed, looks like they went back to the single page status bar with toggles and notifications on the same page.
3. Notifications popup changed, looks way cooler now.
4. Dual app feature. This allows us to use 2 instances of the same app. Which means now u can login to 2 whatsapp accounts on your single phone without any rooting or anything.
5. Battery charging time displayed in status bar.
6. Screenshot now has option to copy full scroll
I'll post more as i discover them, others are welcome to share their experience.:highfive:
And btw, v8 is still based on Android Lolipop v5.0

Got the update on 19th.
And yes it much more lighter and very responsive. They have changed many apps including dialer.
Still on android 5.0.2 lollipop

I flashed my Poco X3 pro with Pixel Plus UI and i'm loving it so far, except gcam. Whenever I decided to record a video it becomes a blurry mess when saved to the library.
Does anyone know how to fix the issue? I think it's depending on the gcam itself, here's what I've been using: MGC-8.1.101-A9-PV3-MGC-libgcststartup-TN270721R

i did find this on Dot OS , to solve this i recommand reflashing PPUI or flashing MIUI back and after PPUI , the gcam has no problems is software ,do as i said because there is no other solution.
Hello, I just changed from Xiaomi Mi 8 (Miui 12) to Xiaomi 12 (Miui 14) and now I am having problems with notifications on MI HOME app. I dont receive notifications. It is the only app where i have this problem. I have already tried everything (reinstall, clear cache, no power restrictions, auto start...) but no sucess. Can you help me? Thanks in advance.
