i am not responsible for any damaged devices, bricked phones or dead sdcards.
RESERVED.
i will update the thread as miui updates the rom
MiUi Update came on 24 Oct. Because of Some issues/problems I can't update it instantly.
But I am still alive and I will update it in future also.
Many people directly get notifications in MiUi rom to update to new version. So they don't always watch my thread for updates.
You can delete this thread if you want (if you can) . Thanks.
Hello, this ROM is stable or in beta version? Bugs?

Beta tester

If I want to get beta ROM for my mi a1.
How can I do that?
Xiaomi opened up the beta program on their forums a while ago. I don't think they're accepting new applications at this moment but you could always keep an eye out on their forums and see if and when they reopen the program to new users.
You have three choices.
1) Go back in time and apply for a beta tester when it was open.
2) You wait until Xiaomi decides to let new beta testers in.
3) Flash the stock betas via fastboot/TWRP which you can find on xda.

The better 9.0 ROM

Hi to all!!
Which is the Pie's ROM more complete & stable for OPO actually?
All the pie ROM ( POSP, Pixys , ArrowOS and Tuga) available are stable now. And a thread is already available on your same topic. Kindly search thru forum before starting a unwanted thread. Pleade delete this thread.
The question was for a Version 9 In this moment, the most of customer version are still beta (with version 9) or didn't start / released a bind public. From my personal view : try one of the first version which is available or still stay on Oreo and read the comments, where you can get an overview if the version ok for you or not.
Which an older phone, I was living with a GPS Bug several years... It's your choise
i would say use Arrow for this reasons:
1- it's the stablest
2- doesn't have Video playback issue as some users have got on other roms
3- gives a good SOT

I suggest a clean flash. Dirty flash broke my Bluetooth.

I don't understand the purpose of these threads.. all the updates on beta are available on miui forums plus there are existing threads on XDA itself.
Please stop creating multiple threads on the same topic.
Works ok for me after dirty flashing, even bluetooth is working as expected.
Touch seems to be fine, I was having trouble on latest 8.11.xx where the sensitivity was too low.
Now it seems to be fixed and I can use this piece of sh . . . technology as I should ...
Btw, I used the method of "fastboot boot recovery blablabla.img" to install it, maybe it helps.
flash the laters beta 8.12.6 and thens extrene kernel v5 65hz and thank me later
Region is not changing its only showing china...!
Thanks for this, however there's no need for more threads of this kind.
If you want you can continue here:

The section is already cluttered. So, please do understand.

6T only at this time
can we directly flash from beta to stable without data loss? And do I get beta updates afterwards in the future?
Read the second post in the official OP6 forum link above.
How to install and consequences
1. Pie Open Beta to A10 Open Beta: Via OTA, no data loss.
2. Pie Stable to A10 Open Beta: By installing the beta package mentioned in the beta thread, no data loss.
3. A10 Developer Preview to A10 Open Beta: By installing the beta package mentioned in the beta thread, no data loss.
4. A10 Open Beta to Stable Pie / Pie Open Beta rollback: Use the rollback package in the Developer Preview 1 thread or the one in A10 Beta 1 thread, will constitute data loss.
5. A10 Open Beta to A10 Stable: No information as of yet if this can be directly done. History suggests that you need to use the rollback package to go back to Stable Pie and then either wait for the Stable A10 OTA or do a local upgrade to A10. Will constitute data loss.
Note: Initial reports say dirty flashing doesn't wipe data. But do it with precautions.
6. Pie Stable to A10 Stable: Via OTA, no data loss.
Note: As a precaution, it is always adviced to take a backup before any major android upgrade.

I prefer to wait a week longer for more stability and battery life. Let's hope the best

That space is beyong ugly, I'm going to wait a while before I will upgrade. A couple of things coming with 10 I already have using Macrodroid so no problemo ..

There is a bug with the fingerprint sensor. They can either release it and people start complaining and blaming OnePlus for releasing unfinished stuff or fix it and release it properly.
Thread without link download consider as scam post.. lol
I guess this is technically "news" but overall this thread is useless since stable 10 is not available for the OP6 yet.
What a clickbait. It's not out yet
UPDATE on Nov 4:
UPDATE on Nov 4:
OnePlus 6 users will gradually receive the update starting from later today. We welcome your active feedback via the feedback tool. With more issue reports and logs, the team can quickly focus on the issues and fixing them and then release the update to more users.
Well, it's not clickbait since they released it and then pulled it due to bug. And now is back again and I except the rollout to be even slower now, just in case.
There is a reasons like this why companies use staged rollout.
