Yesterday I updated from Android 8.0 to 9.0 using the latest Hicare app. It was successful. I was able to use it for half a day then i noticed there are occasional reboots. In the evening when I was browsing the internet using the phone, it rebooted then got stuck in the huawei logo.
can somebody help how to fix this please? downgrade?
thank you.

Thanks for the suggestion. I will do that when I get back my phone from the service center. They said that they already reflashed my phone but it still keeps on rebooting at the huawei logo.
UPDATE:
Huawei service center said they already did a software flash. The phone is still in boot loop. RIP mate 9.

Hi,
New to XDA. I have also tried to install marshmallow with the same result. Have tried everything that was mentioned above but the only update.APP software the phone can read is the B513 update.
O had this same issue while updating to Marshmallow. But I sorted it out and now my phone is working. I installed B500 first, by force updating. After successfully update, phone restarted and still stuck on the same Huawei logo. Then I put the lollipop firm on my scars and force updated the phone again. Then it took a while but finally phone started working. Then after some days I received an OTA update of Marshmallow and I updated my mobile successfully.
Hi everybody,
Ive updated my Mate 9 to Android 8 by FF. I used an aproved update by imei. No bootloader open or rooted phone. just normal update.
Now when i boot, phone shows me the Huawei eRecovery and wants to download the lastest version but I dont know why. I try to download by wifi and says there is a problem...any ideas? That means its bricked?
Please help
Happened to me too in a different updating scenario. I unplugged from usb and booted into recovery. Wiped cache then factory reset phone and it was fixed.

Hi guys,
from last one week I was experimenting new roms for my oneplus one. In order to install oreo rom, someone suggested to update twrp recovery to 3.2 wherein I was using 3.0.1. So I did!!
First i tried with official twrp app it showed successful but I was not able to boot into recovery mode. It got stuck in oneplus logo. But it was booting fine to os (oxygen os).
To fix this issue I found one post on XDA to run FIRSTAID.BAT file and I did.. Now, my phone is not booting at all. It was worst decision of my life to follow that monkey.
I feel my phone is soft bricked and not even getting detected in pc.
CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!:crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying::crying:

Check this link out Root and install TWRP
Then try googling for custom ROMs or just get the stock ROM itself and reflash it.
The problem you are facing is called bootloop. Is it booting to safe mode? Try checking that out too.

Doing anything is (almost) impossible without TWRP. Is there no version that supports yours? If none, you might just have 2 options : get a new phone or Develop them yourself(Takes time but that's a lot of fun, frustration and fear combined when done for the first time). Which one do you choose?

Or wait a sec, is your phone powered by mediatek? And is it booting to recovery? If yes, attach an image of the recovery.
