Hello, and thank you in advance for your help! I use MX Player Pro mostly for watching technology training movies on the go. Frequently, I encounter content that I'd like to be able to jump back to when I get back to my desk. Is there a way to bookmark within a video?
For more or less the same reason, is there a way to "favorite" a video?
Settings > Player > Resume
That will make it remember last playback position.
There's no favouriting videos. Though, you could get a similar result in a roundabout ray by moving videos to a "favourites" folder.
Greetings,
MX Player is the best!!
I just wanted to one-up this request for a bookmarking feature simular to mvideo's. It's very hard to find this feature even though the demand for the feature seems to be high. Mvideo has it, but doesn't play in the background.
VLC has it, but only on their Windows player, not their android player. MX Player is the best player and I believe this feature would make MX Player even more popular.
Thank you for the great player amd your time and consideration.

We are sorry to keep you waiting. We prioritise the feature requests based on the user demand, feasibility and other business priorities. So, we may not be able to provide any timeline at the moment. However, we will review this again based on the user requests and prioritise this if it found to be useful for more users.
I think we need this features, due to easy search for video clips section, especially for business people and students. you should reconsider for your application to be more complete
This feature is needed.
Really want this
I am creating an application on Android Google TV. And I want to Play HD channels and HD movies in that Application. The app is mostly finished the only part which is left that I want to embed MX player in that application. I have gone through lot of various methods to make that happen but all in vain. And if I try to download the MX player it gives me the APK file.
I am in a dead corner now, Any help regarding how to embed the MX player in latest google TV's application or getting the hands on the open source code library for playing UDP and multicast links would be dearly appreciated.
Hi,
Just got my S7 Edge in the post today
and coming from/abandoning IOS
i feel a little out in the blue
I have been using the Infuse Media app for ios for a long long time
and for me it feels like that app got everything.
what's important for me that i'm looking for is the following
- Play media from NAS/network storage.
- Subtitle support (online and saved subtitles locally).
- Download files/videos from network storage/NAS.
- Chromecast support (maybe AirPlay too)
- Swipe fastforwarding option.
dose anyone know any media app that is identical to the Infuse one i've been using with these functions?
it would be of great help for a new android/samsung user.
Kodi seems to be the most popular alternative for infuse. I haven't used it myself but worth giving it a shot.
Kodi or Plex will give you full media player capability. I just use File Manager HD to browse my NAS, and view thru MX player, which allows substtitles to be downloadsled. When playing thru a NAS, the filename received by MXplayer isnsome weird coded thing, so MX can't automatically locate subtitles, I just enter the name manually and it gets me the subs I need.
You should try the MX Player app. According to me this is the best video player for Android.
I have also migrated from ios recently and kodi is what you are looking for. It's the best on Android.

Your app has became great after support of av1 codec it's the last thing I needed for a proper video player.
But, one thing I need to remind you. WE DON'T NEED ANY OF THOSE SILLY GAMES AND SHOWS THAT YOU GIVE TO INDIAN USERS. Ok? Don't bring it out of India. A media player should be stay as a media player. I think this is what most international community wants. Don't kill my hope.
MX player is the best media player right now. It's not super simplified and very convenient, unlike vlc. UI is great and most importantly they listen to the community. I hope MX Player will be still my favorite app for years to come
