RadioAPP : How to Map Radio Scan Function ? - MTCD Android Head Units Q&A

Hi,
there is a way to map a physical button (steering wheel or on head unit) to the Scan function (up & down) of Radio Application.
Currently the Scan Function is only by Touch :

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Currently the NEXT Button is mapped to "Next Memorized Station".
I'd like to map a NEXT LONG PRESS to "Scan Up". It is possible ?
I'd like a mapping like this :
NEXT SHORT PRESS -> Next Memorized Station
NEXT LONG PRESS -> Scan Frequency Up
PREV SHORT PRESS -> Prev Memorized Station
PREV LONG PRESS -> Scan Frequency Down

I solved installing the Hal9k ROM that gives the possibility to remap the steering wheel buttons to any function you want.

[APP]prBoomX - Doom for touch devices

Hey all!
ClarkDawg of prboom4android - Project Hosting on Google Code (or Doom4Android from awhile back)
Made a working Doom emulator that uses Freedoom (other wads can be applied, just not downloaded from the app). Unfortunately the version supplied on the project site has no way of shooting, strafing, etc, with touch only devices.
I downloaded the source yesterday and have successfully added controls to the app, so now it IS playable!

Install Instructions:
- Download App
- Click Install Wad's (if it errors, hit cleanup, then quit and re-open, then try again)
- Click Install Sounds (leave, re-open)
- Check Fullscreen (or not)
- Check Virtual DPad (will activate dpad and buttons)
Changelog:
1.1 Beta - Built off of 1.0Beta of prBoom4Android
- Has fire, use, strafe, enter, options and map buttons
- Strafe is a modifier, mean click it to turn on, and click to turn off
Known Issues:
- Pressing and holding a button then moving off the button causes the button to fire until pressed again (should fix this next build)
- Indicator lights sometimes stay lit

[Tablet AOKP tips] Hide bottom bar

Hello,
I want to share with you a trick that allows you to hide the bottom bar (status bar / system bar).
Why hide it?
- Avoid pressing a button by mistake which would close the application in progress.
- Keep children on their current game.
>>> valid for AOKP rom based android 4+
The principle is to add the buttons on the bottom bar in the menu power button. A button will be more available and will hide / display the bottom bar. This is not a hack, it is a native function of AOKP rom!
Enable the menu bar in the menu power:
- Settings / ROM control / power options / check "show nav bar»
By holding the power button, you will see an additional line containing the home button back and forth between each other. Then the first button is a toggle to hide or show the bottom bar (bar system). Nothing extraordinary, but good to know!
I looked for a long time an app or a method to hide the bottom bar. But there are few and there is either too much or pay options. Then, by chance, I came across the tip of the AOKP rom.
If i helped you, then, press my thanks button

[app][2.2+]standby touch advanced

Put your phone to standby with a touch of your finger.
Have you ever wanted to:
✭ Easily put the phone to sleep without searching for the Power button
✭ Turn off Wi-Fi, Data or Sound when you go to Sleep with one touch
✭ Reactivate them when you Wake up with one touch
✭ Use the app without worrying of ads or spying on you. No nasty permission requirements, no internet data needed.
✭ Free, free, free
Then you'll LOVE Standby Touch Advanced!
HERE IS HOW TO USE IT
1. When the app is installed, for the first time the Settings screen will be shown. Simply press the Enable Admin Permission button and then drag the Stand by Icon from App's drawer where you want to have it. Each time you press the icon, the phone will go to standby.
2. If you want to use the Sleep Mode, go to Settings and press on the Zzzzz mode button. You can select which options to be disabled (Sound to Silent, Data Off, Wifi Off), on which interval of hours and how long the options will be displayed. If you check any of the options, next time you press the Standby icon, for a short period of time you will see 2 icons:
- the Sleep icon (with the moon) on it, if you press it, it will disable the options you have selected
- the Wake icon (with the sun) on it, if you press it, it will enable the options you have selected.
The icons are only displayed for the amount of time set by you. If you don't press any of them, the phone will go to standby as normal.

How to get to the "one-handed" action to incorporate it into app shortcut gestures [Android 12]

Hello!
I am testing a very good gesture application that I recommend "Edge Gestures" and its add-on which is "Power Shortcut" .
What I want to do is to get the action/activity that enables the "one handed mode" of android 12 to place it in this gesture app "Edge gestures".
I am going to skip how to use "edge gestures" as it is like any other app that allows to use shortcut, but its add-on "Power shortcut" allows to use advanced system actions that can further increase the range of possibilities. And here my doubt, what would be the exact action that allows to use "one handed". Here are the screenshots of the main application and its add-on so that you can see what it is all about.
1- Main App, as an example I enter a gesture for a shortcut action.

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I then choose the companion app to allow me to add more actions.
I have multiple ways to add a quick action
I choose "activity" and then I can choose advanced system actions. From my ignorance I can suppose that the action I need can be there.
=>
Or else here ("Intent" option) which is much more complicated than just selecting a default action, you have to put in an exact address perhaps to get to that function (data&type)
=>
As you can see I am probably not very clear and I am navigating in a sea of assumptions in this puzzle, but I have faith that there is someone who can quickly understand what I need to do to find that precious requirement.
Thanks for getting here
Hello, i see that nobody replied, have you managed to find a way?
