NOTE: Samsung has confirmed the Android Pie update for Galaxy J7 (2017), so you'll get all Pie apps when the update is completed.
This post will no longer be updated since I'm not using this device anymore.
You can still try to update the compatible apps to newer versions if they are available (maybe they could work).
Don't expect incompatible apps to install in the future, unless until the Pie update.

You'll need to clone the app (read notes below), install the cloned app AND SET IT AS THE DEFAULT LAUNCHER (if this is not done it won't work). It may crash sometimes.

To clone an app:
You'll need to install App Cloner: https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/applisto/app-cloner/
Open App Cloner.
Go to the folder icon on the top left corner.
Click on the round + icon that has appeared on the bottom right corner and select "From a file".
Find the APK you donwloaded and open it. It may take a few minutes.
Once it is open, click the tick (✓) icon and wait a couple of minutes.
Install the app.
This process doesn't mean that you can install anything. If the app is not compatible due to the architecture or Android version required, or the cloned app crashes, you can't make anything to solve it.

Samsung Notes and Samsung Email works fine on 7.0 stock rom, but the Samsung Email is a bit downscaled.

Yes, if the app is compatible with previous versions of Android it can also be installed on Nougat.

I have installed Samsung home experience 10.0.00.55
By Appcloner and I made it the default app for my device so far I have not had any problem except that the shortcuts on the home screen (below) are without names. The option to hide the application when you press and hold an application that has not been added.
-Added option (app info) again (not in version Oreo 8.1 and found in Nougat version 7.0)
-The rotation of the home screen works well except that the icons when turning (landscape) are small and inappropriate.
Note: My device is j730f Oreo 8.1

Always On is not compatible, and Samsung Experience Home needs to be cloned.

And maybe you cannot select the Samsung Weather widgets, they are only available in the original launcher (cloning an app makes it different for Android).

For me the weather widgets works well.
Only when adding it to home screen shows notice samsung home experienc crash and then works fine.

Hi I am on Android 10 10.0.1 with xXx and I am not able to open my numeric keypad in the Dialer App, but everything works... If I open the keypad, it immediately Force Closing. I also using Dark Theme everywhere.
So my Question is does someone have also this Problem ??
I don't think that it is a bug in xXx Rom. I think it's definitely a bug in the app. My Dialer App Version is 4.5.0.

disable theme overlay, always check version of mod and make sure it for that app version.
Uninstall updates, than install latest from Play store. The one you have is for beta 4 and 5, doesn't work well on stable ROM.

It is because Multistar is unplugged, and there needs to be an update for it.
Probably after the update it will work.
Nice Lock on the play store is working for now, until Samsung update the GoodLock modules. I've only tried it with Multistar but that works perfectly.
Hi,i have installed oplauncher using magisk and its been installed successfully but whatever 3rd party launcher i use in stock samsung rom or beyond rom etc other than asop rom i get this wierd problem.whenever i close an app and open other app the screen slickers a sec and launching the app. i've done some googling and what i got is only samsungs one ui got this problem because some said the stock launcher is tied with the gesture navigations. is there any magisk modules or any other root method can solve my problem?
if you wait for a second on home screen after closing an app then this issue won't happen. But as soon as you closed an app and touch the screen home screen flashes for once.

Interesting. Then best to use stock launcher in OneUI roms.
My S10e model G870U does not have this problem, using free version of Apex Launcher Classic on stock Samsung OS (OneUI 2.1).
