Can mate 9 be rooted on android 9 if I still have my bootloader unlock code? HuRUpdater says it might relock my bootloader updating to it

Atm I have rooted FRD-L09 Honor8 EMUI 4.1 model, so what is the way to unroot my phone and update to EMUI 5 ?
For me it worked from SuperSU

You can downgrade to lock bootloader or use fastboot command
downgrade l29 to 7.0 so i can unlock bootloader? i have the last firmware that wont brick it so want to downgrade it to 7.0 then try to unlock its bootloader
