Hi guys hope you are having a nice sunday.
I am facing a quite annoying issue after flashing Nethunter on my Oneplus One: every time I boot the phone, the device gets stuck for about 6/7 minutes on the 1+ logo, then the animation appears for few seconds before it finally boots.
I have had this issue with stock CM12.1+Nethunter 3 for OPO CM12.1, and now I am having it with a CM13 nightly + a custom Nethunter that works on CM13. In both cases the device boots up in seconds until flashing nethunter.
I did try to reflash once again (just in case) and I still have the same problem.
Scenario:
Wipe the whole device
Flash CM13 (or 12.1)
Flash Gapps
Reboot and configure android
Reboot again to test boot speed - it boots up super fast
Go to recovery again and flash Nethunter
Wipe dalvik+cache
Reboot
From now on it takes 6/7 minutes to boot
Liveboot Log (only appears during kali animation though, not sue it's logging what happens during the kernel logo):
txt log file > drive.google.com/file/d/0B7y82quVQHh6elliMmFXdUJFSjQ/view?usp=sharing
virus check > virustotal.com/it/url/60a0f8536b0053f104a5d8dcf06a8cc27f89736d0fd915572b75790e12cad031/analysis/1456660030/
Tried with many versions of TWRP (from 2.6 to 3.0.1), nothing. Also, when I boot into recovery, I see the recovery logo for about 5 minutes before I can actually get into the recovery.
I hope someone has got an idea about how to fix this, as you can understand it's very frustrating having a phone that takes half of a big bang theory episode to boot.
Let me know if I can provide more info about my device!
Thanks a lot.

My 2013 nexus 7 hangs on the google logo for about 5 minutes as well so I guess it's normal :/
What are the main purposes of NetHunter? It seems like it's some kind of counter offensive security tool or some network backdoor discovery tool. I've never heard of this before.
@noahvt it is not normal, I have tried to reproduce the same situation on a friend of mine's device which is exactly the same as mine, same baseband, same kernel, same nightly rom, same file for Nethunter, an exact copy of my phone. His phone boots in seconds.. It's not normal, especially when boot to recovery it shouldnt hang for 5 minutes on the recovery logo.

Nethunter is basically a Kali Linux port for Android, which allows you to pentest your network. A bit of googling will give you more info about it.

Just built my own version of it and it boots slow as well on my one+ so don't know what's wrong :/
I have the same issues also, the main OS feels pretty unstable (had it freeze on me twice and had to hard reboot it), gonna try a different base maybe Calkulin's or a previous CM 12.1 build.

I wish you good luck, though I've tried both CM12.1 and CM13 and unfortunately had the same issue. Hope it will do the trick for you!
hello pLx_, i got same trouble, but i install patch "kernel-nethunter-flocm-marshmallow-3.1.0" from "https://idlekernel [dot] com/nethunter/nightly/" (flocm, not flo!) and its works fine.
hope it will help you.

Yes. It might be a battery issue. Just change your battery
Hi everyone. I have a very weird problem and I'm losing my mind trying to figure it out. I was running lineage os 16.my camera got blurry so I got my back cover removed to check what happened and then replace the camera after removing the board, and when I assembled my phone it turns on but directly could not see even the Rom loading screen, only bootloader in a constant bootloop. I flashed the Rom again with same result. then I decided to flash stock Rom again and after flashing a couple of firmware without sucess I managed to install a versión of oreo that shows the huawei logo and it's stuck there for 10 minutes and then boot to recovery. sometimes I get the message that the data partition is severely corrupted so i perform a factory reset and then the phone shows the huawei logo for 1 second and restart again into recovery and then again and again. I flashed again lineage with same result, 10 minute loading screen and then boot into recovery. I also installed twrp to format all the partition in case some of them are corrupted for some reason but the result is the same. at this point I'm hopeless and amazed because I didn't touch anything to harm the phone while replacing the camera. any help would be really appreciated
My redmi note 7 pro keeps rebooting when trying to start. It tries to boot into os but fails & keeps rebooting.
I can access fastboot & recovery. I tried eu, mmx, evox nothing boots. I formated data too.
In evox it comes to google logo & then restarts.
This problem started when i changed the battery.
I tried installing the old battery but didn't work.
Hey guys so I recently got into flashing gsi images.I managed to flash aosp 9.0 gsi without any hiccups. But I dint leave it there
I then decided to try unofficial android 10 a build of resurrection remix.
Flashed perfectly fine after flash I decided to reboot back to recovery first , upon reboot to recovery the device proceeds to skip recovery, boot and hangs on the remix boot logo for 20 30 mins.
Thought nothing of it, rom probably isn’t working on my device(flashed correct one aonly)
Easy fix boot recovery wipe, install new gsi. Bobs you uncle right.....wrong. It’s wiped my recovery some how.
Ok no stress I’ll just flash recovery again in fast boot easy.......nah
The issue I’m experiencing is my hard buttons are now playing up and when I can get into my menu for fast boot, bootloader and recovery.. I select any of them and then device black screens. No FASTBOOT DAFUQ
Edit:
I managed to get into fastboot after like 200+tries no cap, I thought finally. Erase system and flash new system image alongside a new recovery easy right nonono
My phone was on low battery by the time I managed and guess what, you can’t flash on low battery
So my phone died....
Now my device isn’t accepting charge lmaooo( says it charging. in off state, battery logo pops up but nope didn’t move been like 3h still red) when I get into fastboot i have like 30 sec to 1 min as my device is so low then it turns off.
So the rom I flashed has removed my recovery, messed up my hard buttons and stopped my phone from charging. So when I do get into fastboot I can’t anything due to the battery not charging.
This device is done for
It’s a paper weight
