Does anyone have a download for the official marshmallow ROM?

I've been waiting for over a year for Alcatel to release it OTA in my country but i'm guessing it ain't happening at this point...So I'll just install it manually. But I can't really find the official ROM uploaded anywhere, so I was wondering if any of you have it.
My phone isn't rooted but I imagine I can apply the update without rooting directly from storage, right? After all, it is the official ROM.

Have other Alcatel owners received the OTA update to MM in your country? Have you tried upgrading with the Alcatel upgrade program?

I don't believe anyone else has, but I'm not sure, I don't know anyone personally who has the phone besides me.
I haven't tried the desktop app (if that's what you mean), because I was under the impression that it would only restore my phone to it's default state...Besides I have had troubles in the past trying to get Alcatel's PC suite software to work.

If you use the desktop software, it should upgrade you to the latest ROM.
If the MM ROM has not been released for your phone's country and model #, there will be no official MM ROM for your phone and you will have to flash a MM ROM from another model or country.

So, the desktop software will still only upgrade me if there is an official ROM out for my country?

Yes, mobile upgrade will take the phone to the latest android version for your model and country.

I just tried the mobile upgrade software with my french 6045Y. I'm still blocked with the 5.0.2...

same case with my Chilean 6045B, blocked at 5.0.2 (with a OTA of oct of 2016)

If the phone doesn't get upgraded to mm via Alcatel upgrade software, there is no official mm for the phone/country.

I'm having similar trouble with my phone
I flashed Lineage 14.1 on my Idol 3 (6045B), and it worked right, but its not detecting my simcard, and it doesn't show an IMEI.
I read somewhere that I'll have to flash the modem, but I dont have the proper file... Did you find any solution?

NO TWRP FOR C7 OREO! but i can make root for oreo

When will the root be available for oreo?
And also i am surprized that no one made a custom rom for this device since its 2017 model.

I have samsung c7 pro and baseband version is c7010zhu1aqc4
So it's eligible for oreo or not?

2nd :then hold power key and select reboot then press vlo down+power+home for odin mode

Ok, looks like A750GNDXU2ASB4 (PDA)(Android Oreo) is the latest version for your phone. Android Pie is not yet released for your region. Buy I am sure it will be released real soon. :fingers-crossed:

I dont know. But you cant believe anything a Samsung community moderator says. They are not at the level to know when how or where it will be released

plz help me to root this device s9 plus based on android 10 UI 2.1 and binary is U9 or plz give me the link were i can download pre rooted firmware for this

Downloading July 1 security patch now. 1069.68mb in size. Updated to Oneui 2.1.

This update broke my internet. Had to do a factory reset to get it back.

F firmware will most likely not flash on an M model.
Plus, this thread is only for when official updates roll out to the phone and not for flashing new software on the phone.

I'll give it a try. I already have F firmware on M variant, no difference. I'll probably just need to use patched Odin.

If it sure works, what I'm not sure how to root in android 12.
When you do your tests you tell us how it works.

It won't work in odin as the MD5 checks won't work, they are different from the F to the M version.

Android 12 rolls out for Israel, Croatia, Slovania, Serbia and Poland.

i just got the update on my A525M and ........... i can see where it needs polishing. swiping right on the home screen to open google now its not as good as android 11 and stuttering else where. anyone else notice these bugs?

First release of Android 12 for the A525M in the Panama region.

Roll out in India and Vietnam for the A525F.

Anyone with a A525F/DS get the update?

I get today the Android 12 update in MXO stock rom
