Hi there. I was using google sans fonts on my note 9 and I really liked it. Tried to use the same apk on my s10+ but it doesn't install.
Anyone with a working apk or another solution without root?
Samsung/Google blocked the ability to install custom overlays/fonts on this series of Galaxy S10/+/e. This means no custom .apk fonts, or Substratum themes, etc.
Not until we get root, that is. Once with root, all of the above should be possible.
I tried doing it with themegalaxy, would not install the font apk
Use the Samsung Sans font that is pre-installed on the phone which is a copycat of Google Sans font
Neue Plak Regular Latin FlipFont is pretty nice. It's also pretty close to Product Sans. It's on the Galaxy store. I just could not handle the stock fonts and found this one.
Hate that I can't use all my fonts from my s8, I at least found Harmonia Sans Condensed in the galaxy store and it's not too bad. I miss my bauhaus font

Google Sans (or Product Sans, which I think is the correct name) looks awesome on my S9+ -- not being able to apply it on my S10+ is a bummer.
There's also no obvious way to get into the font store so as to upload my own official packs. Yikes

Because Samsung want to maximize their revenue from their trash galaxy store with fonts, themes, and icons which I never use because all of them are trash. I would like Samsung CEO can see all posts about their stupid things for block all 3rd party overlay. I'm sure this S10+ will be my last samsung phone in my life. I will get new Pixel when it comes out.

That's absolutely right. And Sammy's software seems much more stable: Google actually releases updates for the Pixel that have crippled key functions.

I see everyone talking about this black theme, but I can't find it anywhere on my VZW S6. I've gone to the theme store a few times to triple check that I'm not just missing it. Maybe the vzw S6 didn't get the update yet?

Universe is an all black theme. Has space wallpapers but the icons are not like the space theme.
Hopefully they open it up to developers so we can get more themes. What we currently have, is a bunch of crapola that reminds me of the LG theme store. Who the heck designs this stuff?
I just wish we could create our own custom theme or at least chose icon packs or status bar colors

The Marvel themes seem pretty complex and they change quite a bit which is a good sign. Hopefully once themers can get their hands on it there will be plenty of options to choose from. Play Store availability would be a great incentive to app developers so hopefully that's a possibility as well.

It's kind of hard to find all of them. Go to the last one on the bottom in the category "Fanciful Drawings & Illust" click on theme. Scroll to bottom and you can click on more by that author. I don't know why they aren't just all listed on the main screen. It is kind of dumb.

Samsung changed it sometime between yesterday and today. The author was cogul planet. Now it is gone. Not sure why they removed it. There is now a few new ones though by that author. I'm sure it is going to keep changing for a while. Hopefully they give us more options and more control like the themes for Sense 7

Arlo P. Hatherton. He's a designer who works for the S. And you're hurting his feelings.
one thing i have found is that i might like a Theme but dont like the wallpaper like on SMS or Dialer and wish i could use their icons and dialer layout but not their wallpaper.
i am very happy as Themes and rows and columns were 2 of the big reasons i would root and with this kind of advancement i am less likely to care.
I've only had it for a day. At first I was pissed at how locked down it was, but I didn't want a refund. I decided to wait it out.
In the meanwhile, I'm running novalauncher, free "sci-fi" theme from the galaxy theme store, and Maxelus live wallpapers. Still really cool. The camera is great too.

I loved Nova Prime on my note 2, and still do. I just wish the spen worked the same. I use the spen much more often now to want to change my launcher.

Tried out adgaurd. Not working great for me. Using the free trial and have a local VPN set. Still get ads on YouTube. Still get some ads in my reddit app. I can see it is working because some ads are missing their image but others still get through. Am I doing something wrong?
So far that's the biggest noticeable change from running rooted devices for me.

The theme aspect is a beautiful addition. Package disabler pro great for disabling bloat and points bloat out for you. Adguard great for ad removal. Many of us miss root, but not much left for me to care anymore. Helium seems iffy at times, but i think baking up data & restoring is one thing still missing overall.

It's the dark material theme from the theme store that's built in the S6 and Note 5. There are quite a few good and free themes available.
I don't have any plans to root my note 5. I feel that I have everything I desire in a phone already.
The only thing I miss about having a rooted phone is being able to use my PS3 controllers with it.

I hear ya, I have only one thing i really miss too. I miss being able to change system locale settings. I'm tired of the American google maps tts, I think the UK female voice is smoother.
Not sure if that one thing is worth me worrying about tripping knox though.

From what I know, I don't think the Theme system in the EMUI5 offer something liken this. In fact, what they offer can barely be called Themes, since they change only the wallpapers and icons.

Is there not a Theme store like in other Huawei phones? I know some people used VPN to change their location to China and ran tunnelbear to get themes from the Huawei theme store. Emui theme engine doesn't have fully compatible themes yet... Older themes works but colors and graphics are not aligned well...
But it definitely have a fantastic theme engine that changes even third party apps and fonts. Not only icons and wallpapers

Look(in other branches) my work is "Planet M" "Tron" and others. On EMUI 5 can make a full theme ( with the changes, settings, system UI, launcher, apps, etc.). Just not enough time.

How do you know the info about the EMUI's "great" theme engine? It seems weird that having such a nice engine as you said, they offer very basic themes that change only wallpapers and icons.

copy it to your phone into the /HWthemes folder
launch themes application you will find it under "me"

If ur on the EU rom grey area v10 is great theme. In notification settings check use app icons. Looks good.

not sure if it relates to region, my default region is Ukraine, but when setting it to UK or Italy - i have the same themes in preinstalled Themes App.
and just in case, what store did you mean? Play Store? if yes, than you will not found it in play store, it is one of Mi "Native"/user themes.

When you buy the pro version, you can add .tff font and build it for your device. One of my favorite fonts was Comic Sans , now I can use it again xD lovely.

Product Sans can't be added on that list as its Google's proprietary. You can download product sans including bold italics and create as your custom font package.

I appreciate all the hard work and effort you've put into this app, and also finding a way to use custom fonts on Samsung's devices.

It seems that samsung finally managed to block custom fonts and custom themes as well. I am not jumping into the conclusion. It might be a bug because the official samsung themers still have to use their device to test their themes. Let's wait and see.

I just bought the new Samsung Galaxy S10e and the app crashed on me and Samsung has blocked this. Themegalaxy has now said the same thing.
