Hello all,
I am trying to build a working customer kernel. I followed the "official" steps from source.android.com/setup/build/building-kernels#building-b1c1 and got a kernel file with some .ko files. Only problem is that when I flash it, the touch screen does not respond to touches. It only displays stuff. Anybody with a noob friendly step-by-step guide or maybe someone who knows the exact issue I have?
Thanks in advance.

Hello everybody
Recently, I found this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2233282. After a while testing it with the new method, I found out I had some bugs. I then wanted to test the old method, aka compiling the kernel + module from the debian image. The problem is, even with http://oldwiki.cyanogenmod.org/wiki/Building_Kernel_from_source I don't understand what to do. Do I have to type every single line, replacing the source with the debian image, with botbrew, or am I missing something (I surely am).
tl,dr how do I compile a kernel for this
I'm really new to all this stuff, but curiosity makes me want to go further. I hope somebody can help me a little bit.
Thanks in advance.

Hey everyone, My first post on here so please bear with me as this maybe in the wrong thread.
I purchased this tablet from eBay and it arrived with some form of custom KitKat 4.4.2 ROM installed on it which is all well and good all though i would like to:
Install Stock ROM
Root Device
Reason for wanting the stock ROM is because in theory it should be a lot more stable than what the device currently is but following both set of instructions on their website proves to not work at all (unless I'm doing something wrong as not found out how to enter download mode yet!).
Is there another way of installing these files at all? Also any help on getting into download mode and recovery mode properly would be of great assistance!
At this point could i also ask if there is a really good KitKat ROM for this device that will support the rockchip?
Then last of all i would like to root the device, Again any help would be greatly appreciated and all info regarding this device can be found on their website as i can't post links yet.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and hopefully someone can help.
Hey Guys,
I'm trying to get the G3 Tweaksbox up and going and I know I have to have TWRP installed to do so. I was speaking with another member of the forums about this on another thread. He did warn me in his post about installing TWRP on the specific build I'm running. He did mention that I would have to find another kernel due to some boot issues caused by a security error. I have searched high and low trying to find a guide on installing TWRP on 5.0.1 and haven't really had any luck. A few mentions, but no real guide. Would anyone be so kind as to point me in the right direction? I would really appreciate it. I'll post all phone specs below. Thanks in advance guys!!
Phone Specs:
ATT G3 D850
Lollipop 5.0.1
Kernel Ver: 3.4.0
Build #LRX21Y
If there is anything else needed just tell me and I'll provide any info needed. Thanks~
hi to all guys,
I explain the issue
I have a oppo find7a and until a few days ago I had the rom oppo spectrum with baseband 4. something ...
then I put the nameless 6.0 which has a baseband different, 3. something
the problem is that the nameless bothers me echo during calls (with the spectrum was all fine), I wanted to know if it is possible to extract the baseband from spectrum Rom and install it on nameless.
I am not entirely ignorant on the subject of IT and Androind, but I would not know how to do, so if anyone has ideas or can direct me to a tutorial, I would do a big favor.
Many thanks in advance
