Phone keeps waking up while charging - Xiaomi Mi Mix 3 Questions & Answers

When I'm charging the phone it keeps lighting the screen when the battery is under 100% (like when you plug the phone to the charger), charges up to 100% again and lights again the screen. It's pretty annoying specially during night. Does anybody had the same issue? It only happens when charging with usb-c charger, not with the wireless charger. I'm using EU rom 10.2 Stable.

Samsung i780 Charging Fault!?

Hi,
Can't seem to figure out whats wrong with my i780 so was wondering if anyone here has experienced similar problems.
My i780 don't seem to charge anymore when using the charging plug (plug it in, no charging light or charging symbol.. etc..)
Plug it in through USB, phone charges fine (charging light comes on, charging symbol displayed)
Now, I thought, oh must be the plug, so I tested it using the charging case... charging light comes on battery charges fine!!??
I would just forget about the plug but I can't seem to get a full charge just through USB.
So if my phone charges by USB, plug not working on the phone, but works with the charging case what could be wrong???
Anyone have any suggestions?
my i780 always show charg icon after upgrade...what the probem??????????/
i had the same problem as you. i sorted it out though. Do you mostly charge through the external charger?
i just kept on leaving it on charge for about an hour or so. Soft resetted the phone while on charge and then it worked fine. LED went on and the whole lot.
Try to charge your phone at least once a week with the battery in the phone. I can't prove that charging almost exclusively through the external charger does this but i have a suspicion. That is the only unusual thing about my usage pattern.
Has anyone had the same problem

[Q] Keeps charging at 100%

Hello,
When I charge my Nexus 5, the battery icon keeps on showing it is charging even so the battery is at 100%. Also my USB charger (not the one LG one) indicates that the device is still charging. Is this normal ? Would this damage the battery ?
Thanks
It's normal.

Thanks ! (But i just find this weird as I expected a device to stop at 100%)
I understand what you're saying but it's not a charging icon, it's a connected to power icon. If you were to use something like the dashclock extension it would show that it actually stopped charging once it reached 100%
Thanks for the reply.
The thing is that I have this charger http://www.portablepowersupplies.co.uk/portapow-quad-usb-mains-charger/) and the LED indicates charging (albeit I did not measure the current ).
Nice unit!
Are you connected to WiFi while charging? I had the really bad battery drain issue while connected to WiFi after the 4.4.2 update. I lost about 30% of charge after 4ish hours while connected. Currently I'm at 92% after 3 hours.
The WiFi battery drain could be causing your phone to not fully charge or at the very least make your charger THINK it's not fully charged. No harm should come of it either way but it's always best to pull your phone off the charger once it gets to 99-100%
Thanks for the reply. I had Wifi activated; it might be the reason.
My wireless charger LED didn't shut off when my N5 was charged in a powered off state. Usually it does once the battery is full.
That said, I don't think it's over-charging the battery, as that would be really bad

Don't worry about it. This isn't the 2000s where constant charging is an issue.
Just tried with the Wifi Off. My USB charger then indicates that the unit is not charging.
Thanks for the replies and great help.
Don't worry about it. The charger isn't the thing that determines how charging is handled, it's all done on the phone side. The phone knows how to take and stop taking power.
In the case of the Nexus 5, it most-likely stops charging the battery but continues using the power from the charger to actually power the unit (thereby no-longer using the battery to run the device, but not charging it any longer).

Does anyones wireless charger shut completely off when the V10 is fully charged?

I have the LG OEM Wireless Charging back and with both of my TYLT chargers the green light stays lit up even after the battery is full charged.
Anyone have a wireless that shuts off completely when the V10 is fully charged? If so, what brand and model?
On my Tylt Vu chargers, the green light pulses off and on every 10 seconds after the battery is full. Also using the LG CPR-120 official charging back.

Mine just stays lit green. The phone it's self shows the battery as full and not charging, I'm afraid to leave on the charger too long after full.
Well, the wireless charging chip on my V10 died after a month of charging on the Tylt Vu's. T-Mobile sent me a replacement and I'm just charging via USB now. It's faster and I can use the phone while it's charging.

Strange charging issue - will fast charge but does not charge on slow charger

My phone will not charge with slow chargers that worked for months prior. The charge indicator shows but the % goes down even with just screen on. Again, same charger that worked forever in my car. I swapped for another and same issue. It will however charge using a fast charger. So odd.
Only other strange thing is that the USB port seems to be more picky about certain cables.
I did a cache wipe and also tried safe mode and same behavior.

Galaxy A3: Screen turning on and off constantly while cable plugged in

Hello,
I have a Samsung Galaxy A3 (2017) which is acting strange with one of my chargers:
When I plug in the cable into the phone while the charger is not connected to the electricity the screen is turning on and off constantly while the phone is at the lock screen. The battery symbol doesnt tell it is charging so I am a bit confused why this is happening. When I did the same (plugged in but charger not attached to electricity) with under 10% I got a popup warning me that I shouldnt charge another device while my battery is low.
When the charger is connected to electricity everything is working fine
Every other charger doesnt trigger that behavior
Should I worry about this and maybe get another charger?
Thanks a lot!
