Why do we have another guide?
I've created this guide to clarify any confusion from other guides.
This guide is a full guide on how to restore your IMEI, no RIY (Research it yourself (Yes, I just made that up XD)).
Notes #1 I'M NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR BRICKING OR DAMAGING YOUR PHONE IN ANY WAY. FOLLOW THIS GUIDE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
Requirements :
A rooted phone
Running stock Nougat ROM
A data transfer cable (stock one works)
Your original IMEI(s) from your box
Some common sense
Required Files :
Nougat ROM* : https://goo.gl/zECMXV
Mi A1 QCN file* : https://goo.gl/LqSJyc
IMEI Converter* : https://goo.gl/NeJf9E
HEX editor : goo.gl/HEXeditor
Platform Tools : https://goo.gl/Cwjo2R
QPST Flash Tool : https://goo.gl/B69twP (Password : qpstflash.com)
Mi Flash Tool : goo.gl/MiFlashTool
Instructions :
Setting up your phone
1. Flash Nougat ROM via Mi Flash. If you're on Pie, then you have to follow a guide to downgrade to Oreo then Nougat, and most importantly, select clean all to keep your bootloader unlocked.
2. Enable USB debugging in developer options.
3. Make sure your phone is rooted properly. Then plug your phone into your PC.
4. Extract Platform tools, in the address bar of the folder type "cmd" then enter. In command prompt, type "adb devices" then enter. Grant access from your phone.
5. After given permission, type "adb shell" and enter. Then type "su" and enter. Grant root access from your phone.
6. Then type "setprop sys.usb.config diag, adb" then enter. You can exit command prompt.
Modifying IMEI(s)
1. Extract IMEI converter and open it.
2. Enter your IMEI's and convert it to hex values. Write the hex values on your Notepad or piece of paper.
3. Extract the QCN file and HEX editor. Open the QCN file with HEX editor.
4. Press "Ctrl+F" and open 'Hex-value' tab and set 'Search Direction' to 'All'. In the tab, search for "08 0A 81 00 25 79 81 67 19" and enter.
5. The hex values should be highlighted. Replace them with your SIM 1's hex values.
6. Once done, repeat step 4, but search for "08 5A 11 40 98 30 21 21 86" and enter.
7. Repeat step 5, but replace it with your SIM 2's hex values.
8. Once replaced correctly. Press 'Save'. *Not Save As*.
9. Rename your saved QCN file to "00000000_0".
Replacing your QCN file
1. On your phone, open the Phone app and dial "*#*#717717#*#*", there should be pop up saying 'diag port enabled'.
2. Install QPST to your PC and open QPST Configuration.
3. Go to Ports/Add New Port, uncheck "Show Serial and USB/QC Diagnostics only", click OK. Unplug and plug your phone to verify which is your COM port.
4. Then go to 'Start Clients' tab and select 'Software Download'. Navigate to 'Restore' tab.
5. Select your phone's port and select your QCN file below it.
6. Check 'Allow phone mismatch', then hit 'Start'.
7. Once done, unplug your phone and restart it.
Verifying your IMEI(s)
1. Open the Phone app and dial "*#06#".
2. Verify that your IMEIs match your box.
Notes #2
If it doesn't show up or doesn't match your box. You must repeat the whole process and wipe your EFS in TWRP by using these commands in the Terminal :
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p14
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p15

I had to use the dd commands and HxD (instead of the recommended HEX editor) but thank to you by Mi A1 is back on the land of the living.
I have strange issue.
Once i had lost my IMEI while downgrading from pie to oreo. I was not able to restore my IMEI so i went to Mi Service Center and they fixed it.
But after that it has a strange issue. My sim slots are interchanged.
SIM 1 in tray is shown as SIM2 in phone and SIM2 is as SIM1.
Though i have no problem with this as Now PIE support Dual Volte Support.
So just wanted to ask if i interchange my IMEI can this be fixed? My be service center guy misplaced IMEI.
just what I need, thank you OP! Will try to follow the guide and restore IMEI
edit: damn it, I have to find a how-to downgrate to Oreo and then Nougat

Dammit!
Can you please link me to a guide you followed to get your IMEI back? I'm on Pie, phone is working even without IMEI. I'd still like to get it back because I'm planning on selling the phone one day and I want IMEI to be present.

If you already lost it. Then nothing could get any worse. Just go for it.
Guide updated!
Sorry if anyone couldn't fix their IMEIs. I just refollowed my guide and apparently there are a few flaws in it. All of it has been fixed.
I need to do same process for my Mi 9T, anybody can help me?

Method 1 was discovered by a noob - Dav22. Dazweeja came up with a simple ADB command. Skygear for working it in Terminal Emulator
Method 2 was discovered by sieempi (Links at the bottom), STRING: NOT FOUND workaround found by jackmonter5
Big thanks to xplod4202. Risked his Sensation to see if Methd 2 was safe for us all.
And The simple guide : xl Viper lx : I am simply doing what i do best. getting you a noobproof guide and also simplifying the adb/terminal code
All of us will take credit for the collaborating and making of this thread to help everyone unlock with no cost. What???.....Yes thats right......We broke the FTSE index by providing free unlocks! lol
Also 9 people who voted no in the poll, ad voted before we found method 2 which unlocks every sensation
METHOD 1 - USE THIS FIRST
The SIM-Unlock code location for some sensation's (NOT ALL) has been found and confirmed to work for the few users who tested it. Use method 1 below to find your unlock code
(Method 1 ADB guide in post 2 if you don't want to use Terminal Emulator or you just want to use ADB)
Requirements:
-Rooted simlocked Sensation - Enable USB debugging in Settings > Application ->Development
-Terminal Emulator (Download free from the market) or click here to download and install into your phone
Your IMEI Number (Dial "*#06#" in phone keypad to get it)
GUIDE - Method 1
1. Download Terminal Emulator from the market if you havent already done so and Run it. This should bring you a blue screen. Full screen.
2. enter the command "SU".
3. Click allow when Super user pop up appears to give it root access. (If your keyboard disappears, keep hold of menu button to bring it back up)
4. enter the command "strings -n 8 /dev/block/mmcblk0p6"
5. This should give Output a bunch of numbers like in the screenshot! IF IT SAYS STRING: NOT FOUND MOVE TO POST 2 AND USE ADB!
6. The 8 digit number above your IMEI number is your unlock code. See post 2 on how to enter it.

IF it only brings you a date above your IMEI. Then the unlock code is not present in your device. Move to Method 2
GUIDE - Method 2 - USE IF METHOD 1 FAILED!
Revolutionary achieved radio S-OFF for Sensation (among other devices) which means you can practically do whatever you want with your phone (like actually owning it). This means it makes it vulnerable to all sorts of schemes including sim-unlock. The following method is quite efficient and easy to do and can be done with the need for a computer!
Requirements:
-Rooted simlocked Sensation!
-Clockwork Recovery or Revolutionary Recovery - NEEDED FOR NANDROID BACKUP
-Titanium Backup (Download from the market if you don't have it) - YOU ONLY NEED THIS IF YOU DONT WANT TO OR CAN'T NANDROID BACKUP
WARNING!!!
Backup all your settings/apps/sms/network/APN/Data etc.
Using this method to unlock will wipe your data and apps too! (Factory Resets in other words)
But it's this method that actually resets some other things including your sim-lock status.
Guide - Method 2
1. MAKE A NANDROID BACKUP USING RECOVERY - (Completely switch off your phone, Press Volume down + Power button to get into bootloader, Volume down to recovery then press power button to get into Recovery. Volume down to "Backup and Restore" in recovery. Press Power to backup and your done!
(Make a backup in Titanium backup if you don't want to or can't nandroid backup. Menu > BAtch >Backup systems data + Apps with data)
2. Download PG58DIAG for the Sensation HERE or FROM MULTIUPLOAD
3. Copy the PG58DIAG file into the Root folder of your SD card (The main Folder of your Memory Card)
4. Turn off your phone Fully and reboot into the Bootloader/HBOOT screen (see post 2 on how to get to bootloader screen)
5. Press Volume Down to Enter DIAG - Place the phone horizontally when it asks you too. (Flat)
6. Press power button to select "Clean S58 Data
7. Press power again to "clean S58 Data".
8. POW - your unlocked! Try a SIM card from a different provider!
9. Delete the file from your SD Card (Delete PG58DIAG) and REBOOT!!
Your phone Will set up for the first time, go through it all till you get to your home screen
10. Go back into recovery and restore nandroid backup. same method as step 1 above. but instead of backup, you use restore feature
(Use Titanium Backup to restore if you used it to backup instead of Nandroid backup)(Menu > Batch > Restore System Data + Apps with user data)
Now you’re free to go! Bear in mind, though, in certain circumstances you will lose your data connectivity or network signal. You’ll just need to check your APN, network type etc. and re-enter them; Just run the nandroid restore to get everything back
Thanks to Dav22. for discovery of method 1
Dazweeja for his simple Code to find the unlock
sieempi for Method 2.
Thanks to Team Revolutionary for PG58DIAG and S-off
Don't forget to CLICK THANKS, VOTE and RATE if this guide worked for you.
don't forget to thank the above users too by clicking the links
Method 1 ADB GUIDE
METHOD 1 - ADB GUIDE- Skip steps 1 to 5! if you already have already got ADB and can get to the ADB folder through command prompt/Terminal. If your not sure follow all the steps
1. Download adb tools here: download for Windows or Linux or from attachments in the Sensation S-off guide
2. On your PC click on your local disk C: Drive (or D: drive for some) (WINDOWS users: Start > My computer > Local Disk (C)
3. Create a new folder called "adb" and extract the files from adb.zip into it. Make sure it doesn't create another folder in the adb folder when extracting
4. open command prompt (or terminal for linux) and type "cd" "followed by the path to your adb folder" (windows users can type "cd C:\adb")
5.a Ensure your phone is switched on (regular home screen) and connect it by USB in charging mode (Ensure usb debugging is on settings) OR!!!!
[ IF YOU GOT THE STRING:NOT FOUND ERROR IN METHOD 1 (terminal Emulator) REBOOT INTO RECOVERY AND CONNECT YOUR USB AND CONTINUE (Turn off your phone completely, volume down + power button, then select recovery to get into it!) ]
6. enter the command "adb shell". Your phone should display a hash sign [#] (if it doesn't then you are not rooted! - GO ROOT)
7. enter the command "SU".
8. enter the command "strings -n 8 /dev/block/mmcblk0p6"
9. This should output a bunch of details as shown in the screenshot below
10. The 8 digit number above your IMEI is your unlock code. See post 2 on how to enter it. IF it only brings you a date and your IMEI. Then the unlock code is not present in your device. Move to Method 2 in Post 1
To unlock your GSM phone with the unlock code follow these simple steps:
1. Power on your Sensation with a SIM card from an unsupported network/carrier/provider.
2. If asked, enter the PIN code of your SIM Card.
3. Enter unlock code when prompted!
FOR DUAL CDMA
How to enter the code in dual CDMA - GSM/LTE HTC Phones
1. Power on your Sensation with a SIM card from an unsupported network/carrier/provider.
2. Phone will tell you to insert an allowed SIM card and that the phone will switch back to CDMA mode.
3. Click OK.
4. Click green button to get to the main screen of the phone.
5. Click on settings.
6. Click on all settings.
7. In the personal tab click on security.
8. The phone will ask you to enter the unlock code. Enter it. Done
You hook it up again bro! I love your guides! Noobproof for sure.

Not sure, im SH too, but i have a factory unlocked device!
This is to show you how to get Google Play on the Huawei Enjoy 5, which standard Chinese Stock ROM does not have Play store enabled.
Note: when unlocking the phone and installing custom recovery, it might mean that the OTA updates don't work anymore.
Since we have not yet had an update since I installed this, I could not check, but this is what is said in the Huawei unlock site...
Credits: my sincere thanks to andrik22, who guided me through the whole process...
Prerequisites:
Huawei Enjoy 5 phone (TIT-AL00)
Huawei Unlock tool (attached)
ADB drivers (attached)
ADB / Fastboot software (attached)
CWM Recovery file (attached)
GAPPS Pico for ARM64, Android 5.1 --> Download from Opengapps.org
Steps to complete:
1. Install ADB Drivers
2. Unzip ADB software in C:\adb
3. Unzip CWM_Recovery.img in C:\adb
4. Copy the GAPPS file into C:\adb
C:\adb should look like this now:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",

}
5. Now got to the phone and write down:
Settings -->about phone --> Status--> IMEI 1 + Serial Number
6. Connect phone by USB to computer
7. Enable USB debugging on phone --> slide down the notification area and touch "USB connection options", then on the bottom of the screen enable "USB Debugging"
7a. Copy the GAPPS file from C:\adb to the root of the external SD card on your phone
8. Unzip and open the Unlock tool (you might need to disable the virus checker, as this will be flagged and deleted, at least this was the case with me) --> fill in IMEI 1, get Product ID, write that down.
9. Go to the Huawei site to get your unlock code (log in with Facebook, or Huawei ID, fill in the required information product type = Smartphone, product ID = TIT-AL00, serial number from the phone, IMEI code, Product ID). Your unlock code will be below in Red)
10. Startup command prompt (Windows key + R, type cmd, enter)
11. In command prompt, type "cd \adb" to get to the adb directory
12. In command prompt check if device is recognized (typing "adb devices" in the command prompt should show you this)
13. Now reboot the phone into fastboot by typing "adb reboot bootloader"
14. This should reboot the phone into fastboot mode (black screen, only showing "fastboot>" on the bottom
15. In the command prompt, type "fastboot devices" to see if the device is recognized.
Your screen should look something like this:
The next command will unlock your phone AND make a hard reset... if any data or settings would need to be preserved, please make a backup!
16. Now type in the command prompt:"fastboot oem unlock XXXXX" where XXXX is the unlock code you got from the website
17. Then type in command prompt: "fastboot reboot". After this, your phone will reboot and reset.
18. When Phone is rebooted, make sure USB debugging is on again (same as point 7)
19. Now reboot the phone into fastboot by typing "adb reboot bootloader"
20. This should reboot the phone into fastboot mode (black screen, only showing "fastboot>" on the bottom
21. In the command prompt, type "fastboot devices" to see if the device is recognized.
22. Now we are going to flash CWM Recovery: type in command prompt: "fastboot flash recovery CWM_recovery.img"
23. reboot into recovery by typeing into command prompt: " "fastboot reboot" while holding VOL+ on the phone.
24. When the options screen on the phone appears, press VOL- to select the recovery mode. This will boot into CWM recovery.
25. In CWM recovery, select "install ZIP" and select "From Memory card" and select the Open Gapps file we have copied there in step 7a.
26 When flashing is done, type into the command prompt: "adb reboot" to reboot the phone.
This should reboot the phone. first 5 minutes it might be very slow as it is optimizing (Google) apps, but then Google Play store should be working on your phone!
Attention!
When installing SuperSU you can NOT get ROOT!!!
You will receive a cyclic reboot. And for the restoration of the phone need flash original recovery, and then install the firmware version B128 from the official site (update.zip).
Links for firmware version B128:
TWRP recovery
Original Recovery
Official page TIT-AL00
Firmware version C00B128 from the official site and mirror. Size: 1,2 Gb (The Chinese have made a mistake, inside the archive file located in the upgrade "dlaod" - is wrong, the folder should be called dload.)
Firmware version C00B132 from the official site and mirror. Size: 1,2 Gb
Firmware version C00B135 from the official site and mirror. Size: 1,2 Gb
Firmware from the official site installed only from original recovery, so if you have installed CWM recovery, you must first restore the original as it is written above, and already from it to make a clean install.
Can't open the Huawei Unlock tool...
Thanks for the guide but there's a crucial step that seems not to work: the "Huawei Unlocker.zip" tool only contains an adb.exe, fastboot.exe, and a few non-Windows-executable files (busybox and 2 .dll's) so how do we execute this tool?
gordonnorth said:
8. Unzip and open the Unlock tool (you might need to disable the virus checker, as this will be flagged and deleted, at least this was the case with me) --> fill in IMEI 1, get Product ID, write that down

=> How to "open the Unlock tool"? It seems to be missing from the .zip file... could you re-upload somehow?
Thanks again!

It worked perfectly now. Google Apps are installed. Thanks a lot, guys!
One more gotcha: the Huawei Unlocker.exe didn't work for me when executed directly from the .zip file, even though it's only one file so I expected that to work... Perhaps it self-extracts... Anyway, you need to unpack the .zip file first and then execute the unlocker .exe

Hey Andrik,
do you know where we can download that firmware?
and did you test that already? might be good to have a more westernized ROM available, so also the EMUI badges might work for whatsapp for example...

Manufacturer again changed the method of obtaining the unlock code.
You need to go to the phone account Huawei. For example, Huawei club, HiApp or Huawei Cloud+.
The report said that you did not go to these applications for more than 14 days.
The second option - for unlock to write their e-mail data (down - contact us).
thx for answering, first solution didnt work, so i sent mail, hope i will get some positive answer.
Hmm, still no answer from huawei tehnical support.
Anyone have some expirience with them?
Or, is ther any other solution for my problem?

Unfortunately, there is only a version of the installation software VPN, included in the service with Huawei phone with the expectation of 14 days.
I have not tested it should work in theory.
Perhaps you can write in support of Huawei in your country - that they may request an unlock code from colleagues in China.
Hi, I still have not solved my problem, so I have one question.
Will it be possible in the near future root this device?
Or i can trow it in the trash.

Even if it will be able to get root, too, need to unlock the bootloader on it.
You have tried to write an e-mail?
Send an email to [email protected] Email them the following. They usually email you back and tell you to do go online to unlock your bootloader and it should work on the website, or never email you back:
Hello. I keep getting an error when trying to unlock my phone on the unlock page.
Model: TIT-AL00 (Or whatever model you have)
Serial: Put in your phones serial number here. (You get this in About phone, Status)
IMEI: Put in your phones IMEI number here. (You get this in About phone, Status, it's IMEI1)
Product ID: (Go into your phone dialer and dial *#*#1357946#*#* and it will give you your Product ID, or use Huawei Unlocker)

This tool can root your Cubot Note Plus and patch your boot.img for working with Magisk.
this tool can make this in seperate steps or All-In-One. For now the bootloader must stay UNLOCKED for root to work.
A guide to doing this by yourself with adb is also in this post.
NOTE: ALL YOUR DATA GET LOST. SAVE YOUR IMPORTANT DATA FIRST. (Videos, Pictures, Music and all you can save.)
What this tool can do:
Unlock/Relock your Bootloader
Root/Unroot your Cubot Note Plus (Unroot dont work for now)
[*]Make a Dump of your Boot Partition as boot.img
Install MagiskManager-v5.4.3 and Magisk-v14.0
Please download the attached zip and unzip it somewhere and rightclick on RoCuNo+_V*.bat and start as Administrator.
Read all carefully and choose your option. Follow the instructions on screen STEP BY STEP!!!
Better way is to choose the AIO because that makes all for you except a few steps.

Changelog
RoCuNo+ v0.3
Delet the Unroot Section because it doesent work for now.
update Magisk Manager App to 5.4.3.
Update Guide.
Update patched_boot.img.
RoCuNo+ v0.2
complete rework.
all should now work.
now the original verified-boot.img from Cubot is implemented. so root and unroot works now.
ive patched the original verified-bood.img with magisk so no boot.img dump has to be made.
the tool now detects what state you are and boots the state needed for his job.
only magisk manager app has to be installed on device and the tool do this for you.
the tool detects if you are already oem unlocked or not. so if you already unlocked you dont
need to do that again. it also detects in witch state your phone and boots the right mode.

Problems:
i got some problems with dumping boot.img. the partiton size is 16M and the dd dump is also 16M but if i try to flash it back fastboot says the file is to large for partition. thats why unroot doesent work for now. Magisk patch the boot.img and resize them to 8M. than flashing works fine and all works. if someone can point me in the right direction would be very nice. if you have some questions please write here or pm me.
if someone can make a scatter file for this phone or had the scatter file it would be nice to share so we can try to backup the phone with SP Flash Tool. thanks.
if you found some bugs please tell it here so i can fix it.
Nice
Thanks for this great work, worked flawlessly. Just wondered, now we've got this root, is there any custom recovery we can install for it? (I realise many things will be available through Magisk's modules already, but still just wondered.)

I had already unlocked the bootloader myself prior to this, looking for a way to root it before I saw this article (I gather this is the first available root method for this device), and also manually installed MagiskManager and the MTK-Engineering-Mode apk's and from then on I used the ruCuNo+ bat to complete it.
I followed stage 6, then 7, then 3. Pointed the Magisk to the original boot img, got it patched, sent it to PC and flashed the boot image with ADB. After turning on the phone, Magisk ended up with two green ticks so everything was good to go.

No worries, great work - hopefully, we may see some custom recovery to come in the future from someone. Wish this phone actually had its own page on XDA, but I doubt it has enough widespread support for that, who knows.

Yes. custom recovery for the phone would be great. if I knew better, I would make one myself. but I've read a lot. maybe I'll try it in future to make one.
i think this phone dont get his own page. but maybe the Cubot vendor get his own where we can put all related Cubot threads together in his own sub section. :good:

I think the sequence in the Guide is a bit wrong. In the Guide I read:
Schwester_Gabi said:
...
Type:
Code:
adb reboot-bootloader
Than:
Code:
fastboot oem unlock
NOTE: ALL YOUR DATA WILL BE DELETED Press VOL+ on Phone if asked wait for device for unlock...
... (this comes now after)
Enable USB DEBUGGING and OEM UNLOCKING in Menu --> Settings --> Developer Options
...
Click to collapse
If I follow this I get (in very small fonts) as another user here in this thread:
Unlock failed...return to fastboot in 3s
Click to collapse
And no unlock of the bootloader seems possible.
Because first I need to do OEM UNLOCKING in the Dev. Options, which seems very clear. Only after I can fastboot oem unlock
What I further not quite understand in this post, is it either the Guide or the Batchfile I have to follow? Or is it a mixture of both what I need to do?
As I think the Batchfile cannot enable the Developer Tools in the System, or?
Lastly and most important: on my phone I don't see a mmcblk07p only a mmcblk0p7, so this throws an error:
Schwester_Gabi said:
...
adb shell dd if=/dev/block/mmcblk07p of=/sdcard/boot.img
...
Click to collapse
I guess that mmcblk0p7 is ment, so I did a dd with mmcblk0p7, and I let patch this file with Magisk to the file: patched_boot.img
But here I am very not sure and if I flash now a wrong img-file with this:
Schwester_Gabi said:
...
fastboot flash boot patched_boot.img
...
Click to collapse
I strongly guess that is it with my new phone
So could you please confirm that it was just a typo in the first post here?
How can I know which of these files in /dev/block is the boot.img?
Thank!!!

Yes. Its a typo. You can flash it.
Btw i am on the way to rework the whole Programm for better use and better instructions. Give me some time because iam very busy at the moment. But I will update it soon.
And remember its an 0.1ALPHA for now. So its not perfect
Oh Great! It works
Thank a lot for your work!!!
As a noob, I did not get what to do after installing the Magisk manager. So I have it installed, but it shows no root. How can I then install the root?
I used the "RoCuNo+_v0.2.bat" in admin mode and although I got through the unlock and root, I am stuck on what to do on Magisk in the phone.
I was able to root my galaxy tab, but perhaps I am too noob for these instructions?
(Btw while booting I get the "this phone is unlocked and cannot be trusted" text)
Ran into a bit of an issue here, I received an official OTA so I uninstalled Magisk by clicking uninstall within the APK, now my phone is stuck on the boot logo. I've tried to flash the original boot img, but I can't get into the system to confirm flashing it on the device. It displays under <adb devices> but when issuing the <fastboot flash boot> command it says <waiting for any device> and nothing occurs.
Not sure how to proceed without wiping the whole thing. Anything I can try?
So I did a factory reset and used the "RoCuNo+_v0.2.bat" again as follows:
First enabled developer mode, USB Debugging unknown sources, OEM unlock
Then ran the tool:
1 - unlock bootloader - success
3 - root - success
5 - install magisk - here the phone first boots, then it erases data, then does again all the "setup your phone, wifi, accounts etc"
"Orange state - this device is unlocked..." appears in the boot
Magisk is not installed in the apps.
OEM unlock is greyed out (but enabled)
So the tool worked differently, or I am missing something.
Perhaps there are new versions of this phone?
...aaaand it's rooted.
I did everything again using the adb -command instructions.
So did not use the .bat tool.
Used the step-by-step instructions.
Thanks a lot! Finally I can use macrodroid properly.
Unlike previously released Qualcomm based Nokia phones, Nokia X5 uses MediaTek Helio P60 processor.

What you need to have:
- MTK Smart Phone Flash Tool, which you can download from https://spflashtool.com/download/
- Android Platform Tools
- For Windows users, patched OST LA: https://drive.google.com/open?id=1n91aYT9Di6_v4F3Wjlv8TjfeLc64AcYA and MediaTek USB Port driver, which is easy to find
- Nokia X5 Chinese firmware and Global conversion firmware: https://fih-firmware.hikaricalyx.com/fihsw_en.html
Part 1: DO FULL BACKUP
Because few critical partitions are included in this backup, this will ensure you can restore them.
Download "PDA-114A-0-00WW-B01" and extract it.
Open Smart Phone Flash Tool, choose the Download Agent file and Scatter File in the unpacked PDA-1100 firmware.
DO NOT USE DOWNLOAD AGENT FROM THE FLASH TOOL ITSELF!

Then pick "Readback" tab, add a category.
Double click this category, and choose the location you want to save the backup.
Use any text editor to open the scatter file, and find "userdata". You'll need the start address of userdata as the length of the full backup.
After it properly set, click "Read Back", then power off your phone and connect your phone to PC with both volume keys pressed and holded.
When you see a progress bar moving, you can release both keys and wait for the procedure complete.
Disconnect your phone when procedure completed.
Part 2: Flash PDA-1100 global firmware
Return to download tab, choose "Firmware Upgrade" in the download options, click "Download", then power off your phone and connect your phone to PC with both volume keys pressed and holded.
When you see a progress bar moving, you can release both keys and wait for the procedure complete.
If you just want to unbrick it as Chinese firmware, double click the Location of "lk_a", and choose "PDA-0-102A-00CN-lk.img" before you "Download", or you will unable to install later OTA updates.
Because it flashes service lk by default.

Nope, bootloader unlock is not required.
You can just convert your phone, that's it.

When you change the SKUID, change it to 600CN instead of 600WW, and the lk filename is different from global PDA-1100 as you will find out.

I have a doubt in which directory of the ENG Rom I find the NON-HLOS file and if I can back it up, I "install" it in the global Rom, would the QCN written when it was in the ENG Rom work?

I have followed the guide, I was able to recover the original imei that came in the box, I have changed the 50ohm resistor, when I go back to stock rom I have baseband, I have both imei, but I have no signal, if I want to call a message appears saying "deactivate the airplane mode to call"

I used the published QCN ENG and edited it with the imei that I found in the original box of the equipment, now both imei appear in the global Rom but I have the ghost plane mode, absolutely everything works except the mobile radio
