Lg G6 or LG G7. The best for GCam? - General Questions and Answers

Hi guys i'm going to buy a new phone to install the google camera.
I think G7 is so good, i like a lot of its features, it's my favorite one and yesterday i found an amazing offer.
But i don't know if the google camera for g7 has a good quality and stability, i found a few information about compatibility and general performances.
Instead about G6 it's very easy finding articles, comparison video on youtube, seeing the huge difference between stock-gcam, supports, developments like this one https://forum.xda-developers.com/ap...7-google-camera-mod-wide-angle-t3747263/page2
What do you suggest me?
Is there the best solution for gcam between g6 and g7? Or is it exactly the same so i can buy my favorite one?

On this budget, the 2nd-gen Moto G would also be my choice. Great support by Motorola (regarding updates), easy to get, good reviews, 5 inch screen, etc. Other phones that cheap often come with major disadvantages, e.g., lack of HD resolution or horrible battery life. An alternative could be a used Nexus 5 phone. If you want to save even more money, you could also look for a 1st gen Moto G.

Samsung Pro Audio port

Hi everyone, I'm learning more about Android, I'm a musician too, and want to use (in future) Amplitube in my Moto G 2014.
Thinking on professional music apps, Samsung created Samsung Pro Audio, which delivers very low audio latency.
My questions is: Can it be ported to another non-Samsung device? If not, is there a possibility to do it in future, if a developer who know much about android try?
Sorry if it's a too noob question, but I didn't find an answer anywhere in my searches
Much like almost anything Samsung, I doubt the source code for the Pro Audio support is available. Furthermore, given the low-end hardware in the Moto G, I doubt you'd get anywhere near the same experience even if a developer found a way.

Good alternatives for the stock camera?

Hello, I've recently got my MI4 LTE and flashed lineage OS, so far so good. I love how much extra storage I could get out of it, especially since I'm only using the 16gb variant. Anyways, the only thing I miss is the stock cam for the MIUI. I don't really record much in UHD, but I do use the front camera a lot for short vlogs, but the Lineage Stock OS only gives me a max resolution of 720p. Do you guys have any alternatives for the stock MIUI camera on Lineage? Or is there a way to bypass the resolution and enable 1080p video recording?
P.S. I'd like to ask the mods to move the thread to the appropriate section if necessary, I just found out about the themes/app section just now.

Lg g7 Vs Oneplus 6

Hi everyone!
I need to buy a new phone but I'm stuck on choosing between this two phones, LG G7 (for 300€) or Oneplus 6 (for 400€).
I kindly ask you which one is better overall. The only two things I care more are camera quality and software updates.
Thanks for your help!

OnePlus updates usually a month apart and stock camera is good. You can install modded gcam without root and it works incredibly well.

OnePlus also has no bloatware and a very active development community.

OP6,I have one,perfect!
Both devices are a pretty good pice of tech , I also had dilemma which and why ... If you can get a G7+ than I would go that way (6GB ram) .
Standard G7 with 4GB of ram apart of that it has a DAC ,wireless charging ,IP68 rating and awesome wide lens cam , mini jack ... ooo boy quite hard choice... but for me lack of amoled , worse battery life , "only" 4GB of ram , worse support did the trick .
G7 will be stuck on Pie for an eternity as well
